Well, we're just waiting on the Main Event, but Callahan's going to make it epic. At least he'd better! ;D
That being said, thanks to Callahan, J-Reb and Envi for writing matches, and thanks to Knuckles, Kash, Strike, Sally, Yarmouth, Atken, TJ, Anthony Bailey, Callahan, Chris Hart and President Jeff for segs! If I missed you, feel free to post below that I did so.
Also, please feel more than free to give your feedback and thoughts on the show as a whole!

I'll post feedback tomorrow, currently drowning my Philadelphia Eagles related sorrows in Yuengling. It's going to be a rough few weeks until the basketball season really kicks in.

First Asylum off the bat and just for some quick impressions, I'm a big fan of the format - it's consistent on a match-to-match basis, makes the reading easier in between commentary, actions, what people are saying in segments, etc. Big thanks to Hartsy for asking me to help out on that segment on what I believe is going to be a pretty epic story and an epic big thank you to J-Kash for doing work this week and pushing in some very intriguing stuff - Christmas Chaos is going to be fun and I look forward to it, my man.
Enjoyed the segments, feel that the matches are definitely starting to take shape for Christmas Chaos - granted, the Tap Out Gauntlet rules were something I had to read an extra second and third time just to make sure I was following suit, but beyond that, no complaints.
And with the APW Showcase Tag Team match official, Sally...we need to think up of a team theme - who cares if it's a one night shot?! XD
Awesome show delivered on by biggs and the writing team who stepped up for this week. Kudos, looking forward to more.

Asylum, back from One Night. That pay per view, like Mania, is a big reset button that I personally look forward to each year because we get to see the new storylines and all that start a fresh. So let’s see where we’re going to be taken for the next few months. We start with a substantial segment between Knuckles and Reginald. Actually not what I was expecting at all. Then a follow up with Knuckles opening the show. Again, not what I was expecting at all ... but, it’s great. It’s lively, different, and funny. This new angle for the Knuckles character has a lot of legs to run with, especially if it’s done right. And, if later events are anything to go by, should end up being a good two-person storyline between two ‘out there’ characters. Then, that first match ... it takes the funny to a whole new level. Lost and regained on the same night. Very, very funny. Whoever wrote all of this, they are on the ball! Well done! Then into a Strike and Hart promo that really furthers the depth of Strike and the Hart/Kurt story. Nice and to the point, even getting me interested. I know there’s a past with Strike and Hart, but I wasn’t really sure why this was here rather than OverDrive (as it’s an OverDrive feud, yeah?). But, when Hart says something like “I’m going to need everyone’s help” it got me interested enough. Reginald is busy tonight, and into his second segment with Atken. Great segment here too. Atken taking a very heel-route to the match. Given the result later, it makes it all the much better! Really shows a growth in the Atken character and, honestly, I can’t wait to see where this goes. Not necessarily the Atken/Reginald stuff but the Atken vault towards Christmas Chaos. Chris Strike’s Asylum debut ... and he wins a title. I think that’s on par with Callahan’s first match being a title victory here. Unfortunate loss for Kash - I wasn’t expecting it early in the week, but given the ‘technical’ issues, I think it was fait accompli. Though, Kash, you’re in the books as the grand slam champion and that’s a big achievement in and of itself. Good match right there, though a little less extreme than I was expecting. It was quite wrestle-ish. But I like those matches, so that’s not much of a complaint. Then, with Knuckles ruining the match for Kash (an appropriate end, given everything) it just made the match that much bigger. Great set-up for a feud between the two, and Strike has a strong opening. I think everyone gets something out of this which is exactly what should happen. Back then with a Kash segment. Good arrangement with the segments there. True to TV, true to life. And if anyone read this: and didn’t get a tingle up their spine, then you just don’t know how good it’s going to be. I think Kash/Knuckles is overdue and should go for a long time. It’s a headline feud if Asylum has any. Into a Yarmouth segment. Is it too mean to say that this is the first Yarmouth segment that I’ve truly enjoyed? Not to say everything else was bad, but this had me hooked from the start. Lead in from commentary (something a lot of us forget!), then into a funny little skit (if seasonally a little early), and then furthering a storyline while the other person isn’t here (where is Raab???). Could be a tighter segment, yes. But it’s a fun thing, and it’s good enough to get me interested. Well done. Straight into a match, and one of the undersold of the night. The former world champ up against Knuckles. I don’t know if they’ve faced before ... and because I can’t remember, it’s a fresh match-up! Well written match, though a little short. These are the deficits, though, of our game. The Knuckles in the match didn’t much match to the Knuckles that had been losing it all night. I don’t fault the writers or anything, it’s just one of those unfortunate aspects of what we do. Next week, though, I can’t wait to see a off-the-charts Knuckles in a match with his new belt! Though, that said, the ending was fitting and, heck, funny again! A good win from AB, coming off a hard loss at One Night. But, this is exactly what you have to do to get back into it. Build up those wins. Then, a strange segment there between AB and Reginald. Strange because I didn’t see it coming, not because it was bad. Bad ratings as the reason to not get a contendership shot? Believable, especially in the real world. It’s just something ... it’s an interesting angle to go. I can’t say I’ve seen it done before like this, and I’ll be very interested to see where you take it, AB. A lot of potential in it for character changes/development/depth. Segment from Jeff on Asylum!? Now I’m dreaming. I liked the announcement and, well, it factors into all sorts of things. But, just to say this: That match is going to be crazy! VWi has a history-making match there. Good segment from TJ next. Very good. It might get overlooked given the segment-heavy results we have here but I didn’t miss it. TJ works so hard and deserves his time in the sun sooner rather than later. This segment definitely sets him up for something big in regards to that. A lot of good things to come out of the character there, and definitely someone to watch in the coming weeks. My match is up next: Thank-you to the writer. You did an excellent job there. Really captured the spirit of the match, I felt. Unfortunate about Julius’ situation, and I’m sure there will be a match down the line to make up for it all. But, again, a match that delivers to both people in it. Very well crafted, too, the story in the match. Good length, good (and correct type of) action, and a good result Kash again, with Knuckles. I liked this because it resolved a lot of things from earlier. I was actually a very smart segment because, yeah, it drew the two to the point that they were walking towards very quickly. Well done. The Reginald segment, setting up the Suicidal match, is very good. I’m also very interested to see how all three men will get together for that and what angle they will take. And then the Tap Out gauntlet announcement - excitement overload!I’ll be very interested to see how that shapes up, and if any Meltdown megastars get a pass into it (as that would be one hell of a way to move up!). Christmas Chaos is shaping up to be one hell of a pay per view already on the Asylum side. The Bailey/JHop/Callahan segment did two things for me: Tell me what the Christmas Chaos match is probably going to be, and remind me how much I loathe that Callahan character haha! Really good heel work there, strong outing by all three, and sets up a very interesting storyline for the next couple of weeks. My segment ... skip. Main event: Well written, given the abundance of talent in it. I was sweating this match because, well, there is some serious talent in here ... and for Atken to beat them all out says VOLUMES about the guy and how far he has come. It’s Atken’s Asylum, we’re just a part of it. I was suprised at a lot of points in it, but I don’t want to get much in to that because then it shows who I was rooting for haha! Anyway, Atken, congratulations! I can’t wait to work with you for the next few weeks, and then bring it all to a head at CC! Great job everyone. Yeah, a segment heavy show ... but to be expected. Everyone is setting up their storylines for the rest of the year, and into Survive and Conquer. So I’ve got no problem with that. Matches wree strong, the card was strong, it was a really solid, strong night for Asylum! Whoo! On to next week!

time for my play by play feedback. i hope i can live up to some of the other guys here who have done way better jobs than i ever could.... the opening stuff with the segments and preemptive match was all me. (tyvm sally) i really wanted to push Knuckles frustration and hopefully i can bring u guys all on a ride with me as u find out who the man in black really is stay tuned to every show to find out more this leads right into the Hart/Strike segment. i will admit that i only know of Strike's reputation (somewhat) so im not really familiar with his past with anybody...yet. looks pretty solid and no doubt talking about Hart facing Noble. i gotta be honest, i expected more. Strike has burst on the scene with great intensity, winning a title shot on his first match and this segment should be pushing his arrival and impact rather than an OD feud. it's almost as if to me that Hart is trying to take some of that from him. (no offense) im hoping to see more later on in the show. its almost as if Hart is planning an "intervention" of sorts and with his past with Strike, it makes a lil more sense. PHIL ATKEN!! i love these segments cuz u no ull get something funny out of them. it's nice to see that the motivation he got from our feud isnt going to waste. definitely worth the read. finally a real match! Kash vs Strike. this match is brutal as expected. The suicidal championship should be, in my opinion, as important if not more since its as violent as the show implies. kash wrote this right? i can usually tell his match writing and once again does a great job pushing all sides of the story. the rps were wow and worthy of this match. grats to Strike FTW. Kash runs out to look for Knuckles (and jumping ahead) his furious demeanor shows here which is wat belongs in my opinion. this 6 long years can only get worse with more brutality. wats this fascination with Kash and poo? lol a fitting pay back as Knuckles walks away and heads to the showers. ill admit that when i read this the first time i laughed and approved it without hesitation. expect pay back next week Kash Santa? wheres MY naked cheerleaders? its YARMOUTH!! maybe he asked Santa for his name back from Blade just dont ask me to sit on ur lap, although im sure he'll have the ladies do it and ask to talk about the first thing that pops up nice little set up for the ME later on. ugh my match? lol Rebs did a great job as always but i think there was some confusion cuz neither of us knew if my earlier segments would get approved even tho i sent them in last week, we both just found out the day of. Reb did wat he did and still killed it, i think. as far as Bailey is concerned, hes a former world champ. very tough spot for the likes of me and yes we DID have a match right after Rasslemania where Dillinger interfered and Bailey got the pin. so hoping to get he win here was very far off i think Bailey's rps have gotten so much better and there was a reason he was champ and he deserved the hard fought win. GJ man this could easily get drawn out and made better if we decide in the future to do something. Rebs, gj selling. and look at that! i got the pin too to keep the Dark Match Championship lol. The Bailey segment i been waiting for. why didnt he get a rematch? he definately deserves 1, especially since he beat Sally 1-1 at Shockwave. too boring? i wouldnt say that. i say we protest Bailey's rights or riot. ATTICA ATTICA!! Jeffs seg! Asylum vs OD tag match? Asylum FTW baby! gonna be hard with Hart and Strike on opposite ends of the ring. i smell a possible double cross on both teams. hmmmmmmm. TJ finaly gets a word in edge wise with his seg. seg heavy? not really much here but it pushes his chances of being number 1 contender. i think maybe this seg was a lil too nice? if that makes any sense? TJ should be pissed. his shots at Farq almost seem irrelevant here cuz he seems so calm. a big guy like him should be ranting about not giving up cuz he didnt. and since he didnt give up, should not have lost. im hoping to see more of TJ down the line. Sally vs Farq. just a shame that Farq didnt get a second rp up. if anybody has a damn good chance of beating Sally, its him. he is just a beast and this is coming off the draw i had with him on our 1 nite feud ( i enjoyed it anyways) again, awesome match writing. is there anyplace anywhere else that has it this good? APW kicks ass baby! i like how Farq is being pushed as the sneaky and clever guy. almost like the ric flair of APW. WOOOOOO! Farq lost but at least he gets a happy ending from Sally which i can attest to (TFTB) that they are awesome her egg rolls are the shit! lol (get it?) i no ima dork.... now its time for Reginald to come out. wats his fascination with rick astley? its likes hes a walking rick roll <3 anyways..... wtf? being thrown into CC with this was NOT expected at all in any way. i am absolutely shocked with this announcement. i really dunno wat to say......so i wont a Tap Out Gauntlet match? NICE!! who wants to be the wizard and who wants to be the archer? this match will be on the top of my list to watch for CC. Bailey and Jhop return to push their team in the tourny then all of a sudden the big bad Callahan walks in to blow their houses down. way ruin my IHOP Callahan. YOU OWE ME SOME PANCAKES!! nicely done to push Bailey/Callahan i must say tho i LOVE the new Sally entrance. maybe its the pic base or wat but DAYUM!! lol <3 (insert creepy branden harvey phrase here) i also appreciate the S&C reference since and im all for goin "on board" Sally lol.....too creepy? regardless, S&C will belong to APW this year one way or another..... Callahan did a PHENOMENAL JOB with this match. everybody here posted great rp's but its great to see Atken get wat he finally deserves. he is motivated and ready to go so Sally will have to be L-O feud ready in order to get past the guy who is STARVING for this. excellent job guys and GL. overall this was a great show. CC may end up PPV of the yr this yr again GJ all around guys. (hopefully i didnt offend and that my smileys didnt annoy u guys much?) HA!!

I highly recommend getting a gmail account and using google drive for writing. It automatically saves after every individual key strike, so nothing is lost. If you PC shuts down on you, the info is still saved online for you to access from anywhere.

New computer here we go!!! - I enjoyed the opening segment. It's kinda been building to this, even though, Knuckles about a month ago or so was celebrating his 100th loss and now he's bitching about loses, it wouldn't make sense but Knuckles explains it perfectly. I love when wrestling and segments make sense and that's why I love where the Knuckles character is going. I enjoy the heel that has a case, but handles it poorly. I look forward to reading more from Knuckles.....
- Okay not everything from Knuckles. Not a big fan of this segment. It had a good start with Knuckles rewarding himself for his work just, ah, yea. IMO, severely anti-climatic. I thought it was going to something semi-serious, given where the character has hinted to going and now it's just the old Knuckles, but heel. I think this Dark Match Championship thing just brings down what you could do with the gimmick and path for Knuckles. Hopefully the man in black ends up being something important.
- Hart's on Asylum....to ask for help? Normally I wouldn't be a fan of Overdrive stories on Asylum nor Asylum stories on Overdrive unless it's big enough. The Fall of Noble is big enough, imo. The history with Strike and Hart helps as well and am intrigued to see where this goes
- I didn't do feedback for ONIH, but if I did, Atken's segment about using Hank as a weapon would have been highly praised. I love Atken's work as he plays a weaselly heel. I liked that he has ANOTHER lackey of sorts. This sets up for the main event well, sets up that he has a back up plan so he doesnt have to do much in the match.
- Evan, great match man. Very well written with some great spots. Could be wrong, but i thought Kash was stopping the usage of the UTI in his matches recently, because people love it and such. I could be wrong. I loved the finish as I saw it in slow motion with Kash going "Whhhhhaaaatttt tthhhheeee ffffuuuuuccccckkkk???" midway through the Grand Slam.
- Screw you Sally, sorry CP, but screw you. Had I had a sober mind and working laptop, I would have said that exact description of Kash's "I hope he forgives me for ending his career" line. The segment felt like it was going towards that but it wasn't overdone. Great segment Kash.
- Now don't take this the wrong way Yarmouth, but this was the first entertaining Yarmouth segment I truly enjoyed. Nothing bothered me. Not too many fellas, not bland and generic. Original and actually had substance to it. Most of the time, you have the interview where Yarmouth talks shit about his opponent and hypes up his match but it was nice to see you in a different way and the continuation of Raab/Mouth feud is great. I think if you get in a match where you aren't furthering a feud, a good segment to do so helps greatly and this is really the first one you've done like that.
- Solid match between Bailey and Knuckles, short, but compartively to the other matches on the card, a championship match, champ vs champ and a #1 contender match, understandable even if it has the former world champ in. Only qualm with this match is the ending, or, the second ending. This whole Dark Match championship thing just makes me apathetic about anything it's involved with. Just like, a comedy heel isn't funny nor entertaining to me.
- Interesting segment, not for the reason many may think. Take some time.....ok......ready yet?.....no? take your time.......ok....gotta guess? Was it the reasoning that Bailey was boring? No. Was it Bailey's reaction? No. Was it that Bambi didn't have pizza again? No. The fact that Reginald came off as a heel in this segment and sorta of one in the previous segment he was in. Bailey seems to be changing into a more cynical man, if you read the tweets he sends, very VERY unlike tweets from a month or two ago. It's going to be a fun ride to wherever this goes for Bailey. Maybe I'm reading into this REgi, but I always veiwed him as a easy going GM who is about fairness, so maybe we're seeing a change in Regi.
- Interfed news! Awesome to see this being acknowledged in a show. That's about it. I'm excite for Showcase Zero
- My segment. Threw something up. If you enjoyed it cool, if you were Knuckles, you didn't read my RP leading into the match at least not all it where TJ gets ran down by his buddy for being too proud. Kinda went into this as well in the segment.
- TJ passed out during the match? I thought the ref called it. Anyways great match between two champs, Julius really needs to get the strap off his waist so he can get his hat thrown into the World Title picture. Both champs looked great in this match.
- My segment of the night between Kash and Knuckles. Kash laying down the warning to Knuckles and, despite him saying that he didn't want another Knuckles feud, he's getting it and oh man is it going to be good. Blood feuds are great.
- Two big announcements we got three set matches for Xmas Chaos, Sally defending the title, and these two title matches. Strike vs Kash vs Knuckles. I think Strike is up to be apart of the start this chapter of Kash and Knuckles and hopefully is ready for these two because they love their violence nasty, and if that segment was any indication, it's going to get nasty. And the Tap Out Gauntlet match, I'm excited for and being a part of it, I'm can't wait and hopefully I make the most of it but I got a few guys, four to be precise, to beat out. Gonna be fun Y'all.
- Oooooooh SHIT! Callahan/Bailey looks to be heading to a match at CC and I can't wait. So much between these two as of late, it's gotten very personal and seems to bringing some life to a "boring" man.
- I smell a Brand War. Loved Sally's segment. Ironic that on a segment heavy show, Sally's segment basically calls for Asylum to step out from the "shadow" of OVerdrive. I can't wait to see how this goes.
- Main Event time. First off, Callahan, BECKETT IS A HEEL! IT SAYS HES A HEEL ON THE FREAKIN' CODING GUIDE! BECKETT DOESN'T LIKE TJ! Now, aside from that, fantastic work. Everyone got a spot that was unique to them, all I know is that if anyone ever screams some made up language at me, I'm ducking. Congrats to Phil, much earned and can't wait to see you duke it out with Sally.
Overall great show. As far my expectations for the next Asylum, hopefully more from Yarmouth to carry this Raab feud into the next month, Phil and Sally work a bit, Strike/Kash/Knuckles stuff and hopefully some stuff from Slade and Saint.

The way I write Nailz and Beckett is supposed to be a reminiscent of Scott Stanford/CM Punk when they did Superstars together. CM Punk likes and dislikes whoever he wants and is a heel commentator because he shits on the show and is very difficult to impress.

-TJ-: Kash still uses the UTI, he doesn't use the Stalking version of it anymore. It cost him a few matches and the fans liked it but liked that he lost those few matches as well so he cut ties with the stalking part of the move. Now it's just out of nowhere hit, like a back to back RKO. The Grand Slam is now gone though, replaced with someone more useful to a 6'2"/230 lbs guy who sometimes sees monsters like TJ in the ring. Not that we've fought but I can't realistically see Kash hitting that on Yarmouth or TJ with their given size.
