APW big brother? (Back up replacement players?)

[Level-Two]

Hey guys. Just taking a tally on who/how many people would be interested in playing a game on here.

It's similar to the survivor game Jeff hosted many months ago - the format will carry the game over for at least a month but should wrap up under two.

I'd be looking to start it after Shockwave.

What is Big Brother?

In short, each week (14-16) house guests compete for HoH (head of house hold). The person that wins this power is safe for the week and has the duty to nominate two houseguests for eviction.

Person 1 + Person 2 nominated

A second competition during the week will be for the PoV (power of veto). The HoH and two nominees automatically play in the competition - as well as three other houseguests drawn by random choice.

The winner of the PoV can then remove himself/herself as a nomination if they have been nominated OR they can save one of the two nominees.

Person 1 + Person 2 = Person 2 saved

The HoH must then name the replacement (under no circumstance can he/she name the winner of the PoV as a replacement)

From there the remaining houseguests vote on which of the two nominees they want to save. The two nominees and the HoH cannot vote (unless the HoH needs to break a tie). The player with the highest vote count will be EVICTED from the game.

That's the short of it. If I get at least 12 players interested, it's a go.

The competitions won't be a complete waste of time - and you'll have 24 hours to complete them, every time. Activity wise, it's not required to communicate every single day but checking in and making sure your ass isn't on the line isn't a bad idea, either.

I'll get to the rules if we actually play but the only pre-emptive one is much like Mafia - you CANNOT talk about the game outside the designated spots where the game will be played.

Ya know, I was toying with the idea of seeing if anyone was interested in a game based around "The Glass House," a similar show that's just finishing up its first season in a few weeks.

I'd need to have an idea of what the competitions were, as that'd be what makes or breaks the game, but that said, I'd probably participate.

Yeah, glass house is pretty much big brother Jr - there's been a lawsuit over them copying the game, lol.

If interested, I could always use a cohost.

And trust me, I've played games like this myself and the competitions sucked ass. Figured I'd have to do it myself if I wanted it done right. ;D

Those are just some of them. There will be quite a few question challenges under different formats but will be done so everyone has a chance to win because it won't be about the show... but the actual game.

Honestly, I doubt the judge even knew fuck all about reality television to begin with.

Survivor and Big Brother have similarities at it's foundation but there two different shows.

Glass House is literally Big Brother's carbon copy, nearly to a T.

The half ass anology I can come up with is like this: Survivor is like a genre of music - big brother is a song within the genre - and glass house is literally a poorly done cover of the original song.

The judge is an idiot. Not that I care. Big Brother is literally the only show I watch on TV (more like internet now).

It's not like I have a tough match at Shockwave or anything.....only against the best rper in APW for the Undisputed Championship that fulfills a quest started over 19 months ago.... you know, small potatoes.
