Losing the Suicidal Championship sucked but it being due to Johnny Knuckles is an emotion that had superiority to losing the belt. He was getting another shot at the belt, he knew it'd come due to how he lost the match. Chris Strike would be involved but none of that could matter right now. Now was his time in the sun, his time to reconnect with who he is and what his purpose is each and every time he steps into the ring.
What he even has left to accomplish has often questioned his thoughts. He knew he wasn't even close to being done. Not when so much has been left unfinished. Anthony Bailey, Sally, Julius, Lively, and even Young Mannie. Someone not worth the time to most but Kash had good reason to want to see him inside the ring. Good enough reason to attack him from behind a few weeks back...Still. There were questions surrounding why he had done such a thing.
Tidus Howe: You're not going to tell me? You just want me to be unworried about you taking a match with Young Mannie. Someone who would like nothing more than to take you out. This is one week before you're scheduled for a rematch with Julius Farquhar. Both taking you where? What championships are on the line here, what do we gain from this?
He had heard Tidus but couldn't believe his ears. Why was this man questioning Kash's plans? Who was he to do such things? Kash hired him to help with understanding the Season of J.A.S.O.N. but he couldn't answer every question. Kash just rediscovered who he was inside for this last season. He enjoyed the season in the end. With the month of November being it's end, he looks back and doesn't regret anything. Lessons learned, experience gained. He was prepared to take on anything now. Win, lose, or draw he would do what he wants to do in this business and that's Wrestling Violence and the Pain that comes with it.
Jason Kash: I don't need a Championship to be on the line for it to be treated as a Championship caliber match. I'm leaving my Mark from now on. That means every match, every Opponent becomes important. No overlooks, no half assing anything. I'm game on, focused like a set of binoculars.
Tidus Howe: And what has changed? Why make a meaningless match mean more than it is? You need help..
The sound of tires screeching is where the scene opens. The rental he's driving comes to a stop in the middle of the road somewhere in Houston. A cemetery off the right and an over passing Freeway above them. The road their on is desolated. Inside the car, Tidus Howe has his hands firmly pressed against the dash board. His glare towards Kash is a scared and confused look. Kash puts the car in park and leans back into the Driver's seat.
Jason Kash: Get out.
Tidus Howe: What!?! Are you crazy? You slammed on the brakes because I'm questioning our game plan for the future?
Jason Kash: YOU'RE NOT HERE TO HAVE AN OPINION...Do you understand? This is MY STORY, MY CAREER..Heh..Let me calm down. Look, you just need to get out of the car right now. Before what I do to Young Mannie on Monday becomes what I do to you right now..
Tidus Howe: Fine..
As Howe exits the vehicle, Kash pulls the lever and pops the trunk. Then he too exits the vehicle. Leaving the driver door open, Kash nods towards the back of the car. Tidus meets him there and Kash pulls open the trunk lid.
Jason Kash: Get in..
Tidus Howe: I'm not getting into the trunk! Are you--
Snatching Tidus at the back of his head, Kash shoves him to the trunk and his knees clank up against the rear of the car. Tidus looks back at Kash and angry but quiet he climbs into the trunk and lays on his side in a curled up fetal position.
Jason Kash: I need some time to think without having to hear you. Stay put.
With that the trunk is slammed shut. Kash looks around as he casually returns to the Driver seat and shuts the door. No sooner as he begins to drive, he pulls off the street and underneath the belly of the freeway standing above. He always takes the feeder roads when traveling himself because too many people drive stupid on the freeways. Plus it was always more private at sections like this, next to a big multiple exit. The roaring and vibration of the hundreds of different vehicles can not only be heard but felt as he shuts off the engine and sits parked. He again exits the car, shuts the door and walks out a bit. He kicks an old can of Miller Lite. It's graphic on the can is very faded but it clanks as it skips across the garbage littered grounds.
Jason Kash: Why? Why did I do it? Did I really attack Young Mannie because of something that happened more than a year ago now? When he smashed a BONG over my head after I was nice enough to share a bowl with him? No. Heh. The answer is a simple no. It would be reason enough but with Mannie there are just SO MANY reasons for this attack. I could say because he feels more relevant than he actually is.
I could say because he feels he has left a legacy in APW that people will remember. Maybe it's because he has cheers recorded to his theme music so he can pretend people cheer for him. Nobody likes Young Mannie, Srrious? The Main Reason I attacked him though? I just outright dislike the man. The boy, the puppet of other people's originality. I dislike the way he looks, the way he talks, the way he wears his smile. I want to wipe the floor with him, to make him as much of a punk, as much of nothing as everyone else already sees him as being.
I like hurting people. This is the Season of J.A.S.O.N. and at the end of this Month the Season is over. What I've taken from this season, what I've learned from this Season is that I enjoy hurting people. I enjoy being hurt myself. I like pain! It makes me smile...But when I see Young Mannie, when I hear his annoying carbon copied sounding VOICE...I don't think of my own pain. I don't see myself smiling in my own hurt, I just see his blood on my hands. His pain in my pocket, my control. My decisions to put him through whatever I want to put him through plays out in my mind and I enjoy what I see..
A car comes off the exit and comes around the bend and past the cemetery. The driver glances over at Kash and maybe has some back necking to him as the car the man is driving drives by. Kash looks out at the cemetery and half thinks to go visit some burial sites. The thought of being buried keeps him focused on Young Mannie. Something he can vision doing, digging the grave and putting Mannie's career inside the empty hole only to fill it and forget it.
Jason Kash: In this competition, it won't be about "Rassling" but will be about how long Young Mannie can go before he gets buried by my hands. In this game, this world...We only play for keeps, no hand outs, no cheat codes. In this jungle, talk is nothing, talk is cheap. You fight, stand up and show your victory or sit the fuck down and don't exaggerate who you are. Potential. You think you've got any? It's past time where Potential should have played into something more. If anything you've got Meltdown and a bunch of rookies who don't know this APW thing yet and STILL beat you more times then they should if "Potential" was going to burst out from you.
Once you get in the ring with another vet in this game, you fold like a piece of paper. You belong in the Developments because you will always be Development. Someone people can beat and use to springboard themselves to somewhere higher up on the ladder than you've been and can get. What success have you had? Tag Champs? Please, you got lucky because I didn't have a partner. Not a real partner, not one that fucking mattered to anything but opening match beat downs.
What happened to your Tag Title Reign? Your what FIRST defense you are eliminated FIRST. Yeah, big accomplishment. Nobody BUT you and maybe William "Smooth" see that as anything but a paper reign, a joke of a reign as a Champion you will never experience that feeling again. Shanell believed in you but even she up and vanished like a fart in the breeze. She probably went out to get some tic-tacs cause when I kissed her? Breath STANKY! I not only smelt shit but tasted the particles as well and used half a bottle of mouth wash to remove it. You loved her didn't you?
Of course you did, it's a rarity you getting any tail to begin with. She was already your "Boo" wasn't she? Fucking trrible! Everything you've done has been crap. Title Reigns, forgettable winning streaks, even relationships. All are done so lazy, with so much "Who Gives a shit" involved with it that you've become overlooked week in and week out. You're as much of a real Veteran to the Ring as Mr. Dangerous and who would really say different?
Walking back to the car, the trunk is being hit from inside. Suddenly it donned on Kash that the car that had passed has it's window down and if Tidus was banging. They might think to call the Police. Imagine explaining that problem. He hurries to the back of the car and slams down a fist to it's surface. Silence is heard after the small echo passed through the under pass area.
Jason Kash: Stop banging stupid, you're gonna get the cops called.
Tidus Howe: Let me out, it's hot in here!!
Jason Kash: I'm almost done, hold on..Damn you are impatient!
Stepping to the side of the car, Kash leans up against the back window. He looks around and takes a deep breath through his nose. The smell of dead animals rotting close by, garbage that had been dumped here by the bag load. Probably also helping the smell is the cemetery across the street. All things relating to death, no wonder so many people who do pass by do it with haste. Not wanting to think about the end, the finalization of something.
Jason Kash: This right here looks like something left and forgotten. Something no longer kept cleaned or worried about. Like Homeless people who unless their committing crimes or being murdered, nobody cares about. It is in itself a metaphor to the career of Young Mannie. To Red Shield Mafia in general. I've heard the stories and tales of the things any of them have done and none of it was worth an opening contest in today's APW. Like this land before me here, their careers were long forgotten and it's just like Young Mannie to hope, to still reach out and want something he just isn't good enough to achieve.
When you've competed for Titles, you've lost in an embarrassing effort. You will never be a Champion Mannie. That has to be clear to even you right? Name a Champion or recent Champion on the APW Roster that you can actually beat? Please say me! This is going to be like the Varsity Football Team at some random High School playing the Superbowl Champions and I've BEEN done had the Wrestling Lombardi Trophy..TWICE!
You've never even been in real contention for anything. When you were it wasn't because you were the earned Contender but Management needed FILLER and you got your lucky break. Hell what happened to getting after Michael Lively? What happened to going after "Jesus"? Taking revenge for all he did to you? Nothing came from that? You just said fuck it? You're a quitter, you suck at anything with any real tension added to it and have shown that your entire time in APW. When it matters, you don't. Simple as that.
It's why you continue to go back to the Red Shield Mafia material. It's why you showed up at the RSM Gym. You have to grab what success you've had because of someone else to have something at all. You were the pawn, the grunt of that group and that group won't even get a Hall Of Fame Nomination. If you left tomorrow, quit your job and moved to the Mountains...LITERALLY nobody would remember you next week. You'd be forgotten like you are until someone is booked to face you and then they remember you still being around. YOU WANT THIS SHIT FOREVER!! Yet all hope of it died when RSM was handed their asses and removed from the roster. You can't find what RSM as a whole couldn't get. You're kidding yourself to even think otherwise...
He begins to laugh, leans forward and grabs his stomach as the laughter grows louder. He can't help himself. Drool comes off his bottom lip, his arm comes up and wipes it away. He stands tall and readjusts his crotch.
Jason Kash: Heh. Does this feel like a verbal rape because my dick feels sore like I just fucked the shit out of someone. I'm "hard" like excited to be able to bring you the world of pain that I'm going to bring to you. I'm going to more than enjoy it, I'm going to place a Bloody Hand print to your skin, leaving my mark. You'll be the first and just like at Christmas Chaos I will leave my mark on Knuckles and Chris Strike soon as well. See I have my hands full already Mannie and yet I've found the time to come get you. To come break you. To beat you, to hurt you, to rip open your dreams and turn them to nightmares. You WILL be my victim Mannie. That can't be changed, it's already written in the history books. It just needs to be signed and I will sign that entry with your blood.
Finally he opens the car door and pops the trunk. Tidus begins to climb out slowly, his face drenched in sweat. He slams the trunk closed and begins to reach the passenger door when Kash jolts the car in reverse. Tidus stops and looks at Kash thinking he's playing around. Adding more to the situation only he finds funny. He goes for the door handle again and Kash gives it some gas and again pulls back in reverse. Tidus raises his arms wanting the games to stop and from inside the car, Kash waves him to come along. As he goes for the door handle, Kash twists back and fully backs up onto the street. Tidus stands at the driver side window and taps it a few times. Kash looks out at Tidus and rolls down the window before poking his smiling face out for Tidus to see.
Tidus Howe: What the hell man, let me in!!
Jason Kash: No can do Tidus but I'm done thinking. I've decided you're Fired...
The scene begins to fade as Tidus Howe stands at the side of the street with his jaw dropped open as Kash drives off leaving him there alone.
