Dark Match: Steve Stryker vs. Warren Peace
The match begins with Stryker charging towards Peace. He takes Warren to the corner and after a few massive chops, he throws Peace in to the opposite corner. Stryker follows it up with a massive clothesline. Peace stumbles out of the corner as Stryker comes flying in with a running bulldog that smashes Warren's face in to the mat. He goes for a quick cover: 1 . . 2 . . KICKOUT! Showing an impressive feat of strength, Peace tosses Stryker off of him. Peace fires back with a few punches to the head of "The Hitman" and chases him backwards. He whips Steve in to the ropes and drops him with a drop-toe-hold and runs to the head. He locks in a headlock and as Styker tries to get out, Peace delivers a few haymakers to the forehead. He lets go as Styker gets back to his feet and attempts a back body drop to get out of the hold but Peace counters in mid air with a spinning DDT. He goes for the cover... 1 . . 2 . . Stryker kicks out. The two are back up and struggling to get the upper hand. Stryker charges in but Peace ducks underneath his clothesline attempt and comes back but Stryker counters with a body slam sending Peace down to the mat. He grabs Peace by the back of the head who grabs Stryker's head and sends him over with a small package. 1 . 2 . Stryker kicks out! Stryker rolls over top with his own small package reversal and the referee jumps down to count. 1 . . 2 . . 3! Winner: "The Hitman" Steve Stryker The camera opens up to the arena in Lexington, Kentucky as pyro shoots from the four ring posts. We get closeups of the fans at ringside and their excitement from being at the second edition of Monday Night Meltdown shows. We span ringside where Shane West and Dick Harris are ringside. West: Welcome everybody to Monday Night Meltdown! The whole world has been talking about the newest APW brand and what's coming next!Harris: We had a huge announcement last week from Meltdown GM Johnny Diamond -- that Evan Envi would be facing Sam Parker at Mayhem for the APW North American Championship! Parker got the edge last week but I have no doubt that Envi will have something to say tonight!
Shane West looks like he's getting a message in his headset as he cuts in on Dick Harris. West: I'm getting word that Envi is arriving at the building right now!
Our cameras cut to the back where we are approaching a white limousine which has just parked-- across several parking spots-- in the uppermost parking deck. Hannah Storm pops into the lower corner of our screen, power-walking toward the back of the limo. Like clock-work, it pops open, and Hannah turns to shoot the camera a satisfied half-smile before adjusting her hair and approaching the door. Our fanbase roars in a mixed reaction as Evan Envi appears from the vehicle. He looks around, an eyebrow raised, and then turns to Hannah. Hannah: Evan, good evening. Can I ask you a few questi--Evan: Ugh, you already arrrre...Hannah: ...Evan, the world wants to know how you feel after your loss to the 'Lone Star' Sam Parker last week on the inagural episode of APW's revamped Meltdown. While the fans cheer at the mention of Evan's opponent for Mayhem, Evan just smirks at Hannah. Evan: How I feel and how I felt are two different things, Hannah. I'm feeling pretty good about it now... It was a learning experience. At the time, sure, I was a little miffed but hey-- these things teach you valuable life lessons. Timeless classics like, 'don't take your eye off the ball' and 'never trust a cowboy.'Hannah: Do you agree with the news reports that suggest that the manner in which you lost proved unfair?Evan: Well, duh, Hannah. Don't you know anything about me?Hannah shrugs. Hannah: Not really.Evan: Well, I hate stupid questions, Hannah, damn. Evan raises a hand to her face and simultaneously turns, leaning into the mirror to admire his appearance. He brushes strands of black hair behind his head before standing upright and giving Hannah a once-over. Evan: Grab my bag, Hannah. You're standing there with a stick in your hand... Jesus, make yourself useful. For several seconds, the two just stare at each other. Wide-eyed. Unflinching. Evan scoffs and walks past her, strolling leisurely into the building as Hannah Storm stands by the (still open) limousine door in a state of near-shock, prompting us to focus back on Shane West and Dick Harris at the announce table. West: Envi looks like he's on a man on a mission and he's prepared to take down the entire Meltdown roster to make it to the top! Harris: It's about time we had someone around here who had a pair, Shane! West: We'll be right back for our opening match!

West: We're excited to see one of the newest APW megastars Carmen Rivera take on Bulk Rogaine tonight! Harris: I'm not holding my breath -- the Immortal One has been on quite the roll here! West: Let's get to it!
"Do It Like A Dude" began to play over the P.A. system as the cameras panned towards the stage. After a few moments of delay, out from the back comes a "fashionably late" Carmen Rivera with a deviant's snicker on her gorgeous face. She stands atop the ramp on the center of the stage, demanding attention as a few of her fingers run through her long hair. The superficial vixen then begins to make her way down the ramp, careful to avoid touching the extended hands of any fans who were brave enough to try and capture her attention. Strutting up the steel stairs, she was by no means in any sort of a rush. Carmen struts along the length of the apron, bending into the ring underneath of the second rope. Brushing any sort of wrinkles out of her ring gear, she made her way towards a nearby turnbuckle. Standing on the second rope, her hands glide down her curvaceous figure before she twirls off of the rope, bouncing back to the canvas. Bending over to stretch in the corner, she glanced coldly at the other side of the ring -- almost rabid, awaiting the ring of the bell. Paige: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, from San Diego, California, weighing in at 130lbs, Carmen RIVERA!Eye of the Tiger hits on the PA system, and Bulk makes his way out from the backstage area. Writhing in pain and holding his back, he limps down the ramp and slowly crawls into the ring. He gets to his feet, circling around the ring, and waving his hand round-and-round in the air. He chooses the loudest portion of the crowd, and does three different flex-poses before ripping off his Bulk-a-Mania T-shirt, and throwing it into the crowd. He then walks over to the corner and begins stretching, already winded and very blown up. Paige: And now, weighing in at 302lbs, from Venice Beach, California, “The Mortal One” Bulk Rogaine!Carmen Rivera vs. “The Mortal One” Bulk Rogaine
West: I've been looking forward to seeing Rivera in action since she signed her APW contract. She has quite the background!
Harris: That’s all well and good, but the Bulk-meister has nearly 270 pounds on her! The poor girl doesn’t stand a chance.
Carmen charges towards the Bulk and hits a dropkick to the chest which seems to not affect Bulk at all. Carmen falls to the ground and jumps up looking surprised. After a few more of these attempts, Carmen charges towards Bulk and he throws down a huge clothesline that flips Carmen upside down and almost takes her head off. Bulk taunts towards the crowd and slowly gets down to one knee and goes for the cover.
1 . . . . 2 .
Kick-out by Carmen!
West: I think Bulk Rogaine thought he had her there, but Carmen isn’t one to quit early.
Harris: He’s just toying with the poor girl.
Bulk Rogaine gets up a bit bewildered that he hasn’t made quick work out of Rivera. He picks up Carmen and throws her off the ropes, as she comes back, Bulk goes for another clothesline but misses badly. Carmen stops herself and jumps up onto the second rope and then back towards the missing Bulk and hits hit with a dropkick to the back of the head. Bulk stumbles down to the ground and Carmen runs and jumps onto the turnbuckles. Bulk starts to get up Carmen jumps off the top rope and hits a tilt-a-whirl head-scissors takedown!
West: And the crowd goes wild as Carmen takes down the big man!
Harris: I’m speechless.
Carmen psyches up the crowd as Bulk Rogaine struggles to get up and Carmen runs towards Bulk trying to hit the “Maxed Out”, as she attempts to flip Bulk over Bulk doesn’t move at all and Carmen goes flying towards to the edge of the ring. Bulk stands up laughing watching Carmen grab the ropes trying to get up. Carmen runs towards Bulk as Rogaine tries for a big boot, Carmen ducks underneath it, hits off the back ropes, runs, jumps towards Bulk and hits the DIAMOND DAGGER! Carmen goes for the cover!
1 . . . . 2 . . . . 3!!
Paige: Here is your winner, Carmen Rivera!
Harris: I can’t, uh, I can’t believe it. West: Carmen Rivera won out with her determination and technical skill there. Bulk was just too big and, well, bulky.Harris: You just couldn’t help yourself.West: No sir, I couldn’t. We'll be right back after a word from our sponsors!

West: We’re back and ready for some tag-team action here on Meltdown!Harris: An inter-gender tag match for that! The camera pans around the entry way as Hell on High Heel’s by Motley Crue begins to play and the fans begin to jeer. Paige: Ladies and gentlemen, the following tag team match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from London, England! Weighing 120 lbs., Torrie Leigh! The arena lights dim as blue and white lights flash around the arena and Torrie Leigh appears on the stage. She ignores the shouts from the crowd and makes her way down to the ring, where she jumps onto the apron and drops down into the splits before getting into the ring. West: The crowd isn’t shy about letting them know how they feel about her!Harris: That might be true but who doesn’t like seeing that! Hot dog!Torrie turns to the entryway and “Eyes of a Panther” by Steel Panther hits the PA and plays around the arena. Paige: And her tag team partner, from Camden Town, London, England, weighing 115 lbs; She is “The Wild Child” Dita Morgan!Dita Morgan steps out on to the entrance way, her eyes scan the arena and the huge crowd. After taking a deep breath she starts to make her way down to the ring. She walks by the crowds and heads up the stairs and steps through the ropes. She stands in the center of the ring and waits for the music and the crowd to settle down. She looks at Torrie who gives her a dismissive look. West: It seems like there is a bit of a communication problem here.Harris: Torrie just sees herself as being above someone like Dita.An instrumental version of "Saints n' Sinners by Whitesnake plays, and purple and silver lights flash throughout the arena. The fans begin to cheer the team about to make their way to the ring. Paige: And their opponents, coming to the ring, at a total combined weight of 466 pounds, "the Masterpiece" Mike Hunter and "Smooth" Tommy Walker; TEAM TERRIFIC!Team Terrific pass through the curtain and walk down the aisle. Both Walker and Hunter carry mics in their hands. "Smooth" Tommy Walker: Girls! Listen, we want to talk to you to lovely ladies about something.West: "Smooth" Tommy Walker and "the Masterpiece" Mike Hunter making their way to the ring.Harris Harris: Sorry, I'm busy watching my knuckle hair grow. It's far more scintillating. "Masterpiece" Mike Hunter: This is it ladies! You one chance to step off and save face.Tommy Walker: I thought we were offering them a chance to forfeit and come to dinner with us so we could save face? The crowd continues to voice their amusement at Team Terrific. Walker and Hunter reach the ring and mount opposite turnbuckles, raising their hands. Mike Hunter: Look, just stand there and wave to the people, pretty boy. Let me do this.Tommy Walker shrugs and lowers his microphone. Team Terrific make their way to the ring. Mike Hunter: You see Dita and Torrie, unlike my simple friend here...Tommy Walker: HEY!Mike Hunter: ...my special friend...Tommy Walker: That's better!Mike Hunter: I am not afraid to hit a girl. So? What'll it be ladies?Walker and Hunter get to the ring and await the response. Dita looks back at Torrie who just shrugs. Then a Mike Hunter and Tommy Walker start to climb into the ring suddenly Dita comes forward knocking them both off the apron to the mat! West: What a cheap shot by Dita!Harris: West! Come on! You saw that Torrie pushed her into those two buffoons!Dita spins to face Torrie Leigh who just smiles and shrugs. Then Torrie ducks and rolls out of the ring as Dita is mowed down from behind by Mike Hunter and the ref rings the bell. Torrie Leigh and Dita Morgan versus Team Terrific
West: Mike Hunter did not take that answer very well.Mike is stomping Dita in anger after the match begins but Tommy pulls him off Dita and tells him to calm down as Torrie stays on the apron watching her tag partner start to get back up. Mike grabs Dita and shoots her off as Tommy gets on the apron. On the return Dita hits a headscissors takedown! The fans pop as Mike rolls back up and counters with a drop kick! He grabs Dita and brings her to the corner and tags in Tommy Walker. Tommy gets in the ring and refuses a double team move. Instead he brings Dita to the center of the ring and tries to talk to her. Harris: What are you doing Tommy?West: They don’t call him “Smooth” Tommy walker for nothing.Whatever Tommy says doesn’t click with Dita, who slaps him in the face. Tommy doesn’t look too happy about that and he goes for a right! Dita ducks and bounces off the ropes dodging the clothesline then the back elbow and comes off with a cross body she goes for the cover! 1 . Tommy kicks out fast and Dita goes to make a tag! But Torrie isn’t there! Dita turns and ducks the grapple attempt from Tommy Walker, she grabs hi a nd hits the scoop slam! Torrie leigh is standing at ringside by the stairs at their corner as Dita demands she gets up here and make the tag. Torrie just shakes her head. Tommy Walker is back up in a bit of a daze for a second so Dita kicks him in the gut and hits a big DDT center for the ring. She goes to bounce off the ropes and Torrie makes a blind tag! West: See that? Harris: Is this her strategy?Dita hits a quick flip splash and goes for the cover but the ref doesn’t count he tells her to leave as Torrie climbs the top rope and waits. As Dita looks around in shock Tommy rolls back up and Torrie comes off the top! She goes for a diving cross body but Tommy catches her! The fans cheer happily as he walks her around the ring in his arms! He goes to lift her for a power slam and Torrie scrambles down his back and tags in again. Dita is stunned! Harris: What is she doing?West: She’s playing it smart! These men are twice the size of these ladies. She doesn’t want to be hurt.Harris: West you just hate Dita.West: And you hate everyone.Dita gets back in the ring as Tommy just shakes his head. He gets ready to approach her but Mike Hunter slaps Tommy on the shoulder to tag himself in. Tommy looks confused as he and Mike begin to argue again. Dita comes him and and goes to charge them but Mike catches her with a big powerslam in the center of the ring! He glares down at Dita and goes for a cover. 1 . . . 2 . Dita rolls the shoulder up. Mike gets up and stomps her again as Tommy tells him to calm down from the apron. Mike turns to argue at his tag partner again. Harris: Tommy is telling him to take it easy.West: After all the sneaky movies these two British chicks have done why should he?Mike turns around as Dita is back on her feet. She ducks a right hand from him and delivers two of her own. Then Dita winds back to go for a hard hit and Mike counters with a bicycle kick to the face! He goes for the cover! 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!! Nicky Paige: Here are your winners! “Masterpiece” Mike Hunter and “Smooth” Tommy Walker, Team Terrific! Mike stares down at Dita who rolls onto her stomach. Torrie Leigh is already booking it up the entryway as Tommy enters the ring and gets between his tag partner and the downed Dita Morgan. The referee raises both men’s arms as their music plays over the sound system. The fans jeer slight at Torrie as she leaves Dita behind while Tommy convinces Mike to exit the ring. The two slap hands with the fans as they make their way up the ramp and head backstage.

Paige: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Already in the ring: from Long Island, NY; he weighs 160lbs...MR. DANGEROUS!"Do it like a dude" blares over the loudspeakers as strobe lights illuminate the fog shoothing from the entrance area. Out walks Scarlet Quinn bouncing up and down and shadow boxing. She smiles and blows a kiss across the crowd before hopping up and down one last time. She then sprints down the ramp, slapping hands with the crowd along the way. Paige: Coming to the ring: from Seattle, WA; weighing 146lbs...ANGELINA QUINN!She slides under the bottom rope and sprints right to the turnbuckle where she runs up to the top and poses for the fans. She then backflips off the turnbuckle, landing in the middle of the ring and then falling right into a split as she holds her hands up high. She then slides into one corner as she waits for the bell to ring. Singles Match Angelina Quinn vs. Mr. Dangerous
The bell sounds and Mr. Dangerous charges in at Angelina with his arms wildly flailing, but Angelina sidesteps and takes Mr. Dangerous down with a drop toe hold, causing his face to slam into the mat. Mr. Dangerous gets up holding his nose and starts to make a time out gesture. Angelina is having none of it though and tries to whip Mr. Dangerous but he reverses and send her into the ropes. Angelina bounces back and runs at Mr. Dangerous but he leaps into the air performing the splits and Angelina runs underneath him; Mr. Dangerous gets a bit excited that he somehow performed the splits that he forgets to bring his legs together and lands awkwardly on the mat.
West: From the sublime to the ridiculous by Mr. Dangerous.
Harris: That may just be a catchphrase for his career.
West: I’d say it’s more ridiculous to the extra ridiculous.
Mr. Dangerous gets to his feet holding his ‘junk’ but Angelina, showing no sympathy, drops him with a step-up shining wizard to the temple. She starts to stalk Mr. Dangerous and when he gets to his feet he is nailed with the Destiny Awaits (RKO). Angelina climbs to the top rope and connects with Written In The Stars (450 splash), hooking the legs after impact...
1 . . . 2 . . . 3
Winner: Angelina Quinn Angelina Quinn gets to her feet and celebrates on the turnbuckle to allow the audience a memento before heading back up the ramp. West: Angelina Quinn managing to avoid the ignominy of becoming one of Mr. Dangerous’ scalps.Harris: I think he likes to refer to them as ‘flakes’.West: Either way, Angelina is victorious here on Meltdown! We'll be right back!

We cut to the back, to an unmarked locker room door. Hannah Storm appears on camera and knocks twice, but does not wait for an answer before she comes in. She motions for the APW camera crew to follow her. Evan Envi, fully dressed to compete now is applying black tape to his wrists. He leans back in his chair and looks up at Hannah curiously. Evan: No coffee?Hannah: ...Surely you realize that it's not quite my job to carry your gear to your locker room, change your lightbulb, or fetch your coffee. My job is to interview. And if it's not too much to ask, I'd like to ask you about your match against Benny Horrowitz soon.Evan looks at Hannah with disinterest after the phrase "not quite my job..." but rolls his eyes back toward her and shrugs. Evan: I mean, what is there to say? He's been runnin' his mouth and I'm gonna shut him up tonight. Like... That's what everybody likes to say about me, right? That I run my mouth? That I'm toting an ego?Evan shrugs. Evan: Why don't I hear people bitching about Horrowitz, Hannah? Is it because people think he's a little more intimidating? Is it because they think he's better than me? Huh?Evan has a darker look in his eyes and is speaking in a tone-- a dialect-- that briefly deviates from the casual, smooth voice that we are used to hearing. Evan smiles for a moment before the same smile fades into a smirk; one that seems cold, and sinister. He points a finger at Hannah, shaking it for a second. One eyebrow arches in what could either be interpreted as amusement or accusation. Evan: Do you think he's better than me?Evan's smile disappears altogether. Hannah: ...I'm a reporter. I'm unbiased and even if I had an opinion, it would be unprofessional for me... t-to...Hannah trails off, realizing that Evan is laughing at her. He mockingly applauds. Evan: Reporter. Professionalism. That's great. They pay you not to have an opinion.Hannah: Something like that. There are several seconds that pass in this time frame. Someone just tuning in could even trick themselves into thinking that the scene is frozen in time if they weren't aware of what led to the tense standoff. Evan's face lacks emotion, and Hannah's is slowly but surely filling with fear. Her eyes widen and her mouth opens, her bottom lip shaking ever so slighly as she searches for the correct words in the situation. Evan: GET OUT OF MY ROOM!Evan lunges toward both Hannah and the camera man. Hannah gasps and stumbles backward, scrambling to get out of Envi's way. The camera man falls to the ground and Hannah stumbles, and falls over him. The lens captures the door slamming loudly. For several seconds, we are stuck on this shot as the crowd protests with a chorus of boos... Until we finally cut away. West: I can't believe that Johnny Diamond is going to allow Envi to push around Hannah like that! Harris: It's her fault, she didn't bring him his coffee like he requested!West: You're hopeless. Let's get to the ring for some more action!Paige: The following contest is scheduled for one fallThe lights go down in the arena and a red spot light spans all over the crowd as they boo loudly then red a red mist forms at the top of the ramp then red and white pyrotechnics blast of at the top of the stage. Weighing in at 245 pounds, YARMOUTHBoth men swaggers down to the ramp ignoring the fans and climb in to the ring with his face looking ice cold. The arena completely goes black and silent. The words "DEAR DIARY" appear on the jumbotron. The opening riff of "Writing on the Walls" blasts throughout the arena as some fans begin to cheer and others begin to jeer. Katie Rapture steps out onto the entrance ramp, motions to the entrance curtain, as Jake Venom steps out. Jake pauses for a second, pulls a pen from behind his ear, writes on his hand, and then runs down the ramp. Paige: And his opponent, being accompanied by Katie Rapture, weighing in at 212 pounds, JAKE….VENOM!As he reaches the ramp, Jake slides underneath the bottom rope on his belly. He rises to one knee, writes something else down on his hand, throws the pen into the crowd, and goes to his corner. Singles Match Yarmouth Vs Jake Venom The lock up and Yarmouth uses his strength to shove Jake down. They go for another lock up and Jake starts kicking Yarmouth in the legs then runs off the ropes and Yarmouth takes Jake down with a shoulder block. Yarmouth yells at Jake to come at him again. Jake runs off the ropes and this time, baseball slides under Yarmouth’s legs and then hits him with a standing dropkick that backs Yarmouth into the ropes. Jake throws Yarmouth into the ropes and hits him with a spinning heel kick, which takes Yarmouth off his feet. As Yarmouth gets to his feet, Jake runs to the ropes and Jason Royce grabs him foot. Royce backs away as Katie Rapture starts walking towards Jason. Jake turns and is met with a big boot to the face. Yarmouth covers but only gets a 2 count. Yarmouth lifts Jake up and throws him into the ropes and gives him a back body drop and goes for another cover 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . Not like anyone in this match is afraid of herJake rolls towards the ropes and Yarmouth puts Jake on his back, steps on his throat and holds the ropes as he’s choking him. The ref counts to 4 and Yarmouth steps off. He picks Jake up and slams him then runs off the ropes and drops an elbow drop onto the chest of Yarmouth. Yarmouth covers and Jake Kicks out. Yarmouth lifts Jake over his shoulder and runs towards the corner for the Snake eyes, but Jake slides down Yarmouth’s back and shoves Yarmouth chest first into the corner. We come back from break and "The Living Story" Jake Venom is just coming through the curtains after losing a hard fought match to Yarmouth. He crosses paths with Evan Envi on his way to the ring and the two brush shoulders sending Venom stumbling backwards. West: This doesn't look like it's going to end well for Venom, Dick!
Envi yells something towards Venom that can't be picked up by the microphones and shoves Venom in to the concrete wall. Venom doesn't look pleased and comes charing at Evan, who sidesteps Jake, and sends him headfirst in to the food table provided for the Meltdown staff. Harris: Come on! Not the bagels!
Envi grabs a steel chair from underneath one of the hospitality tables and wraps it around Venom's ankle. He flashes his trademark grin and stomps causing Venom to scream out in pain, leaving his ankle to flop around in between the chair. Evan prepares for a second attack on Venom's now-injured ankle but before he's able to finish the job, Sam Parker comes sprinting from what seems out of nowhere to chase Envi off. West: Good grief! I think Venom's ankle has been severed from his leg! Did you hear that crunch? Harris: Forget about Venom, I'm more worried about the bagels that I had been looking forward to all day. I can't believe this is happening! West: My guess is we won't be having Sam out here on commentary while he checks on Venom in the back! Harris: That's a shame -- I would have enjoyed some separation between the two of us for a little while. You're getting a little too attached to me. West: I don't know why I even bother. Let's get to the main event!Paige: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is the main event of the evening! Making his way to the ring first, hailing from Manhattan, New York and weighing in at 192 lbs., "The Sidewinder" Benny Horrowitz! AND THERE'S NO ANTIDOTE-DOTE-DOTE-DOTE.
The pounding basslines of Swedish House Mafia's "Antidote" hits the system and automatically the crowd know how to respond. Booing and jeering as “The Sidewinder” Benny Horrowitz makes his way out of the curtain is a unanimous response from the crowd. There's not a single supporter of the “Kung Do Killah” in sight as he makes his way down to the ring, bobbing his head to his theme music and scoffing at the fan members who hurl abuse at him. He climbs into the ring and although there's nobody walking down the ramp with him, you can see that there's already a number of goons armed with pipes and chains outside the ring waiting for Benny's opponent. Taking his place in the corner, Benny waits for his music to die down and the match to start. Paige: And his opponent, hailing from Hollywood, California, and weighing in at 212 lbs., Evan Envi!
The lights in our arena dim a considerable amount, shrouding a majority of the audience in complete darkness, aside from several warm-colored strobes moving throughout the arena as Mac Miller and Cam’Ron’s “Ignorant” begins to blare. ”You can’t believe it, it’s ridiculous, belligerent Oh my bad I’m just killin’ shit, I’m killin’ shit A girl a girl, a bitch a bitch, a bitch a bitch Smart dude, gettin’ ignorant, that’s ignorant…”Our lights brighten a bit as Harrison emerges from the back, the camera focused on his back at first. Wearing a hooded jacket, the letters “EH” are emblazoned in a blackladder cursive in large letters on the back. His hood is thrown up over his head, though he throws it back as he steps farther out onto the stage. As we switch views to the front, we see he has a mildly amused look on his face as he begins his descent down the ramp, toward the ring, refusing to make eye contact with any of the audience. ”Bein’ rich well that’s fun as hell, these bitches come but they under spells Yo Mr. Jobs you see I’m a Mac, but I’m rollin’ deep like Adele I’m Robert Downey Jr., you more like Steve Carell So get smart, no head starts, put a Lion on a Gazelle…”He ignores the small chants, cheers, and the occasional outstretched hand, all the way down to the bottom of the ramp. He looks straight up, toward the rafters, muttering something under his breath before hopping up, swiftly onto the ring apron and in a seamless motion up over the top rope and into the center of the ring. Even as Evan lands, he remains emotionless. He makes his way to the turnbuckles and climbs up to the second. ”You tryna to rhyme because you idolize but I design for myself But it’s hard to find these bars of mine, so Columbine your self I don’t hate ya bitch, just fakin’ rich, I get paper like RJ Camberidge I’m best friends with my banker shit, gave her fifty racks just to make a wish…”Evan, refuses to look at the audience, even as he stands atop the turnbuckles. His gaze is kept downward for several seconds before he finally slowly looks upward, a completely empty look upon his face. It is almost eerie, as he stares into-- perhaps through the camera, and through everybody looking back at him behind it. There is little story to be told on his face, besides the obvious lack of emotion behind his eyes. He finally rolls his eyes away from the camera before turning and jumping down off of the turnbuckles, stretching as he awaits action. West: I don't think Envi was ever going to get to the ring at that pace! Harris: I don't know if Horrowitz really wanted him to after the damage that he's caused this evening. I'm starting to enjoy this Evan Envi!Main Event:"The Sidewinder" Barry Horrowitz vs. Evan EnviRight as the bell rings, Envi runs in and catches Horrowitz with a quick Running Cross Body! As both men get up, Evan is quick to follow up with a couple of kicks to the chest of “The Sidewinder” before jumping up with a Spinning Wheel Kick that takes his opponent to the mat! Envi continues to press his advantage early in the match with a breakneck offense, and while Benny is quick, he is struggling to keep up with Evan Envi, who seems to be on a mission this evening! A turning point in the match comes as Envi has Horrowitz down on the mat, and goes for a Standing Moonsault, which Benny counters by putting his knees up, causing Envi's ribs to crash right into them! The fans boo “The Sidewinder” as he makes his way up to his feet, and slows the match down a bit by mounting Envi and pounding him with some hard shots to the face! He then pulls Evan up, and gives him a slow, deliberate Neck Breaker that gives Evan Envi time to think about the pain that's to come. Horrowitz takes his time between offensive moves, clubbing his opponent between each one, using his brain to his advantage and staying one step ahead of Envi. He gives Evan a particularly hard Butterfly Suplex, and goes for the cover,
1 . . . 2 . . . Envi kicks out!
West: “The Sidewinder” is really controling the tempo of this match, which one must do against Evan Envi! He’s shown tonight that once he gets moving, he’s hard to stop!
Harris: Unless you're rolling him over for the cover!
Benny pulls Evan back up, and beats him backwards into the corner, nailing him with rights and lefts while Evan tries to protect himself with his hands. Benny nails Envi with a hard punch that staggers the megastar in the corner! Horrowitz then takes a couple of steps back, and runs in for a clothesline, but Evan gets out of the way, and gets behind Horrowitz! The fans come alive as Evan uloads a flurry of kicks to the back of Benny, trapping him the corner! Evan then steps out onto the apron, and drags Horrowitz up the ropes with him until both men are on top, with “The Sidewinder's” back towards the ring. As they're both perched perilously up top, Evan grabs a hold of Benny's head, giving the megastar a couple of punches to the face before shoving him off the top rope! As Horrowitz crashes into the mat, Evan pulls off the most beautiful Moonsault you'll ever see, and pins Benny,
1 . . . 2 . . . Kick out from Horrowitz!
West: I’m thoroughly impressed with both men here in only their second Meltdown matches!
Harris: All I can think about are those bagels, dang’it!
Evan goes over to pick Horrowitz up off the mat but before he can, Benny reaches up and gives him a thumb to the eye, drawing boos and a warning from the ref! Benny heeds him no attention, kicking Envi in the gut, and pulling him in, lifting him up in Powerbomb position before walking over to the ropes and dumping Envi out to the arena floor!
West: That's just brutal! Even with the Kentucky mandated padding out there, getting tossed from the ring like that to the floor has got to hurt like heck!
Harris: Wait a second! Here comes Sam Parker from the back with that same chair that Envi used to damage Venom’s ankle with earlier!
Parker comes sprinting out from the back and reaches ringside right as Horrowitz jumps to the outside. However, before Parker can get his hands on Envi, the referee intercepts him and rips the chair from Parker’s hands and throws it down on the ground and points to the back. Envi takes a play from Horrowitz’s playbook and thumbs him in the eye. He grabs the chair that the referee threw on the ground and levels Horrowitz across the head and leaves him completely motionless on the outside floor. Parker is screaming for the referee to turn around but Envi cracks a smile and throws the chair away. He grabs Benny by the hair and rolls him underneath the bottom rope.
West: I can’t believe that the referee didn’t catch Envi dropping Horrowitz with the chair!
Harris: Parker’s an idiot, Shane! Why would he bring a chair to ringside to begin with?
Parker turns to head up the ramp while Envi is in the ring and has Horrowitz’s leg cradled and in a pinning situation:
1 . . . 2 . . . 3! DING! DING! DING! Paige: Here is your winner… Evan Envi! West: Absolutely despicable, Dick! Envi squeeked out a victory and it was at the hands of his Mayhem opponent Sam Parker! Harris: You live and learn, Shane!
Security comes down and continues to hold Parker away from the ring as Envi stares him down from the second turnbuckle. He motions around his waist and screams, “THE NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP IS MINE!” before the Meltdown logo flashes on the screen and the cameras fade out.
