According to inside sources, APW Megastar Michael Callahan is suffering from a strained bicep caused during the tag team main event of Asylum last week after his baseball bat attack on Sally Talfourd wrenched his arm at an awkward angle.
This couldn't come at a worse time as management are high on the young heel and were in the midst of giving him and new cohort Mark Zzyzx (known as "The GI") a push towards tag team glory.
Questions are already being asked as to whether or not he'll be able to compete next Meltdown as part of War Ensemble against M&M for a place in the tag team tournament finals but if he's serious about wanting to have a lengthy career in APW and avoiding injury then the odds are good he'll miss Meltdown and possibly all following shows until his injuries are healed.
Although a relatively minor injury, this poses questions as to the future of Callahan's career in APW. Having had a sterling first six months as a Megastar, enjoying a 17 week undefeated streak and having one of the longest championship reigns in recent memory, through some form or another his bids to elevate himself to the next level seem to be jeopardised.
While the majority of APW's officials seem to think highly of Callahan's work ethic, capacity to draw heat and consistently high performances in the ring, Asylum's own Reginald Schmidt is believed to have major heat with The American Hero over various unspecified disputes. This, along with injury has lead to Callahan struggling to shatter the glass ceiling but this writer hopes that his fortunes will change as his persona while not new is a refreshing take on a veteran ring cliché and with his new assistant, the off-kilter GI at his side it seems like Callahan has but the world at his feet.

OOC: So my computer is screwed. I'm not sure how long for, getting it looked at today but hopefully this'll be an easy fix. However due to being unable to have a reliable access to the internet, I may have to no-show a few shows. I'll try and do what I can.
