The sounds of an alarm clock goes off and we see the bed spread get thrown from the top of the bed. We see Shane Borderland rising up very slowly. He throws his legs out of bed and just sits on the edge of the bed for a minute. He rubs his eyes and shakes his head.

Damn, i dont remember this being this bad.
Shane stands up, holding the lower part of his back. He walks into the bathroom and shuts the door.
KNOCK..KNOCK..KNOCK[/b]
Is heard at the door. The bathroom doors swings open and Borderland starts walking towards the door. He opens the door and its APW’s top interviewer, Shane West. Borderland just turns around and walks away as Shane West walks in the room, shutting the door behind him. Borderland walks back over to the bed, sitting on the edge of it and Shane West grabs a stool and slides it in front of Borderland.

So Shane how have you been feeling since your match with Wolves?

To tell you the truth West, i feel like shit. I dont remember this being so painful.

Well Shane, you have been off for almost a complete year now. So its going to take some time.

Well West, you know how i fucking feel. I went in with my head so damn big, im surprised it fit into the fucking arena. See i just under estimated Wolves. He is new and i just figured that i had this match into the big. But hell like you said, i was gone for almost a year. So i do need some time to get back in the game. Like i use to be. Hell i use to be one hell of a force in the APW. Then real life come into play and boy, was that the biggest mistake of my life. I should have just stayed with the APW and then i would be better now then i ever was before. Shit Happens i guess.

What did you think of Cameron Wolves?

Wolves was a tough and worthy opponent. I under estimated him and thats why he got the win. I made the rookie mistake and that was under estimating your opponent. Well i did and i paid for it. So now im just going to try my damndest to get back like i use to be. You know, the Shane Borderland that beat the hell out of everybody. The same man that got accepted into the APW and almost won the Test for the Best tournament. I was at my prime back then, now? Heh, i really dont know where im at. I guess im right back at the bottom and now its time to climb my happy ass on up.

I know, i talked with Jeff to see if i could join and he said i was too late. So that really pissed me because like you said. I was wanting to see if i could come out on top this year. But if i wrestled like i did with Wolves, i would have been eliminated in the first round. So im kind of glad that i was too late for sign ups, because i would have just taken up a bracket.

All of a sudden a buzzing noise can be heard. Borderland looks at the table beside his bed, reaches over and grabs his cell phone. He looks at the number, then looks at West.

Present Day
A limo pulls up in front of the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City, Louisiana. The limo sits there for a second and then pulls off. Where the limo was stands Shane Borderland. He is standing there with a gym bag in his hand. He walks to the arena and opens the double swinging doors. When he gets in the arena, of course they are people setting up for the APW event that is about to take place just in four days. Shane just walks right passed them and begins walking through the halls of the arena. he gets to this door that has a sign on it saying “Gym.” Shane opens the door and he see’s all kinds of workout equipment. He closes the door and walks to the counter that is in the corner of the room. He lays his gym bag down on the counter and walks over to a weight bench. He puts two 45lb weights on each side of the bar. He lays down on the bench and begins pumping iron. All of a sudden the door opens and a man stands there. Borderland puts the bar back on the rack and sits up, looking confused at the man.

Yes. I am APW’s reporter Phil. I was wanting to ask you some few questions.

Ahh yes, the Insect guy. Well lets just say that im not going in there and making the same mistake i did with Cameron Wolves. Im sure Insecto is a worthy opponent as well, but i have something to prove here. Before i left APW my life was going great. Now that i have came back, its been one big blur for me. I need this win so i can get back on track. That loss that i suffered has had me thinking about how i need to approach things. I made the biggest mistake of wrestling history the other day. Everyone knows to never under estimate your opponent. Well i did and look what happened. Now dont think that im going to change me because there is no way in hell that i would do that. Im Shane Borderland, the Bad Boy of the APW. There;s no changing me. Im still the same hard ass i use to be, well not exactly but i will be getting there. Anyways Insecto, i heard you just came off a win. Congratulations man, good job. But it might be a little different next week. This match is my redemption match for losing on my comeback match. So you will get the full affects that i have been suffering with.
What i mean by that is the loss. That match really has been bothering me for some odd reason, but i guess i will get over it. But this match is going to be different because i am the one that is going to get their hand raised at the end of the match. I will show everyone that i havent lost my touch, i dont need to quit or i dont need a partner to help me. I can do this shit all on my own and its going to start with you Insecto. Im sure that you are thinking that i came back talking all kinds of smack and then lost. So you think thats going to happen again. Well i dont think so, you want to know why? Well now my senses are back to where they use to be. I know im back now. After that match i had, i realized, fun is over now. Time to start my career over and im going to start it by showing you that you are nothing but a steeping stone for me. Im sure your still happy from the win that you just had. But if i was you, i would stop celebrating and start focusing. Because the opponent that you had last week isnt nothing compared to me or the beating that i am going to give you. This match is my shot to show everyone that im still the same old Borderland. So when you step into that ring with me, just be prepared to live the worst nightmare that you have ever had.

Because it was my comeback match Phil! That was my time so shine, my moment, but i made the rookie mistake and it got taken away from me. Thats why im going to take out all my frustration on El Insecto de Negro. He might have won his last match, but its time for me to turn on the heat and shut his little streak down. This is my era now and i will go no limit on his ass and show him why i was one of the best in the APW. How many people can you say that joins a federation and gets put into a tournament as soon as they arrive against some of the biggest names in the APW and almost wins it? Not many Phil. I made it to the finals and C.J. Gates put me out. I did pretty damn good when i first started out in APW and i will remain doing that as well. They put Insecto in front of me thinking that im going lose twice in a row. But they are sadly mistaken and so is he. He might have a big head because he just came off a win and all, but my mind is set to start the show now. In my first match back i dont think i was really recognizing what was really happening. Remember i didnt step foot near a ring in 7 months, so my mind set was really off. Now that i have stepped back in the ring. All of those familiar feelings i use to get when i stepped in the ring, all came back to me.
So Insecto thinks he is actually going to add another victory to his record. Well if he thinks for one second that this match is going to be easy for him, well i got to say is. You might think you have this win, but as soon as you blink, i will make your life a living hell. When you step into that ring with, its like entering another world. Your my prey and im your predator. I will stalk you and hunt your ass down and i will show you the true meaning of a superstar. Sure i lost my match and you won yours, but you do realize that i am looking for the redemption that i truly deserve. So it looks like you are the lucky contender thats ass is going to get pulverized. Im going to show you how i use to deliver in the APW, way before you every showed up. See i had a couple of single matches while i was teaming with Kash, and i will say that i remember losing maybe like two times or so. So you will get the full wrath of the Bad Boy. Im going to make a point in this match. No matter what it is, i will come out victorious. If i have to pin you, squash you, use a damn insecticide spray, your ass will be the one lying down looking up at the roof of the arena. You will hear the sounds of my theme music in the background as you lie wondering what in the hell just happened.

My first object is to show everyone that i made a rookie mistake and i will prove that to them by taking your ass and planting it onto the mat.
