RULES
1. No quoting PM's at all!
2. Role claiming is NOT allowed! The ONLY exception is sharing INVESTIGATIVE information. This applies to cops, watchers and any other roles that are investigative in nature.
3. No discussing the game outside of the thread unless I have informed you otherwise.
4. I expect you to be active. Days will have a 72 hour deadline or when a lynch is reached.
5. Nights will have a 24 hour deadline, or until all night actions are received. When PMing me a Night Action, please use the subject "Mafia"
6. You are not dead until I confirm it.
6. Once you are dead don't post.
7. At the end of the day phase if a lynch has not been meet then there will be no lynch that day.
8. You have 24 hours to make a post, after 24 hours of no activity you will be sent a prod, if you don't respond to your prod after 24 hours you will be modkilled or replaced.
8. If you go for a full day phase without posting you will be modkilled unless otherwise stated.
9. No editing your posts and try to avoid triple posting
10. All posts must contain visible letters. You cannot use text that has to be highlight to read, or text so small that it has to be enlarged. Although, coding your messages is allowed.
11. Respect your mod as well as other players. Leave your grudges at the door.
12. In the event of a mod kill the day will end immediately.
13. No voting for someone not in the game.
14. Votes must be in the normal bolded format. ex: Vote: Level-One
15. It is NOT necessary to unvote before voting again.
16. Town is green, mafia is red and third party is purple if applicable.

 Tony the probation worker stands in front of ASBO five also known as the misfits. He holds a clipboard in his hands as he goes down the list. Tony: Gary? Gary: What? Tony: Kelly Bailey? Kelly Bailey doesn't answer she just gives Alisha Bailey who's on her cellphone a dirty look. Tony: Curtis Donovan? Curtis Donovan: Here. Tony: Simon Bellamy Simon Bellamy: Here sir. Tony: Alisha Bailey? Alisha Bailey: Fuck off, yeah? Tony grits his teeth as he looks at Nathan Young who's picking his nose. Tony: That makes all of you accounted for. Now listen up. Kelly Bailey: Get on with it, mate. Tony: There are people out there who think you're scum. You have an opportunity to show them they're wrong. Nathan: Yeah, but what if they're right? No offense, but I'm thinking some people are just born criminals. Gary: Are you looking to get stabbed? Nathan: You see my point there? Nathan and Gary get into a tussle as the other misfits pull them apart. All the while Tony looks on in rage. The two break apart as Kelly Bailey pulls Nathan Young aside. Kelly Bailey: So, what did you do? Nathan Young: Me? I was done for eating some pick n' mix. Kelly Bailey: Are you fuckin' serious? Nathan Young: Not everyone can be hardened criminal like you! Nathan Young looks over Kelly Bailey's shoulder and see's Simon standing off to the side minding his own business. Nathan Young: What about you, weird kid? Don't take this the wrong way or anything, but you look like a panty sniffer. Simon Bellamy: I'm not a panty sniffer. I'm not a pervert. I tried to burn someone's house down. Nathan Young raises an eyebrow and points at Curtis Donovan.Nathan Young: What about you? Curtis Donovan: What about me? Nathan Young: What are you in for? Murder? Rape? Theft? Curtis Donovan: Is it because I am black? Nathan: Now now no need to get all racial! Alisha Bailey smiles flirtatiously at Curtis. Alisha Bailey: I have seen you on tv before. This catches the probation workers attention as all of the misfits look up at the sky and see it clouded with grey. Several seconds later hail rains down the size of soccer balls! Nathan Young: HOLY SHIT! RUN! The misfits take off running as the storm rains it's wrath down upon them but to no avail - the misfits are swept off their feet and knocked unconscious. - SOMETIME LATER- Kelly Bailey: You know after the storm, did any of you lot feel like dead weird? Nathan Young: Yeah. I had a strange tingling sensation in my anus. Nathan Young picks a wedgie out of his ass as he heads for the bathroom. Once there he zips down his zipper and takes a piss. Barely paying attention he doesn't realize the blood on the wall until it's too late. He stumbles backwards and pisses on himself as he takes off running out the bathroom. Nathan: THERE'S A MAD MAN ON THE LOOSE HELP! Dead day one: Level-One - Gary - Vanilla TownieNathan Young: I bet that probation worker had something to do with this! As a completely unrelated question (because I want to know what I can expect from them) is it that cops and watchers and the like CAN say "I'm a cop and I investigated so and so..." or is it that they can say ONLY "I investigated ...". I was a bit unsure with the rules (bolded part). Sorry Lester!
Anyway, I liked Noble's reason voting for Farq. It must be a sign haha!

Probably would need Level One to verify, but I'd assume that you could hint at your role but can't give it away... |

I don't see how there can be any less than 4 scum. 4/16 = 25%...so that's like the low end.
Anyone familiar enough with the source material to list some possible bad guys/third party characters?
I'll look on wiki in just a bit.

Lets go to the classic questions that gets people talking How many scum do you guys think are in the game? On flavour alone, we've got Gary and the second probation worker. Virtue girl and Mister Big Cheese. I might be missing one or two though I'm sure wikipedia would confirm in some respect the numbers we could be dealing with. I'd probably say that 4 is a fairm number to work from as it makes a quarter of the game anyhow. |

Right, working from the wikipedia entry I'd say the potentials are from these. Ignore my previous posts where I said Gary, I meant to say Tony.
Tony and Sally - Probabtion workers. Definite assumption here that these will be the mafia.
Rachel - Virtue girl. Could be another part of the mafia.
Brian - Big Cheese himself, probably one of the more important villains in the show, should be involved somewhere.
Elliot - Jesus dude. Villain of the Christmas episode, could be involved.
I'm confident on Tony/Sally, can't be 100% on Rachel being a mafia considering what she did in the show and Brian was Big Cheese for a reason.
Assuming we are dealing with just the mafia I'd say 4. If we're dealing with other parties I'd say a 3/1/1 or 3/1 split depending.

I think this is one flavour that lends itself to an unorthodox set-up. I wouldn't be surprised if we are dealing with more than a two or three faction game, the nature of the show is that the 'ASBO 5' are never really up against a singular organised threat, and if I were doing this set-up I would have several factions including a number of third parties working to their unique win conditions.
At first I thought all the players in the write-up (green) were confirmed town, but L-1 makes no reference to the use of colours in the rules. Nevertheless, it is customary that townies appear green so we have to trust that initially.
There seems to be a problem with Tony appearing as green because he is the one who kills Gary in the show and tries to kill the rest of the gang, only for them to kill him in self-defence. However, an obvious solution is that Tony was green before the storm and turned scum after it when he became psychotic (he isn't mentioned after the storm).
I wouldn't be surprised if we are dealing with a mafia faction, a cult leader, and a serial killer. My initial conjecture is that the mafia faction consist of the various probation workers the gang have to contend with: Shaun, Sally, Tony; the cult leader would be Rachel, leader of the 'Virtue' organisation who gained manipulative powers in the storm and can brainwash people to behave how she wants them to behave; the serial killer, if there is one, is Brian or 'Monsieur Grand Fromage', a weirdo who gains the power to manipulate dairy products, but more importantly goes on a murderous rampage against those with 'storm-powers' to protect his fame.
If this is correct it means 3 mafia, 1 cult leader, 1 serial killer, 11 townies. That doesn't seem to me too much of an imbalance and the third party powers may have restrictions such as only being able to use them every other night.

ok so i think its a dead give away that we DEFINiTELY have third party. now, its just a matter of figuring out wat that do. i hope its not like that arsonist a couple of games back. would cause MAJOR havok.

With this being a Level One game, who knows how many scum. At least three, I'd wager, with either a 4th mafia member or some form of SK and/or cult in there too.
But, as people have mentioned above, I can't say too much without knowing the show, but from Keaton's post I'd wager we've got at least a mafia and probably some sort of 3rd party.
