One of the questions buzzing around the APW message boards after the chaotic happenings of last Monday's APW Overdrive is simply this:
"Who was that hooded woman with Doctor Phate?"
As small of a thing as it seems to be no one knows who this woman is and what her relationship with Doctor Phate is. All we know is that she dresses exactly like Phate and seems to hang on his every word. Her face was hidden all night due to wearing a rather large black hooded sweatshirt and she seems to possibly have Phate's messed up sense of humor.
Even though she got involved in Monday's hectic main event when she made an attempt to smack APW World Champion Kenny Lambardo with a steel chair her face was never revealed. APW Champion Kenny Lambardo saw her face when he confiscated the chair from her...but he declined to comment on the situation, his face losing all its color when asked about it! Rumor has it that Twister possibly saw her face as well - but he declined to comment on the situation as well, turning pale as a ghost when asked!
There's still no clues as to who she is but APW's broadcast team of Johnny Chase and Darren Harvey both agreed that when Phate let the woman finish his back-and-forth jawjacking session with Matt Metal on Monday's Overdrive that the voice sounded a bit too familiar.
