Last weeks matchup with the, "Soul of Philly", TJ did not go so well. Although he started the match strong, it was TJ who got the better end of the deal. He won his going away match, despite everything Dante tried in the match. If he didn't have respect for TJ before, he did now. That was mostly due to the fact that even though he won, he showed some class. In the end, it was the respect that Dante fought so hard for in this match. And if he did not gain anything else, he earned respect. When he arrived in the lockeroom after his hard fought loss, he was angry at all. Instead, he was just waiting for the time to strike again. He was going to wait for his opportunity to arise again. He was waiting to say, "Now its my time...and its okay". His head wasn't hung in defeat. As a matter of fact, a small chuckle escaped his lips. Why? Because he knew next week was going to be a whole 'nother ball game. This loss didn't rob him. If anything, he gained from this. Everyone knows the saying what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, well, this loss onlt made him stronger. Everyone tastes defeat, but its the champions who bucks up and says, "I will rise again". Dante...was going to act as such. He wasn't going to let this loss rob him of momentum, no. He was going to take from this match and improve his game. It was his second match anyway, there was alot of time to step up and stand up to the rest of the Meltdown roster. This was all last week. Time to move on.
The scene opens up in the inside of an aircraft. As the camera moves around it finally sets its sights on the Dark Prince of Awesome. With the camera on him, he turns his attention towards the camera. Dante is dressed in black skydiving gear. The straps of the parachute can be seen on his shoulders. It was pretty loud inside, so he would have to talk loudly in order for everyone to hear him. As he prepares to address the camera, he can be seen talking to someone across from him, hidden from the camera. After talking for a few seonds, he shifts his attention towards the camera.
"Whats up everybody. I'm Dante and I have just recieved some news, via text message. It seems that today on Meltdown I'm going to be competing against the entire Meltdown roster in an over the top battle royal. To my understanding, this match is going to see who is going to be the face of Meltdown. I'm going to be in the ring with eleven other people in order to recieve a golden ticket, which is going to grant the winner a chance to a title match."
Dante pauses for abit. He then looks outside the window as if to see whats outside. In actuality however, he was thinking about how the battle royal was going to play out. He going to give his thoughts about what he felt. All of his competitos were people he have not had the opportunity to square off against, so this was going to be stepping into uncharted territory.
"It seems I'm going to be in the ring with entirely new competitors. I haven't had the chance to step in the ring against any one of my opponents tonight. It means I'm going to have to adapt out there. That doesn't mean I have not done my homework though. Each of these guys I'm going against have alot of things to watch out for. MOST of these guys are Main Eventers for Meltdown. Me being in this match has got to speak volumes huh."
Dante pauses to look outside again. He seems to be interested in something out there. The camera doesn't move. It only stays focused on him.
"Listen, I've heard everything you guys had to say. All of them had very bad remarks about the way I dress. I must say, all of them said the same thing over and over. Same lame jokes, different faces. The reason I brought this up because there was something interesting about it. It seemed that all the onces who were insulting me were the guys who considered themselves legends. Shane Borderland, Michael Lively just to name two. This next line I'm gonna say sums my feelings to all your statements. It bothers me when the gods get to acting like the broads. You heard me? Again, those were just two names who I happened to just remember because their comments stood out so much. They copied each other, but those words coming from the "Hall of Shame" wrestlers were appalling. I know there are more of you in the match, but I'm not going to be a bitch and trash talk you guys because thats not me."
Dante then shits his eyes from the camera to the aforementioned guys. He engages in a small conversation. They began speaking low so that the camera doesn't pick up what they say. The camera only sees Dante moving his lips. Dante would chuckle after a few minutes of talking. He looks outside the window again and then turn his attention back like before.
"Here is what I'm gonna do. I'm going to throw all of you guys over the top rope. Some of you may eliminate each other but who cares. Moving on, I'm going to win the battle royal and get the "Golden Ticket". I am then going to use said Ticket and the North American champ isn't going to be too happy with me."
Dante then turns his attention to the guys and nod.
"Okay, it seems its time to go. When I step into the ring with those eleven other competitors, I'm going to give it my all and do my damnest to come out on top."
With that, the session was over. We then see Dante get up and open the door located right beside him. As he gets up, the camera goes and gets right on the side in Dante's face. Turning to the camera and smiling, he says goodbye. Within a moments notice, he jumps out of the plane. As the camera looks down at a descending Dante, his aforementioned parachute comes right out. The parachute reads, "THE GOLDEN TICKET IS MINE !", in bold visible black letters. When Dante is finally out of view, the scene fades to black.
