Show is in the books! Thanks to Kurt Noble, Michael Callahan, Anthony Bailey, and Phil Atken for helping write matches, and big thanks to Callahan, Bailey, Sally, Wolves, Rebel, Knuckles, TJ, and Kash for segs. Atken and Jules, I'm not sure if you helped with the segs you were involved in, so please just let me know if you were so you can get credit for the rankings.
Feel free to discuss the happenings of the show and to give constructive feedback.

First of all, Sally deserves to be congratulated for her victory. About fucking time she is back in the Big Title picture and I applaud this all day long. Great show, I love the back and forth of Farq and TJ and hope to see more from that. The opening segment was cool, minus me seeing Drake like he's stalking my dreams I liked how everything went down. Rebel on Asylum? Please tell me he's gonna make a Wrestling Run on the Violent Brand!! I'm pelvic thrusting right as I'm hearing myself type that. AWESOME!
Asylum is stacked now and I'd like to think I was apart of it's growth. Maybe not but I'm surely glad to be apart of this brand in the best eFed on the net. Knuckles, always a pleasure slapping you upside the dome. Great segment. Wonderful show.

Great opening promo. This is the first time I've actually listened to Schmidt's entrance music, and the moment Astley's voice kicked in, I fell in love with it lol... But I must say shocker to see Rebel on Asylum now. I wasn't sure where his character was gonna go direction-wise after T4TB, or if he was just gonna retire, or what... But seeing him here is fantastic. It's bittersweet since Asylum is so heel-heavy, but now I'm asking for a lot. Anyway, I liked Bailey's attempt at a huge celebration. It seems like something his character would do. I expected Kash, or maybe Callahan to interrupt, but I was pleasantly surprised to see Wolves come out and get in the new champ's face. I'm already loving the chemistry there and hope for Bailey v Wolves, or Talfourd v Wolves in the near future. (Talfourd's bit was classic, btw). Callahan was gold on the mic as usual, and it was interesting to see how frustrated his character got, just listening to Talfourd speak... I must say though, I'm excited for this tag match two weeks from now. The Knuckles segment made me chuckle, and the match afterward furthered the Atken/Knuckles rivalry, and I've been interested in it ever since I saw them go all-out on Asylum a few weeks back... They're actually the reason I started consistently reading the show! Great to see Hopkins on Asylum and I know he'll work his way to the top in good time. The dude's a beast from what I can tell, and he needs a good feud to get him going. Mike Morrison could be the person that he feuds with! Morrison is someone else that continuously impresses me, and I'd like to see him do a program with someone so he's more involved with Asylum instead of just another character on the show. Both of them have the potential to have a solid run at the top. Another strong showing by Sykes. The match itself didn't light the world on fire but it more than served its purpose. I was pulling for Atken here, mainly after seeing Knuckles win his match, but Sykes is pleasantly entertaining. I don't know why, but I feel that Sykes would stand out more if he had a valet of some sort-- someone to bounce his loud personality off of. TJ + Jules = Ratings. I dunno what it is about these two, but I'm intrigued. Everything Farquhar says is genius, and TJ is the perfect good guy for him to feud with. I really want to see them go at it in this Street Fight, and the promos leading up to it would be fantastic if they're anything like this. Glad to see one of the Meltdown guys continue a feud with a "top dog" on one of the A-shows. Glad to see Kash continuing this Season of JASON thing. I first read about it over on EFK when I had a match against him, and have tried to follow his RPs ever since... I hate to see my boy lose, but sadly it makes the angle so much more entertaining. I legitimately find myself wondering what Kash is gonna do to bounce back each week. TJ vs Wolves happened, and it was a nice little read. Glad to see TJ pick up the win for some fire against Farquhar, but this is detrimental for Wolves heading into a tag team main event two weeks from now. Hopefully he can bounce back from this and produce something epic. The main event was superbly written. Kash and Callahan brawling was great to see. Kash delivered on his promise to bring violence back to Asylum and keep the program from getting "soft." This goes completely against Callahan's character, and I'm hoping they finally have their one-on-one feud. The timing would be perfect. Huge congrats to Talfourd for picking up the win. I've always enjoyed the character and think she belongs in the main event right now. She'd be an entertaining World Champ... Eesh, three face champs in a row, though? Maybe Bailey will turn.

On a side note, I've used the Sparta Kick a few times in segments and matches when I've written my own matches. So now, officially I've added it to my "Game Changers" Move set that also includes the "Money Shot" rolling elbow. It's not call Sparta Kick though but rather what Callahan had Kash say during the Main Event, it's now the "Asylum Kick" and yes, it comes with a THIS IS ASYLUM before execution, check it out!

It was nice that Asylum was the brand to get post T4TB cycle going, and it didn't disappoint.
The opening segment was well-written. I'll concede that not all of it worked for me in the sense that it became a bit chaotic and completely lost its focus, e.g. it went from being a segment about Bailey's becoming the new world champion, to one about an Overdrive Megastar switching to Asylum. Don't get me wrong, everyone played their role well in the piece, but in the end it became a hype piece for the next show, rather than a focus on the World Title. Granted this is just my view, but that opening slot should have been about Bailey and the World Title, with any interaction coming from those competing in the ME to really sell that one.
Nevertheless, Johnny Rebel coming to Asylum is big news. That did deserve a spot, maybe this was the best way to introduce that. *shrugs*
The Knuckles segment was a nice bit of light relief. I like that self-deprecating spin Knucks put on taking his 100th loss. I agree with Evan Envi, a feud with Atken will be good for Knuckles, and visa versa. I've worked with Atken and he is a top guy to work and have fun with, plus his character works as a great foil.
On the segments involving Jules the credit is really due to Atken and TJ since both these guys did the leg work and I just add my touches here and there. Like I said, Atken is always a dream to work with and I know one day Jules v Atken II will happen. I'm excited about the TJ stuff as I've been looking for an orthodox face to work with since coming to APW. I think already we've created some chemistry, so with some assistance from the staff *nudge, nudge, wink, wink* we will get to see that Streetfight.
Quality matches written throughout as always, and a special thanks to Callahan for that ME and for giving Farq a good showing. I'm sure I'm not getting ahead of myself by saying that ME was worthy of a PPV main event and I think the RPs we all put out reflected that. Congrats to Sally, I considered her the de facto #1 contender after T4TB so the result seems just to me.
Sally v Bailey is probably the most unorthodox of the possible matches we could have seen, but it certainly offers us the more intriguing storyline.
Well done to Biggs and everyone who roleplayed, wrote matches or segments to put this one together.

Agh, I'm such a screw up. Didn't send this to Biggs like I thought, only sent it to Jules. Me and Jules worked on this for the show and I don't want to see it just go to waste so I thought the best place to put it was in here. ARGH!
Sorry about this Jules, normally I always double check to make sure I've done the job after the one incident where I wrote and forgot to send in a match but just after I hit send, Knuckles was talking to me about his segment and it must've slipped my mind.

Nailz: Well fans, we get to take a little break right now as we hand it over to... for lack of a better term... our “broadcast partner” Phil Atken and another edition of Atken's Asylum! I'm amazed he still has this show the way he's been acting tonight.
Beckett: The way things are going for Phil, this is going to be his only source of income soon enough. Be nice to him!
The cameras cut over to the side of the entrance way where once again the Atken's Asylum set is in full swing. As always, standing next to Phil's dear old hostin' chair is his personal Chief of Security, Hank once again wearing a black t-shirt emblazoned with “HANK” on the front of it. Sitting on the table between the host and guest chairs is a small Union Flag.
The lights in the arena begin to dim and in their place, spotlights begin to fly about the arena. As the spotlights hover over the crowd, we hear the dulcet tones of Dirk Dickwood.
Dickwood: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Atken's Asylum! The Official Wrestling Chat Show of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the London 2012 Olympics. Please, get up off your swollen fat feet and welcome a gold medallist in life itself, the host of this little soiree, move over Michael Flatley, we have a new Lord of the Dance and he is Mr. Phil Atken!
The spotlights, as they are often found to do, join together at the top of the entrance way as “Heavyweight Champion of the World” begins to play. The curtains are pulled back and out walks a besuited Phil Atken with a little Union Flag hankie in his top pocket. Phil gives the crowd a little bit of a royal wave and a bow from the top of the entrance way, the crowd don't exactly seem overly happy with this and let it be known. Phil shrugs it off and heads over past dear old Hank and into his hosting chair. Before he sits down, he grabs the microphone sitting in front of him.
Atken: You know, it gives me great pleasure to stand here today in Salt Lake City.
The crowd give a brief cheer at the mention of their city.
Atken: Home of Mormonism and the Olympics that no one ever cares about. Don't fret though! A real show is here now! Something that can give this backward assed state something to finally be proud of. You can pass it on to your grandchildren that you were there the day that the all-conquering hero, Phil Atken, finally came to town! You will be able to pass down to the next generation that you were there when Johnny Sykes was finally put to bed. When the all conquering Phil Atken finally stopped his pranking regime!
The crowd's reaction swiftly turns in the opposite direction but Phil doesn't seem to pay much mind of their actions.
Atken: Well, welcome once again to Atken's Asylum, my little slice of this whole shebang. Now, we're just coming off the back of the big Test for the Best pay per view and may I say... more like Test for the Rest... am I right?
Suddenly the Megatron begins to flash with the words “laughter and applause” and faux-laughter begins to play over the speakers. The camera cuts to Phil laughing to himself and wiping a tear from his eye at his own “joke”. The crowds booing eventually outpaces the loudspeakers own laughter.
Atken: But seriously folks, I've got one hell of a show lined up for you tonight because I've managed to bag myself quite the guest. You see, this show would not have existed if it wasn't for my guest tonight. He put me through a great deal of pain so I could be reborn and for that I owe him my eternal gratitude. So please join me in welcome Asylum's very own Tap Out Champion...
The chorus of boos begins to get greater and greater.
Atken: ...and the next World Heavyweight Champion... JULIUS! FARQUHAR!
Elgar's "Pomp and Circumstance March no.1 in D" begins to play as out from the back walks to immaculately dress Farquhar. Atken's runs over to Farquhar in an attempt to hug him but Farquhar shrugs it off and marches over to his chair. Atken gestures for Julius to sit down, which he gladly does.
Atken: First of all Julius, I really must thank you. I'm being completely sincere, without you. Without your path of righteousness, I would have never been given my own show. I would have this big ole lug here to take care of me. It's all down to you Jules, I hope you don't mind me calling you that because that's what I'm going to do anyway.
Farquhar: You are more than welcome Philip. Every conqueror needs to leave behind a testimony, and the magnificence and the glory of the Quintessentially English Empire is testified in no louder terms that your phoenix-like rise from the ashes, or should I see tea leaves.
Julius chuckles to himself; nobody else does.
Farquhar: Yes, Mr. Phil Atken here can tell you all about the restorative power of tea, because after I threw him in to a bathtub full of it at Rasslemania he has managed to raise his importance to the cause around here above the level of a doorstop. Something he could not boast before.
Phil makes a little bit of a frowny face as he flips through his cards.
Atken: Now, obviously I have to congratulate you on the big Tap Out Title win, certainly a big win for you, tearing down that no good Anton Du Bailey and his lackluster submission talents. Now, first thing is first, how did that sexy turkey costume feel? Was it liberating?
There is some tittering going on in the crowd as Farquhar raises the microphone to his lips, he glares a hole through the nearby crowd before answering.
Farquhar: Hmmm, yes, like a typical Scotchman, you seem very proud of small and un-noteworthy victories. To answer a more important question which you did not ask, it just proved to the world that no matter what the evil mind of Reginald Schmidt can concoct to stop my march to dominance, the Quintessentially English spirit always prevails.
Again, Phil rather than respond the Farquhar flips through his pile of cards, as if he had something else on his mind.
Atken: Now of course, you've moved on beyond that horrific affair and tonight may be the biggest night in your career. Now in my estimation, you've got this one in the bag. You've beat that ragamuffin... is that the correct term?
Farquhar: Judging by his last encounter with yours truly, I would say he goes by the name 'tap dancer'.
Julius chuckles to himself again; Atken slowly shakes his head.
Atken: Well you've beat him already. Surely all you need to do now is get through this rather tough field and you've got the title in your hands.
Farquhar: Tough field it may be, but it does not require a genius to point out two crucial points. I am the only Quintessentially English wrestler, not just in the match, but in the world; second, I am not just the only wrestler in that match to have beaten Anthony Bailey, I am the only wrestler that has made him tap like Shirley Temple.
Julius smiles with self-satisfaction.
Atken: Now of course, once you win that big ole belt, you must have a challenger in mind, do you not?
Farquhar: It would take wrestler of genuine magnificence of spirit to be able to step inside the ring with a Quintessentially English World Champion.
Atken begins to tug on his shirt collar in a little sign of nervousness. He almost looks sheepish when he utters his next sentence.
Atken: Well, I mean... I think I'd make a pretty good contender.
The boos in response to this almost cause the arena to vibrate; Julius looks at Atken, but cannot suppress a laughter.
Farquhar: You?
Julius breaks into laughter again.
Farquhar: I know Scotchmen are a funny lot with all that talk of independence and national pride, but let us be serious Philip for a moment: if I ever need someone to strain my tea bag I know where I can find you.
Phil once again looks down at his cards and begins to casually flip through them. This time however, he does something different, he makes a subtle nod to his own Chief of Security. Hank is about to rush over to Julius but the Tap Out Champion has already noticed the nod.
Hank begins to stalk towards Julius and Julius tries to talk him down with the promise of the best cup of tea he'll ever have the privilege of drinking. Phil remains in his seat, enjoying the situation that has been put before him.
Nailz: You have to expect that Julius Farquhar saw this coming. It's the exact same stunt he pulled with Johnny Knuckles. This chat show is nothing more than a trap!
Beckett: Julius better find a way out of this situation, he's got to become our first Quintessentially English Number One Contender!
Julius quickly scans his surroundings as he continues to throw out all manner of tea related promises to Hank. Hank however continues to stalk towards him. Suddenly Hank sprints towards Julius, who has no other option than to hop the rails and escape through the crowd. Julius reaches Olympic-style speeds as he runs through the crowd, surviving to fight another day.
Beckett: It just goes to show you that Julius Farquhar is a lot smarter than Johnny Knuckles and that's exactly why later tonight he's going to be the next number one contender!
Nailz: That remains to be seen.

He just doesn't know when to stop that damn scamp, he's getting ever closer to finding himself in exile. Thanks Biggs, it's appreciated, thought it was a really good segment thanks to Jules input. So show thoughts... - Quite a big named opener but I have to agree that it all seemed it was sort of at cross purposes, it done a good job of introducing Wolves to the Asylum audience and certainly it's great to see Rebel on the show but it felt liked some that could've fit more... later on in the show, or separated out a bit. Can't complain about the content though, if the placement was a bit iffy in my opinion, the content certainly made up for it. Everyone played their parts excellently and we've now god a big tag match next week to look forward to. - With Rebel added to an already stacked Asylum I don't even know why I should bother anymore - Got to see the Knuckles segment before hand but I love Knuckles ability to just take it on the chin and keep rolling. Funny stuff here and I have to thank Knuckles for making the suggestion to keep things going between Atken and Knuckles, always good to have a feud to keep things flowing and I think we're going to have a great one. Strong win for Knuckles here too. - Silly Hopkins worrying about losing this match due to missing a second RP then rolling out victorious. I did think his was certainly the stronger RP between him and Morrison so I well deserved win for Jair here. - Another week, another loss. I think I'm going to throw my own party in a few weeks time . Congrats to Sykes, I think he kinda lost his way with Test for the Best, I think a few people have just because the focus is so much on that tournament everything else is on the back burner but I think he's got the momentum back that he needs. Almost certain he'll be gunning for one of 'em shiny belt things at Shockwave and if he does it will be deservingly so. - TJ and Farq should be a good one, TJ's got a great guy to work with here, I had as much fun working with him as he did working with me. He's great to bounce ideas off of and I think this gives TJ a great chance to shine on Asylum right off the bat. Coming to an RP battle, it's going be a tough one but it's the great beginnings of a feud, long may it continue! - I think we're going to see a lot more frustration from Kash in the coming weeks and I think that's a good thing. Kash is sometimes a little bit too hard on himself I think but if he uses that to motivate himself in RPs and segments, that's deadly. - Good welcome match for TJ and Wolves. Asylum just keeps on adding strong players and I think TJ's win certainly gives him a lot to work with as he continues feuding with Jules. It also gives Wolves motivation not to show himself up in the tag next week and I think that's Wolves will give Sally and Bailey quite the challenge, especially working with Callahan. - Can't say I'm surprised at the result of the main event. Sally has been out of the WHC scene for a while, what with her jaunt over to Overdrive for a while. I'd hate to be Biggs when it comes down to juding Bailey and Sally but then, I'd hate to be Biggs judging most of the matches on Asylum, JAYSIUS. Callahan does an excellent job writing this match. He done everyone justice and you can't say fairer than that. Fun show off the back of the PPV, let's keep it rolling!

Farq, thank you for the feedback but I wanted to give the reasons as to why the opening went down the way that it did.
It was my idea to have Wolves come out and interrupt me. Why? Because outside of Callahan, you Farq, and now Rebel, Asylum is greatly lacking heels so what better way for the only new heel being drafted to the brand from Meltdown to make a big impact with a credible introduction by trash talking the World Champion? Wolves still has to pay his dues and work his way up the ranks so to speak (He'll do this by jobbing to Mr. Dangerous a few times lol jk), but the segment definitely helped set him up for a good run on Asylum because we badly need heels. Dillinger is gone, Ingram has talked about taking a break, Knuckles recently turned face, and Morrison and Atken are technically tweeners. So yeah, the Wolves thing needed to happen IMO.
Sally being involved made sense since she and I have been running segments together on Asylum ever since she came back. Callahan had to be involved because he's tried to stop me from winning the World Title twice so it was only right that he crash my World Title celebration, the very thing he has been trying to prevent the entire time.
Rebel getting involved was his idea and it made sense. For the Anthony Bailey historians out there who have followed my career here, I made my debut against Johnny Rebel and we trash talked the mess out of each other in our promos. It was fun and great! So given our history, him being involved also made perfect sense.
I didn't want the segment to be long and drawn out, but I did want it to serve its purpose. Yes, it was technically my time to celebrate but its true purpose was to set Wolves up for a good run, continue the storylines I have already had with Sally and Callahan, and reintroduce my first true rival Johnny Rebel back into the picture.
Oh and the Rebel thing was a surprise for everybody, even the people involved in the segment. I'm glad we pulled that one off Johnny!
And the rest of the show was great as well. If Asylum wasn't taken serious before last night, follks had better keep their eyes peeled. We have some great things on the way!

I loved the Opening Segment so no need to explain yourself Bailey. Opinions come and go but your reign will depend on how well you perform and thus far, you've done extremely well as ass kissin..I mean holding your own. Haha!
