It was reported that Michael Lively ran through the crowd after Mondays show in attempt to regain his championship from the fans after Shadow discarded the title into the mob of APW faithful. The arena full of people seemed to enjoy the misery of Michael Lively as a huge game of keep away slash hot potato broke out with the main focus being on keeping Lively from the title. Rumor has it one fan ran up the stairs, out to the mezzanine and tried to order a beer with the belt in hand. Lively caught up with said fan. An exchange of words broke out. After getting pelted with a pretzel and someone's popcorn the champion and this fan struggled with one another physically. Witnesses reported the fight escalated as they collided with a merchandise table across the hall. Lively was said to be seen pummeling the fan when security arrived on the scene.
The fan had some clear damage to his face, and it was reported he was taken to the hospital. It's unclear the extent of his damage or if charges will be filed on behalf of APW or the assaulted fan.
Merchandise was ruined during the skirmish and it was said Michael Lively couldn't tell which title was replica or the real thing after all was calmed down. Rumor has it he apparently took every North American title present at the scene.
