President Jeff already has me pumped with his Stampede picks. I'm reading Bruce Hart's autobiography now on my Nook, so his picks have me intrigued. The hard hitting style of Stampede really was ahead of its time.

FACT: I only picked The Steiner Brothers so I could have Scott.
FACT: I am extremely disappointed in Kash for not picking The Briscoe Brothers.

Co-sign on Bret's book. He's a little full of himself at times, but the same can be said about all wrestling autobiographies, and the depth he went into is unmatched.
As an aside, picking 10th in the tag team round was tough. Like Callahan, my pick was made solely to get one wrestler (in this case, Foley), though I'm pretty sure I can find a way to use the old Funker.

Most people don't know of or watch RoH these days so picking Briscoe Brothers might hurt me here more than it helps. Who'd vote for a card filled with people they don't know much about? It's why Hennig was picked before Kevin Steen. Logic or at least my attempt at having some...

I knew Jeff was taking the Bulldogs otherwise they were mine. I wanted to throw Kid against Edge as my main event.

Will we have 2 picks for Tag Teams or just one? If it's just one, I'd have picked a tag team with 2 Singles guys or at least a tag where they could be singles stars. Either way, I'll work it. I love the picks thus far. Brainbusters were the other Tag Team outside of LOD I wanted to snag so props for picking them.

I debated going with Foley/Funk for Foley too, but went with what I went with for another...interesting match that I'm trying to create.

Sorry guys. I had an unpredicitably busy day yesterday, where I was only home for about fifteen minutes. That being said, I'm not picking Head Cheese.

Despite Yarmouth's net issues - going to give him a little while to pick seeing that he's been on the boards within the past hour or so. If he doesn't, I'll pick for him - I'm not sure he has much of a plan anyway.

Question for our friendly moderator: When you say European, do you mean actually BORN in Europe or billing themselves as from Europe? Probably a silly question, but I figured I'd ask since others may be wondering the same thing.

Hurry the fuck up, Yarmouth. If your online and your draft is up and you don't draft you need a swift kick in the balls.

Dino Bravo? I love that pick. He was getting towards the end of his career when I first started watching. Even though he was a heel I thought he was great. Still sad they haven't found his killers from his '93 death.

They should have built him up as the foreign heel in the late 80's against Hogan.

Technically-speaking, he wasn't good in the ring, and he rubbed more than a few people the wrong way backstage, as Bret's book entails. Could he have done a bit more than he did? Perhaps, but if he was around today, I'm not sure he'd have gotten above the Mark Henry level.

The last round should be to pick 3 APW Megastars past or present.

Perhaps, but if he was around today, I'm not sure he'd have gotten above the Mark Henry level. Please - Hogan was throwing around King Kong Bundy and Earthquake. Dino Bravo would have been exactly what he needed to continue his rise. Sgt. Slaughter was obviously the right choice heading in to the early 90's but Dino could have been the ultimate heel. And Mark Henry is no longer the joke that he used to be. He's a multiple time world champion and has become respectable in the ring. When I think of Bravo, I think of a shorter Batista.
