A silhouette sat in one of the many love-seat chairs that rested under the Café tables. A large coffee was placed in the shadows apparent hand. Two claps rung out as a small near by light turned on revealing the silhouette to be a person and not just a regular coffee drinker but Torrie Leigh. Long black hair draped over her shoulders as she raised her coffee to her lips and took a small sip of the still steaming coffee. A hot caramel macchiato was her regular at any Café that she aimlessly wandered into.
Torrie is dressed head to toe in black, knee length trousers with fishnet tights underneath, black 30’s style shoes, a long sleeve low cut jumper which hugs her curves, she has on soft make up but it doesn’t hide the sharpness in her eyes.
Her dark eyes gazed nonchalantly across the small room, gazed a few seconds at a guy and a girl who just ordered coffee and were heading to a near by table. Returning her stare back to her coffee she took another sip, closing her eyes to enjoy the rich caramel taste that lingered after she swallowed.
A black jacket lined in fur hung loosely on the back of her chair as she leaned back looking up at the ceiling fans with her mind lost once more in her own thoughts. Today Torrie didn’t want to have a bunch of things to do... even though she knows she should be getting ready for her match next week.
Whatever life threw at her it was always the end of the day when she finds a near by Café that she likes the most. She raised her drink once more to her lips to take another sip before placing it down and looking around the cafe, she then reached over to her handbag and pulled out a black and white notebook and pen, flicks past pages and pages of writing until she finds a blank page and starts to write across the page, she sits there lost in thought until a shadow falls across the page, when Torrie looks up she sees Hannah Storm standing there. Torrie gives her a glance over and raises an eyebrow.
Torrie Leigh: Yeah I’m not signing autographs today, sorry.
Hannah sits down and places her coffee on the table and pulls out a notepad and pen completely blanking Torrie who looks annoyed.
Torrie Leigh: What do you think you’re doing?
Hannah Storm: I’m Hannah Storm, interviewer from APW. I’m going to interview you, we had this time booked and because you weren’t at the meeting place I had to find you.
Torrie Leigh: Oh yeah the whole interview gig thing, ugh I guess I can give you some time. But make it quick I’m not overly in a chit chat mood.
Hannah Storm: Right... Ok... Anyway, firstly welcome to APW and the Meltdown Roster.
Torrie Leigh: Oh big whoop. APW and Meltdown should be happy to have me. Come on have you seen this? I’m sure you’ve already heard all about me.
Hannah Storm: Um no, not really.
Torrie looks horrified
Torrie Leigh: Oh my God! You can’t be serious! I’m Torrie Leigh, the Torrie Leigh. I’m a legend back home in London. And you’re telling me you have no clue who I am. Ugh! I’ve made the effort to come over here, to give all your fans what they want, and you don’t even know who I am. I can’t walk down the street in London without being flanked by paparazzi and having to stop to sign autographs. You haven’t seen any of my magazine shoots? Acting gigs? Work in the ring? Seriously? Phhhht!
Torrie rolls her eyes and lets out a sigh
Torrie Leigh: Listen dollface, I’m a big deal, a very big deal and Monday night everyone on the roster will soon sit up, notice and pay attention to me. Soon all of you here will see what everyone back home sees and fell in love with. Mark my words, you’ll soon all see what I can do and soon you’ll all know exactly who I am.
Hannah Storm: How do you feel about your first match? You have Yarmouth and Carter Rutherford.
Torrie Leigh: Didn’t Yarmouth get his as handed to him last week by a girl? Someone who thinks going ‘oh daddy’s girl getting money yadda, yadda, yaddd’ really think that will hurt my feeling? Get me all worried?
Torrie smirks
Torrie Leigh: So I was born into money - and what, I look pretty damn good on it don’t I? I always get what I want, and sorry if daddy has been there to foot the bill. Who cares! Get over the fact you’re just jealous of my life style. work a little harder and you might be as flush as I am. So lets see if Monday you’ll manage to get a win over a girl.
Hannah Storm: And Carter Rutherford?
Torrie Leigh: Well our American hero hasn’t had much to say has he? I’m still waiting and I haven’t heard a peep out of him. Maybe he’s realized he doesn’t deserve to be in the ring with someone of my caliber. Maybe I just intimidate him too much, I understand that - Men are always intimidated by me, our American hero is no different.
Hannah Storm: So you’re not worried about getting in the ring with two guys who outweigh you? Who tower over you?
Torrie Leigh: Dollface, I’m not worried in the slightest. Now do you have all you need? Because frankly I’m bored of this conversation.
Hannah Storm: Well I have a few more...
Torrie Leigh: Ding, ding, ding, Times up. Sorry but I have way better things to do with my time.
Torrie grabs her coat and bag and turns away from Hannah, who sits looking shocked, Torrie slips huge sunglasses over her eyes and then walk out of the coffee house.
