As the scene slowly comes on we are standing in front of a apartment complex. Shane Borderland is seen leaning against a fence with his friend Eric Jackson beside him. Shane is just staring towards one apartment, while Eric stands there looking around and he takes a sip of his Monster energy drink. Eric lowers the can from his mouth and looks at Shane.
.:Eric Jackson:.
Why are we here in this apartment complex Shane?
.:Shane Borderland:.
This is where it all started Eric.
.:Eric Jackson:.
What started?
.:Shane Borderland:.
This is where i was born. This is where i grew up. In that apartment right over there.
Shane points towards one of the apartment buildings.
.:Eric Jackson:.
Wow man, i didnt know.

Yea, i figured since we was coming to my hometown, i would take a second to drop by. I wanted to see if anything has changed since i have been gone. But it looks exactly the same way. This is my stomping grounds. There is nothing about this place that i dont know. I have been everywhere in San Diego.

I see, well you should know these parts pretty good, since this is where you grew up. I remember back home, there wasnt a place that i didnt go.

Exactly, the only thing that i hate right now is looking up at that exact same apartment. Every time i do, i see my mom standing in the door way, yelling for me.
Eric glances over at Shane and see’s a small tear slowly going down the side of his cheek.

Shane slowly walks away from the fence as he finishes his last statement. Eric just looks at him as he is walking towards his car.
We are outside of the Balboa Stadium as we see Shane Borderland’s 2012 Black GMC Yukon pull up into the parking lot. Both windows are down and we hear the sounds of “Eye of the Tiger” coming from the vehicle. Both doors swing wide open and we see Eric Jackson in a jogging suit. He runs to the front of the car and is met by Shane Borderland. He is wearing a black cut off shirt, shorts, and a pair of Reebok’s. Eric is throwing up some hand gestures and yelling at Borderland. Borderland takes off running, throwing jabs and juking. Eric is right beside him every step that he takes. They come up to the stadium and both men raise their arms in the air. Both men jump at the same time and give each other a high five in the air. Shane looks at Eric with a smile on his face.
.:Shane Borderland:.
I’ve always wanted to do that.
.:Eric Jackson:.
Yea i know. thats all i heard about when you heard Meltdown was being held here.
Borderland grins.
.:Eric Jackson:.

Eric takes of running back towards the vehicle. He runs to the drivers side and he hops in, rolling the windows up. He then shuts the car off and hops out, closing the drivers side door. He walks around the vehicle and closes the passenger’s side door as well. He then takes off jogging towards Borderland. He meets Borderland about ten feet away from the door.

So thats what it felt like being Rocky himself.

Shane cocks an eyebrow at Eric.

Eric laughs as both men walk towards the door to the stadium. When they get in the stadium, they walk over to this one certain wall. It shows pictures of the glory days of the Balboa Stadium.

You know, being a kid in San Diego was kind of rough. A lot of bad things happen in California.

Thats just not here, its everywhere man.

I know, but you really want to be somebody to come out alive. There is so many gangs, killings, anything you can think of. It happens every hour of every day down here. But as a kid, i never got the chance to come here. I always wanted to though. I love looking at the old memories of places like this. Especially since its the place i grew up at.
Shane and Eric continue walking through the stadium looking at the history of the Balboa Stadium.

So what have you planned to do?

I plan on taking over the world, like i always plan.

I know, geez have a sense of humor. Well i do have a good opponent on my hands here. I mean Yarmouth is improving with every match he gets in. I have seen him slowly makes his way to where he is now. He is a hard working young man and he is getting recognized because of it.

You are right about that. He has came along way to where he is now. He is a tough competitor and he is looking for his next big win. If your not careful, it could be you.

Listen you meat head, Yarmouth is a damn good victim for me. Dont get me wrong, he has proven me wrong before. I figured he would lose some matches, but he came out victorious. Good for him, i like seeing new talent rise. But right now im in my prime and i have some stuff to prove also, exactly like he does. He wants the same thing that everyone else wants, but in this match. I dont think he is going to get what he wants. He is going to get what he deserves. I know in the back of his head that he thinks he is better than me and he is going to pull off the victory. Well i just dont see that happening, not now, not tomorrow, not anytime soon. It would take a miracle for this kid to beat me. He is doing well for himself, but not well enough to take me out.

Im with you, i see him maybe becoming one of the best Meltdown has to offer. But he is going to get demolished when he steps into the ring with you. Plus he might be a little rusty from being off a couple of weeks.

Ohh yea, that is right. But see Yarmouth is the type of guy that might be off, but he will stay on his toes. Doesnt matter what the problem is, he is still focusing on his job. Thats what it takes to become successful in this business. Thats what i like most about him. By the way, sorry for the loss in your family, i truly am. I know how hard it is to lose someone you truly love.

Death is the most fearsome thing that life has to offer. I know exactly what your going through Yarmouth. Im just glad to see you back in action. It just sucks that your against me. See i watched you and i began to like your aggression for the game. But when we step into that ring, all will be lost. I will be the predator and your my prey. Im the king of the jungle, while your a bottom feeder of the ocean. You have hope in the APW Yarmouth, just not against me. Sometimes to me you seem like your on your A game, but then you fall. I mean i know everyone has their ups and downs, but you just. I dont know Yarmouth, its like you lose focus on what your doing then all of a sudden you begin to tremble at everything. To me i see you being top notch in APW, but you have to remain focused all the time, not just most of the time. The reason i am saying this is because your not that bad at all. I hate seeing wrestlers like you, working their ass off and not getting know where. But just because i said that doesnt mean that i am going to play nicely. Your in my yard Yarmouth. So i will do everything possible for me to get the three count. Everyone is going to be behind me Yarmouth. They will be looking at you with a disgusting look on their face as you step into the ring. She looks towards them, but doesnt show them any sign of acknowledging them. Shane has a huge grin that comes across his face as he begins walking.

The girl swings back around and gives a evil stare at the two before she stomps off. Borderland shakes his head.

So im not treating this match like any other match. he will still get his ass kicked like i have been doing. He just needs to pray that i dont WIDE FUCKIN’ OPEN on him. As a matter of fact, i probably will anyways. He doesnt deserve good treatment. After all he is my opponent and I do not let up for no one. Plus im in my hometown, so i know definitely that there will be no mercy showed here. I have to show my true fans what im about in person. They pay to see me whoop some ass and they will get a whole case of whoop ass. So im not going to let up on this guy, im going to show him what the definition of perfection really is. He really has no idea what he is up against. He may think that he has faced some tough opponents before. But when he steps foot into MY PLAYGROUND, he will know that he has entered the seventh circle of hell. So Yarmouth, be prepared for the worst, because thats all thats going to happen for you.
