Anyway, no-one has answered all 5 correctly yet, so I can't confirm a winner.

It seems #4 is the crux of the problem here. It is a bit obscure, but certainly not subjective. But I'm a kindly soul (at times) so I'll offer a tie-breaker. The first person to PM the correct answer to the tie-breaker (along with the other four correct answers) wins a prize (believe me it is worth the effort). I'll announce the winner when I get from work tonight (about 12 hours).

END OF DAY 1

All is tranquil inside the mad mad world of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s psyche. But don’t expect all peace and loveliness and babbling brooks for too long because with these testosterone-fuelled freaks all crammed together people will start dying soon.

Chief conspirator in this world is Governor Schwarzenegger, and he had called in his troops for a pep talk. But as we join him he is engaged in a telephone conversation.

“And you can’t use my influence to get Last Action Hero that Academy Award nomination?”

“DO IT! JUST DO IT!”

Governor Schwarzenegger slams down the phone and looks at his troops.

“We have to make tonight count. I want to see all of you out there, pushing fists down throats and breaking spines, you hear me?”

Governor Schwarzenegger slams his muscular fist on the desk.

“You okay, boss?” asks one of his goons.

“I’ve got a headache.”

“Maybe it’s a tumour.”

“IT’S NOT A TOOMAH!” Governor Schwarzenegger snaps. “It’s not a toomah, it’s not.”

From the corner a cool voice chirps in.

“We need to relax, chill out, be cool. We have the element of surprise on our side.”

The goons eye each other suspiciously and look to the boss as ‘the cool one’ shines an ince blue smile.

“Where did you find this guy?”

“Just stick around, he’ll pull his weight around here. Now, you know what you need to do, so go out and DO IT!”

Elsewhere, between two truck wagons, an electricity field manifests itself and fries and buzzes the local area. When this brief storm ends and the smoke clears there remains a naked, crouched figure. He is familiar to this world, but as he raises himself and we come to recognise the cybernetic organism we have to ask ourselves – are his orders to protect or does his mission require him to terminate?

A night of doom awaits for some, but among the many there is one who sits alone, smug with the knowledge that whatever happens he will remain. He may have some identity issues but Douglas Quaid smiles because he will be there in the morning. In fact, so pleased is he that he indulges himself with a glib remark.

“I’ll be back,” he utters as he glimpses himself in the mirror.

In a world where it is impossible to tell truth from deceit, one man is at all times virtuous and true. This man is Julius Benedict, a genetically modified freak who personifies wholesome goodness. Right now his attention is focused on ?, a man himself fond of digging.

In his laboratory Dr. Alex Hesse is working on an elixir that will be of great service to the ‘good guys’ in this movie. But he remains uncertain about his concoction and considers whether he should be his own guinea pig.

But Dr. Hesse is not alone as he is being watched from various quarters. Closing in is Trench, under strict orders from Governor Schwarzenegger. Armed with a pistol Trench knows what he has to do and has his victim in his sights.



However, as Trench is about the fire the weapon it jams and he curses quietly to himself.

He is irked even further by the sudden ringing of his mobile phone. He answers and the news isn’t good.

“The boss is dead,” says his mysterious interlocutor.

“What do you mean, ‘he’s dead’?” Trench demands.

“Someone whacked him. What do we do now?”

“I guess we have to find some other way.”

Trench hangs up and curses again; this is not the plan he had in mind.

What transpired to bring an end to Governor Schwarzenegger? Well not all the facts are clear, but what is evident is that he was found riddled with bullets from an unknown assailant. None of the locals bore witness, except one vague account of a mysterious, stern looking man asking after a ‘Sarah Connor’.

But it’s not all bad news for the conspirators because across town one has succeeded in his task. All the local law enforcement were left with quite the mystery as they found U.S. Marshall Jack Kruger frozen in a block of ice.

On top of that, when he should be hard at work searching for the bad guys Detective John Kimble was found sleeping on the job. Hasn't he learned that night time is a cop's most productive time?

Also, scums kill failed. They themselves already know why that is... so, I guess I should just come out with it. I stopped their kill last night. Now here's the deal... we can start clearing more.

I have a way to ensure at least one other member of the town lives a very long life but I am going to need you to come forward and claim watcher if you are it.

You'll regret it of you choose to stay in the shadows. Trust me.
