APW officials are reporting today that one of their company's microphones was found lifeless earlier yesterday evening, the cause of which appeared to be by hanging with a rope. The coroner was able to confirm that the deceased microphone was the same one that Chris Hart used on the most previous Overdrive event to bash Delikado in the nose with. This tragedy comes less than 48 hours before Chris Hart and Delikado are set to do battle at Mayhem.
Officials were unable to get into contact with Delikado or Chris Hart, although it has been noted that a tweet was made on Twitter by Delikado days earlier quoted as saying, "And now we plot revenge heading into Mayhem. First toward the microphone that betrayed us. Then to Chris Hart and Amy Noble!" However, Deli Tee Vee spokesman, Jack Bauer-Norris, responded that the tweet was, "Totally taken out of context in its 140 character limit."
Mr. Bauer-Norris went on to say, "The Boss wishes to make it clear that though he harbored ill-feelings for the microphone that aided Chris Hart in his assault, he would never, EVER murder the microphone, and instead he believes it was a suicide born of guilt in microphone's choice to align with a pansy skirt-wearing-on-the-side home-wrecker like Canadian d-bag Hart over the mighty Delikado...as should everyone else. Wink, wink."
No further news has been heard regarding what will happen, although Delikado and Hart are still scheduled to compete at Mayhem. Microphone's burial is scheduled to take place at 10:00 PM this Sunday outside Steak 'n Shake.
