- Great to see Phil Atken pick up a huge victory over Borderland, and pick-up a little momentum heading in to the Extreme Elimination Chamber match. Atken is a guy that has put in some serious work in the APW, and I'm glad to see his persistence pay off. He always puts out entertaining work, has kept the OOC community flowing and provided feedback that has helped numerous people improve. A serious candidate to win the World Heavyweight Championship at ONIH.
- Quick, effective spot with Knuckles there. I've always imagined JK as someone who could fly off the handle at any moment and for any reason, and this segment helped further that in my mind.
- I hope I did Sally justice on my quick/short segment. I try to have fun with Rebel and break from the serious heel which seem to saturate the e-fedding community. I was trying to convey the idea that Rebel would persuade every member of the EEC match to "partner" with him...kind of like a bad alliance in the Survivor game show. Sally is quick to see the breakdown in his thought process and crush him like a bug inside the EEC.
- I'm confused by the European Invasion breakdown so soon. Even if they weren't competing as a team, it seems silly to join forces, only to go their separate ways a few weeks down the road. Maybe we're headed to a Yarmouth/Raab feud, but if not, I'm a little disappointed at the team disappearing so quickly. On the flipside, another solid Yarmouth promo, from the hardest working man in APW. He's improved so much since he first started on Overdrive several months ago and I'm glad he's found a niche.
- Speaking of which, Yarmouth hangs with Knuckles in a no-contest, which seemed to be the theme of the evening. A good match, with back and forth action, that furthered Knuckles storyline and made Yarmouth look strong in the process.
- Lots of storylines involving the megastars involved with EEC. I like that Bailey and Callahan have been running their story for several months and it's all kind of coming to a head now. Bailey's story involving his uncle, and Callahan being the one responsible for getting him out of jail is the type of story puts Asylum over the edge. Fantastic continuity and something that gives both guys some background for a solid effort at ONIH. Hats off to both of you for working through that!
- I've been a big fan of TJ since his Meltdown days, and I'm glad he's firmly planted his feet on the Asylum roster. Farquhar is the perfect compliment to someone like TJ, and can't wait to see what these guys put together at ONIH. The mix of the two megastars make for a great battle...the brawn of TJ vs. the snarky, yet brainy, Farquhar.
- Thanks to whoever wrote the Rebel/Callahan match. It was really well done, and glad to escape with a no-contest rather than a loss. I've admired Callahan's work since he's come to the APW and it's no easy task going up against the "American Hero!" I'm going to wager that this won't be the last time the two of us will be in the ring against one another, and looking forward to another round at ONIH.
- Can I just say that I'm loving the new Jason Kash personality? The drug touting loudmouth always had a hint of believability issues...but the focused, driven by violence Kash is making me a believer. I get the sense that Kash wants to really rip the head off of his opponent, Sykes, and then poop down his throat. It's believable, and teeters on psychopathic. Well done on adding another level to an already solid character...a change that I think will truly push Kash back up to the top of the ladder sooner rather than later.
- Good three way match with Faruquhar, Raab and Hopkins. Nothing to add here except for a tip of the cap to Jules for another great effort this week.
- Surprised to see a no-contest between Bailey and Sally here...as Bailey has been on the end of a few losing matches lately (you're welcome). I would have liked to see Bailey come out on top with a big win and heading to ONIH with some momentum, but, I also know how hard it is to judge a match like this with both characters at the top of their game. A solid segment before the match really added a little extra drama that pushed the match over the edge.
- Sick main event, with Kash continuing a tear through the APW roster. Well done there!
- If this was a go-home show, there would have been a little bit missing, but with an additional show on the horizon, and a chance to tie up some loose ends, should be a good way to head in to a PPV. Thanks to the match writers, Biggs, and those who sent in segments to make for a fantastic show! You guys rock.

Indeed! A great win for Atken to make sure that, IC-wise, everyone would be talking about him. OOC-wise, there's so much in it to get into a promo that I'm now afraid of how good Atken will be come ONiH. What a great reward for a guy who, as has been said, puts in so much effort and work. Well done!
Lots of segments. So ... much ... segmenting! But I liked it. I think it felt more real. What made it work was that there's so much intrigue going on with all these chamber participants. It adds a lot of depth to the match itself, but also the shows and the matches this week. If it wasn't for the segments, I don't think I'd have been as happy with the results. One actual finish and two draws from the three beat the clocks? But with the segments, I actually enjoyed that as the finish. You've got all these people playing mind games and planning tactics that leaves us wondering what's going to happen ... and now the results back that up. Indeed, the only person not playing some sort of mind game is Atken and he's the guy who got the win.
Watch out Atken, you're on the verge of becoming the fan's favourite haha!
Now, as for the rest of the show ...
Main event was quite long and a good match. Like I said last week:
But I'm willing to waive that as it was a title match.
No matches were noticeably bad ... except mine that I forgot to do any commentary for! Damn ...
Don't know who wrote it, but the triple threat was really neat. It's stuck out the most, too. It should help the new guys to really find some solid grounds to base their Asylum run on in the coming weeks.
Segments. A lot but all good. Julius' sticks out again. I don't know why, but I've really come around to them. I don't know if you're been working hard at improving them or maybe because I didn't pay them enough attention originally, but I have been enjoying this arc very much.
Goes for TJ's and Julius too.
Kash's - substantive, but really helped the character. Love the new direction like I said last week. Can't wait to see how it ends soon.
That's about all I can say at the moment. If anything comes up, I'll be sure to add in on it.

@sally: I made the Main Event and looked to make it PPV quality as well as I could. Not only was it a Title Match but a Caged Ladder Match which to my knowledge is another First in APW. Just thought Asylum deserved the style of match and the spotlight it hopefully gave the match. But thanks for the feedback thus far.
Asylum Feedback:
Firstly, the opener was probably the best Opener Asylum has had in a long time, if not period. I know Borderland is down on himself as of late but don't be ashamed of losing a good and entertaining contest because both of you put in work for the rps and the match showed it.
Knuckles crying about referees shouldn't surprise me but it does. For 5 of the 6 years I've been around the character, he was always tough guy based. Italian Hitman like and it worked but seeing "Benoit" as a comic reel most times and with midgets. It's original but it's also different seeing it from that character. I like the whole refs not doing their job but that's buying too much into other sports. Like WWE when they had a Referee spot or the Debate last Monday after or before the Presidential Debate. No sense in milking off so much real time stuff but that's just me, it works for what he's doing.
Sally and Rebel? Can I file for retirement now and still make Hall Of Fame? No? Fuck...That would suck for so many people. Not sure how LONG it'd work but it'd hurt so many feelings of opponents who had to face them. Really liked this segment and I like the secret mission Rebel seems to be on as well. World Champion before the end of 2012..
The Yarmouth segment BEFORE his falling out with Raab was...Well awkward. I think both of them rushed things from day one. Their partnership was randomly put together I believe as were other teams and they noticed they were both foreign in a sense and went with it. Losing the Tag Title shot and then a few other matches got them down on themselves and they scrambled to quick fix but forgot to do so on APW TELEVISION FIRST!! Sort of ruined the whole set up but hopefully the feud which I assume is coming will be worth the initial screw up.
TJ, Knuckles, and Atkens. You have a Midget, Hammer, and a Apple. GO. You guys work well, blend well together. I can see great things from a triangle be it love or fighting, it'd be good to see and would grow all of you.
I wrote the Knuckles/Yarmouth match for Bailey and when Knuckles and then Bailey sent me the paragraph of info for the finish I got confused. Knuckles murders common english and grammar. The man should stop using text formatting period. Just to try and fix the issue cause it's confusing at times. After what? A few hours texting, arguing, and then getting on AIM, I figured out what he wanted in better detail and that was thrown together. Now with the screw job of the storyline BEFORE the match, if the match was ehhh then it is hidden due to the already ruined beginning of Raab Vs. Yarmouth. However, props to Knuckles for putting other people over in a sense to give them a boost going into the big match at the PPV and their own rivalry.
The Uncle storyline with Bailey and Callahan seems to be heating up. I like it and worry about it all at the same time. Part because it's drama and filling Asylum with that side drama might ruin it a bit but this seems to be Asylum ready because Bailey wants to strike quickly. I like how Callahan is mental gaming the shit out of Bailey and family is such a good tool to do that. I also LOVE how Bailey expected Kash when he turned around. Also mentioned Reginald and Sally so Sally must sound like a dude but it's good to know Bailey thinks of Kash still!
I LOVED how the rest of the Beat The Clock matches were draws. You never see that, usually one or two break the tie and then the last one either makes or fails to score. I liked the change of pace in Beat The Clock. Callahan Vs. Rebel is just potential of the rawest form.
I don't usually like doing rant segments and I am not truthfully sure where I am going with Kash. I never plan anything out, just sort of get in front of the computer screen and go on what I've been doing. I like Kash without weed, I like Kash more aggressive, I like him Heel now more than ever before but this is APW, I enjoyed the HELL out of being Face as well. Just easy to like being something in APW.
Julius is a fucking BEAST! This guy will be the longest reigning World Champion in Asylum History, possibly longest reigning TOP Champion in APW History when he finally reaches that achievement. He's got every tool PLUS to do it and shows that with his on point segments and involvement in this fed and the Asylum Brand. Honestly a JOY to have on this side of the APW line.
Sally and Bailey are just good mixings. Like water and instant pudding. Turns into some good shit! The back and forth is always on point when it comes to either of them and this Elimination Chamber might just be the best one yet. I'm glad now that it's not me defending the belt in this match. Although how cool would it have been if I'd have the belt still going into the PPV I won the belt in? Haha #Dreamer
My Match with Hopkins wasn't announced. The gimmick, the match anyways. I'm guessing this special Asylum will do that and I am in the dark as to what it will be and I love that aspect. Makes me excited and scared about the possibilities like it was something I'm really stepping into. All across the board I am looking forward to this PPV, it will once again push the bar up to a new level for everyone. Asylum is really starting to shine and I THANK SO MANY OF YOU for being there, being here to help that cause. This ain't MY show but I love being apart of it to help rise it's "rating" and respect. THIS IS ASYLUM!!!!

A title match and a debut style of match ... yeah, definitely deserves the ppv treatment. My bad, and keep it up!

Wow what a show am not one for leaving really long feedback cos i tend to get lost a little in doing so but will leave some sort of feed back.
All the segments were really well written with my segment I tried to put Yarmouth over as going back to face as I feel that's the best way forward for Yarmouth and I think I did that just about.
The best match on the night for me was the Steel cage match that was just awesome writing and who ever did that match Kudos to you.
Kash fella you did my match with Knuckles proud fella well done and it made the fued with me and Stefan come out pretty well good job young sir.
Again lots of segments which I love and as I always say segments is what makes the show that much better.
Well done all involved for a well written show.

I'm aware I'm writing Asylum feedback before delivering the Overdrive feedback I promised. Apologies for that, but I will get to the OD feedback (been a bit of a heavy weekend) next.
Nice to see the show open with a match for a change. A good match, nice back and forth, even if it was a tad too long for what I expect from an Asylum TV match. But I guess the focus tonight is these beat the clock challenges, so I'll go with it. Important win for Atken, as already stated, since he was the one who needed IC heat from this show more than anyone else.
Solid little seg from Knuckles, nice to see a segment selling what happened the week before. It's one of those segs that could lead to a number of things, plus I think in this segment Knuckles did as good a job selling Julius' deviousness as well I could have done. Thanks bro, that's a nice unexpected push. Ha!
I thought Rebel was being a tad silent during the EEC build-up, but glad to see the Rebel we all know and love back to his usual tricks. It had a lot of believability too because even though it was a heel-ish argument from Rebel, it had good logic and even though I get why Sally would never buy it, it was good food for thought.
I'll agree the Yarmouth segment was a bit peculiar, seemed a bit premature to me. I'll say more on the E.I. later. But kudos to Yarmouth for his continued hard work and determination to make his character a continued presence on the show.
Nice segment between TJ and Knuckles. I can see the common bond there, and I thought Knuckles came out of it looking strong too, not just a guy who needed TJ to watch his back. Bringing it all back to the Jules/TJ feud through the 'snooping' Phil was a neat touch too and hyped what was to come.
Good match between Knuckles and Yarmouth, although it sounds like some confusing instructions to Kash made for a somewhat confusing finish. I'll go with the consensus and say I'm disappointed to see the end of the E.I., although Kash probably hit the nail on the head by suggesting it may have been a marriage of convenience rather than a bond caused by shared philosophy. I'd like to see something come of it, i.e. a feud that leads to a match at Christmas Chaos, so the team angle isn't completely buried.
Nice interaction between Callahan and Bailey, and it is a credit to these guys they have given this angle time to develop and grow. This new inner tension is a nice growth to the Bailey character too. Good work.
Although it was a joint idea, I've got to give massive props to TJ for writing 90% of this segment. I'm really enjoying working with the guy because he is full of ideas and a great instinct and understanding of wrestling psychology. I know TJ is going to be a big star here on Asylum and I'm happy to say I played my part in that.
Draws in the other two beat the clock matches. Well I'm not a big fan of drawn matches, but I think it works here because it conveys the idea that this EEC is going to be decided by the narrowest of margins, which I am sure when it comes to RPs that will be the case.
I like the old school style promo from Kash. Great hype for the match, great reinforcement of the new(ish) direction.
Another tease from Sally & Bailey in their saga. Well done to whoever wrote this because it was well-written and really conveyed that awkward tension between the two - I certainly felt it. I liked that the issue remained unresolved at the end, with another nod to Bailey's recent inner turmoil.
A very impressive ME from Kash. He has quite a challenge to replicate something similar for the PPV.
Final thoughts: Asylum is a really good place to be right now, its as strong as its been since I joined, and it is testament to the work everyone is doing that the pay-off is entertaining shows. Great work!

I'll have more in depth feedback at some point. Just a few things right now.
1. GREAT SHOW! The matches were amazing and the segments were even better.
2. God I love Callahan so much right now.
3. Phil Atken is my hero.
4. Once again, the segments by all involved in the EEC....GREAT WORK. I'm almost as pumped for that match as I am for mine.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the kind words. I feel a bit bad as recently, I haven't been contributing much off-show as I would've liked. Even my segment effort has disappeared. A few things have caused that to happen, just a lot of changes in my life at once but after all this, I'm pretty damn determined to try and get back to my old level.
Secondly, I've slotted in a review for this weeks Asylum on the Thursday EFG show, so all going well, that should be one of the last segments on the show. Anyone who's listened before probably knows we can get taken off path, if so, I'll post my notes here on Fridays.
