Overdrive opens up with a clip from last week’s overdrive, the announcement for the Level One Verses Jesse Nunez match for Shockwave. Level One must pin Jesse for 6 seconds to win the match. The clips fades into the Overdrive intro video The video ends and pyro shoots from the stage and the Overdrive theme song continues to play as fans stand from their seats, cheering and holding up their signs, showing off for the home audience. The camera stop on the voices of Overdrive, Darren Harvey and Johnny Chase. Harvey: Welcome everyone to Wednesday Night Overdrive!Chase: This is it. The last Overdrive before Shockwave. Harvey: 11 days away. Sunday August 30th. Its going to be off the hook. And after what we’ve seen on Overdrive the past few weeks. This week, I think, its going to be crazy.Chase: Tonight, we will see in a handicap match, The Ass Kickers Anonymous taking on the Axis of Awesome. Harvey: These two teams hate each other and tonight may be a preview of whats to come at Shockwave.Chase: Also tonight, Michael Lively and Presient Jeff will be in the ring in a face to face interview.Harvey: This rivalry is personal. I’d be surprised if one of them makes it to Shockwave after tonight!Chase: And in our main event. Joe Martinez takes on Level OneHarvey: Joe made the challenge on ActionPackedWrestling.tk last week and Level One accept. Chase: I’m pumped for tonight to lets go to the ring for our opening match up of the night.The cameras go to the ring where Nicky Paige is standing with a mic. Paige: The following Contest is scheduled for one fall."King Nothing" by Metallica blasts through the P.A. system and the crowd hits their feet as they await for The Retribution Killer. As the heavy metal guitar solo comes to an end out comes John comes out wearing his normal wrestling attire with his "The Retribution Killer" shirt on. He smiles as he stands in front of the entrance ramp and does his trademarked "Retribution" pose and sparks and fireworks shoot into the air immediately. Paige: Introducing to the ring first, from Atlanta Georgia, JOHN GREENGreen makes it way down to the ring and his opponent, Ted Bennett, runs out and attacks Green from behind. Green falls to the ground and rolls down the ramp. Chase: Come on now, be a man and fight in the ring.Harvey: Ted is looking for an early advantage in this one.At ringside, Ted is beating on John and then grabs him and Irish whips him into the steel ring steps. The steps goes flying as John holds his shoulder. The crowd boo’s as the ref yells at Ted to bring the match into the ring. Ted slowly grabs John and rolls him into the ring and Ted slides in the ref calls for the bell to start the match Ted Bennett Vs John Green
Ted places John in the corner and chops him. Ted goes throw John into the opposite corner, but John Reverses it. The fans cheer as John runs at Ted, but Ted gets a boot up into John’s face. Ted runs at John and John out of no where, counters with a big spine buster which gets the crowd roaring. John grabs Ted and goes for the head splitter, but Ted counters by Back body dropping Green over the top rope and onto the floor. Ted goes outside the ring and the ref yells at him to get back in.
Harvey: I think Ted wants to hurt John.
Chase: An injured John Green gives Ted that must more advantage going into Shockwave.
The ref begins to count. 1 . . . Ted takes John and Spears him into the side of the ring. 2 . . . . . Out from the back is The Zero. He runs down and starts attacking Ted.
Chase: What is going on!
3 . . . . John holds his back as Victor Hades runs from the back and starts attacking The Zero and Green is quick to jump on Hades. 4 . . . . . 5
Harvey: An early preview to Shockwave.

Winner: No Contest (Double Count Out) Zero rolls Ted into the Ring and John rolls Hades into the ring. The Zero has Ted in one corner and John has Hades in the other. They throw their opponent towards each other, but they avoid each other and Ted spears John and Hades spears The Zero. Hades is punching The Zero in the face and gets up, turns towards Ted and drops him with a Super Kick. Chase: What a super kick.Harvey: You could have heard that from outside!Ted rolls out of the ring and Hades takes John and lifts him up for the Closed Casket, but Green fights out of it, lands behind Hades and pushes him towards The Zero, who picks him up and drops him with the Zero Hope. Hades lays still and Zero gets up and looks at Green. The fans cheer and John extends his hand and Zero shakes it and Zero raises John’s hand Chase: These two we’re partners last week. Friends this week. But next Sunday, its every man for himself.Harvey: That’s right Johnny. At Shockwave, these four will battle it out and there can only be one winner. John and The Zero celebrate as he go backstage Pence Weatherlight is backstage stretching in preparation for his match against Jason Royce. What relatively seems like an easy result and outcome is quickly distorted when thinking about last week. He felt as if he had Michael Lively right where he wanted him; but with the sudden inclusion of the world champion and the number 1 contender it was a large enough distraction that would ultimately lead to him being pinned for the three count. A knock is heard on the door quickly peeking the fan favourites interest. Pence Weatherlight returns a blank stare at the door as the person behind it knocks again. Stepping over his work bench, Pence Weatherlight opens up the door with caution to see a familiar face standing on the other side. Pence Weatherlight: What do you want, Nunez?Jesse Nunez advances forward as Pence Weatherlight takes a step to the side, allowing Jesse Nunez to enter his locker room. Jesse Nunez folds his arms greeting Pence with a humble nod. Jesse Nunez: Hey man, I just wanted to apologise for last week and I have no hard feelings against you for throwing me over the top ropePence relinquishes a grin which he tries to hide by lowering his sight towards his locker room floor, it took him a few seconds before he could lift his head and wear a straight face any longer. Pence Weatherlight shook his head back and forth, as if he had been over the entire ordeal. Pence Weatherlight: I’m glad your man enough to see you deserved what you got, Nunez because there wasn’t going to be an apology on my partJesse Nunez unfolds his arms letting them drop by his sides. Jesse Nunez: Look man, I wasn’t trying to be up in your business last week. Level-One was the first one out there and he was trying to screw you over, man. I was out there to make sure things went down how they should’ve.Pence takes a step forward, nodding his head back and forth. Pence Weatherlight: I appreciate that, I really do. But I’ve made it quite clear that I can handle things like that on my own. We are all grown men, we don’t need you running around here playing cop.Jesse Nunez lowers his head, feeling the least bit slighted. Jesse Nunez lifts his head and too takes a step forward bumping his chest with Pence Weatherlight. Jesse Nunez: I was man enough to apologise to you, dawg. But you know what? Truth be told, you have no business on playing referee in my title match with Level-One. A guy like me can’t help but think there is something up with your involvement in my match.Pence Weatherlight taps the shoulders of Jesse Nunez, in a non hostile manner but clearly Jesse Nunez wasn’t happy by the manoeuvre, quickly swatting the hand of Pence’s away from him. Pence clearly slighted by the situation takes a single step back to create distance between the two men. Pence Weatherlight: I have unfinished business with that championship, Nunez. And I’m there to referee that match to make sure the best man for the job wins and I don’t think you can find anyone as trust worthy as myself to handle the job.Jesse Nunez: Well, I must not be looking hard enough then.The two men lock into a stare, neither of them giving the other the satisfaction of breaking their line of site first. Jesse Nunez: All I know is this, man. Yo’ ass better call that match straight down the line, even if it’s Level-One who has my shoulders against the mat. I want to win; but I want to win with honour.Pence Weatherlight nods his head in agreement. Pence Weatherlight: For what it’s worth, you have my word. I’ll count it straight down the middle, I’ll call the match how I see it. Good luck to youJesse Nunez takes a few steps back; both men keeping their eyes locked on the other, until Jesse Nunez slips out of the locker room, leaving Pence Weatherlight standing in his locker room alone, looking blankly into the camera as we go to commercial.

Overdrive comes back from commercial and Nicky Paige is in the ring for the next match Paige: The following contest is scheduled for one fallAs "Rock Superstar" begins to play, the lights go out and you can see yellow star shaped spotlights move all over the arena. After a few moments a giant pyro explosion goes off at the top of the ramp and all the star spotlights move to the entrance as Rocky Starr steps out and poses with his arms held straight out to his sides which sets off another pyro explosion and the lights come back on. Paige: From Santa Barbara, ROCKY STARRRocky walks to the ring with a confident smile and slaps the hands of fans along the way. When he gets to the rings he walks up the stairs and walks to the middle of the apron. He stops and poses once more and poses with his arms out once more. He turns around, grabs a hold of the top rope and jumps over. He walks across the ring and climbs up the turn buckle and poses once more. Streets Wilson emerges from behind the curtain smiling widely, spinning a switchblade in his hand as he does so. Small children in the front row are petrified, their parents desperately trying to console them. Streets pompously struts past the rabid screaming fans. Paige: And his opponent, from Stamford, Connecticut, STREETS WILSON!As he steps into the ring he forms an "S" shape with his hands towards the crowd and then removes his trademark fedora from his head, places his blade inside it and places it in his corner of the ring. Streets Wilson Vs Rocky Starr
The two circle each other and go to lock up, but Streets kicks Rocky in the gut and gives him a European uppercut, that sends Rocky back into the ropes. Streets throws Rocky into the ropes and goes for a hip toss, but Rocky blocks it, knee’s Streets in the stomach and drops him with the Rocker Dropper. Rocky quickly makes the cover. 1 . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . Kick Out by Streets.
Chase: Rocky tried to end it quick right there.
Harvey: These two both need a win here tonight, so there gonna pull out all the stops in this one that for sure.
Rocky picks Streets up and punches him to the corner. Rocky goes to chop Streets, but Streets is quick to rake the eyes of Rocky and takes him down with a short arm clothesline. A few stomps by Streets makes Rocky gets up to the corner where Streets comes at him with a Series of quick and powerful rights and lefts to the body followed by a devastating knife edge chop to the esophagus. Dazed in the corner, Streets snap mares Rocky out of the corner and kicks him in the back of the head. Rocky rolls on the mat holding his head and Streets lifts him up and Hammer Lock body slam followed with a standing backflip knee drop. Streets hooks Rocky’s leg. 1 . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . Kick Out by Rocky.
Chase: Streets is looking good out there.
Harvey: I think the attack by President Jeff two weeks ago was a wake up call for Streets.
Streets pulls Rocky to the ropes and places his throat down on the middle rope. Streets pushes down on Rocky, choking him and the ref begins counting. 1...2...3..4...Streets lets go and the ref warns him about being disqualified. Streets then runs off the ropes and goes to jump on Rocky, but Rocky moves and Streets goes crotch first in the ropes. The fans cheer as Rocky is up on his feet and Streets gets out of the ropes, holding his crotch. Rocky comes at Streets with right hands and then throws him into the ropes and catches him with a drop kick. Streets is up and Rocky grabs him and snap suplexes him and goes straight to the corner and climbs to the top rope.
Chase: Rocky has no one at ringside to worry about this week.
Streets gets to his feet and Rocky comes off with a missile dropkick and covers Streets. 1 . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . Kick Out. Rocky picks Streets up and throws him into the ropes, but Streets reverses it and as Rocky comes back, Streets connects with a Spinning back fist to the face. Rocky stumbles back and then ducks a clotheslines from Streets, and jumps off the middle ropes with a Moonsault and catches Streets with an Inverted DDT! Rocky hooks the leg. 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . Kick Out!
Chase: Rocky almost won there out of no where.
Rocky pulls Streets up and throws him into the ropes and puts his head down and gets caught with a big butterfly kick by Streets. Streets grabs Streets and throws him into the ropes and catches him in a sleeper and goes for the Mediterranean Spike, but Rocky ducks it at the last second and nails Streets with a standing enzurguri. Rocky sets Streets up near the corner and climbs to the top rope.
Harvey: He’s going for the Shooting Starr Press
Before Rocky can jump off. Jason Royce runs down to the ring and jumps on the ring apron. Rocky see’s him and kicks him in the face, sending him to the ground. The fans cheer and Rocky jumps off the top rope with the Shooting Starr Press and misses! Streets rolls away at the last second. Rocky bounces to his feet, holding his stomach and Streets quickly grabs him and nails the Mediterranean Spike. Rocky is down and Streets covers him. 1 . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . 3
Winner: Streets Wilson Chase: 2 weeks in a row Rocky Starr gets screwed over.Harvey: Bad luck for Rocky, but he gets his revenge on Jason Royce at Shockwave.Streets gets out of the ring and celebrates and Jason gets into the ring and stands over Rocky. With the CWF Xtreme Title in hand, Jason kneels down and puts the title next to his face and starts trashing him. Chase: Jason is just adding insult to injury now.Harvey: Some one get him out of the ring.Jason then gets up and stands over Rocky and raises the CWF Xtreme Title up high and the crowd boo’s. Just then, Rocky’s leg comes up and gets Jason right in the groin. The fans cheer as Jason falls over and Rocky gets on top of Jason and starts laying in punches. Jason covers up and rolls out of the ring, leaving the title in the ring. The fans cheer and Rocky picks up the CWF Xtreme Title and holds it up as Jason looks on, angry that Rocky is holding his title. Rocky tosses the Title to the ground and poses. Chase: These two have a long history Harvey: Its going to be exciting to see a CWF title match in APW at Shockwave!Rocky continues to poses for the fans as we go to commercial.

We come back from commercial to see Joe Martinez jumping around and stretching in preparation for his debut match later tonight. He is already in his ring gear. He puts his boot on a steel chair and ties it. He then pulls up his knee pad. After he does the same with the other boot and kneepad, he looks up at a Shockwave poster of Jesse Nunez and Level One. Joe: Look at that. Look at how the APW kisses Level One’s ass. He’s plastered all over the goddamn arena. You can’t go 5 seconds walking down the hallway without seeing Level One. Look at the APW’s poster boy. Joe rips the Shockwave poster down and tosses it into the trash. Joe: I think what Level One fails to realize is that a real champion should act as one. You had no right to interfere in last week’s main event. It sickens me to see a match that could be so great be ruined by some jackass like you.Joe throws on his “G.O.A.T.” Tee. Joe: I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Level One is garbage. I know it, and these fans know it. Tonight’s main event isn’t about getting a win. Tonight’s main event isn’t about proving that I’m better than the champ. Hell, we already knew that, but that’s still not what tonight’s main event is about. It’s about snapping your arrogant ass back into reality. And if I could borrow a phrase from you, it’s about “making a f***ing impact.”
I am the APW’s future. I will be carrying this company on my shoulders one of these days. Your time at the top is running out Level One. Tick-tock…Tick-tock…Tick-tock. When it’s all said and done, and when you’re lying there on your back in the middle of that ring later tonight, one thing will be clear. You’ve underestimated me. And that’s a big no-no.
I’m not only going to beat you to a bloody pulp, I’m going to weaken you for Jesse Nunez at Shockwave. Think of it as a gift Jesse. We all know that without me weakening Level One, you’d get you ass handed to you on a golden fucking platter at Shockwave.
I guess I’m in no position to talk though Jesse. I mean, after all you did make me tap back in the EWC. But every dog has his day. Nobody said that dog would have two.
I’m an exclusive APW superstar now though. I have an obligation to fulfill tonight. I assured victory over Level One last week, and I never go back on my word. You can bet the house on me tonight. I have more than enough motivation to get the job done, and I have more than enough skills to get the job done tonight.Joe finishes changing into his ring gear and puts his duffel bag in his locker. Joe: I just want to make one thing clear. Jesse Nunez, stay the hell out of this match. I don’t want my win tonight to be stained by your shenanigans. I know you and Level One have your beef, but please, wait until Shockwave okay?Joe exit’s the locker room and we go back to ringside The whole arena goes black as "Immortal" by Adema hits, the fans are chattering and looking around confused as a single spotlight hits the entrance ramp. Pence stands there with a long black trench coat without sleeves, he makes his way down to the ring slapping hands, the spotlight following him until he enters into the ring. Nicky Paige: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Making his way to the ring first, weighing in at 250 pounds, from Hershey, Pennsylvania, Pence Weatherlight!Pence stands in the middle of the ring as he raises both of his arms up, sparks fall from the rafters, and the lights come on. Pence gets up on one of the turnbuckles and looks around the arena, the fans with mixed chants some saying "Mr. Main Event", others chanting "Reaper". Pence takes off his trench coat and throws it into the crowd as he goes to the other side and looks out across the vast masses before standing up on the other turn buckle. He jumps down off the turnbuckle and looks at the entrance ramp awaiting his opponent. Harvey: Pence always gets a great reaction from the crowd!Chase: I still think it's bull that he's involved in the APW Championship match at Shockwave!Papa Roach's “Scars” blares over the speakers as Jason Royce enters to a mixed reaction. Paige: And his opponent, weighing in at 222 pounds, from Chicago, Illinois, “The Iceman” Jason Royce!Harvey: Royce would really like some momentum heading into his CWF Xtreme Title match at Shockwave against Rocky Starr!Chase: So now we have two Xtreme Titles officially recognized?Harvey: I honestly don't know. But what I do know is that both the APW and CWF Xtreme Titles will be on the line on pay per view!Pyros shoot from the stage as Royce makes his way down the ramp with the CWF Xtreme Title belt clasped around his waist. When he reaches the ring, he whispers something to Nicky Paige. Paige: Excuse me. Now in the ring, weighing in at 222 pounds, from Chicago, Illinois, he is the CWF Xtreme Champion, and will defeat Rocky Starr again, just like he did before, “The Iceman” Jason Royce!Harvey: Now was that really necessary for Royce to have Nicky reintroduce him?Chase: Well, if she made a mistake, she should correct it!Royce removes his belt and hands it to the ref, who calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING! Pence Weatherlight vs. Jason Royce
Harvey: These two men participated in the Mayhem main event, where Pence was able to defeat Level-One to become the new APW Champion. You can bet that both men would love a victory here tonight!
Chase: Well no duh! Nobody in this business likes to lose!
The crowd is chanting “Weatherlight! Weatherlight!” as the two men circle each other in the ring. After a few tense moments, the two competitors step in and tie up, with Royce getting the advantage! Royce has a hold of Pence's arm, and is trying to apply a Standing Key Lock, but Pence is pushing back, trying to prevent the hold! As the two men struggle in the middle of the ring, Royce goes for a cheap shot, stomping Pence right in the knee cap, bringing Pence down to one knee! With the superior leverage, Royce is able to lock the hold in, much to the chagrin of the fans! Royce torques the hold a bit, but releases it after about a minute, realizing that he won't get Pence to tap that early. As Pence is still on one knee, “The Iceman” gives him a stiff Kick to the side of the head that can be heard echoing throughout the arena, causing Pence to collapse to the mat! Royce goes for a quick cover, 1 . . . 2 . . . Pence rolls his shoulder up!
Chase: What an explosive kick from Jason Royce there! That's a sign of just how dangerous he is! Rocky Starr better be watching this match tonight to see what he's getting himself in for at Shockwave!
Harvey: It's true. Some have been guilty of underestimating Royce in the past, and they've paid dearly!
Royce stays on the attack, mounting Pence and giving him a vicious volley of fists and elbows to the face! Pence gets his arms up to defend himself, and as Royce relents a bit, Pence shoves him off! Both men get to a standing position, and Royce goes for a Spinning Backfist! Pence ducks the blow, and gives Royce a Snap Mare, taking Royce down to the mat! Pence tries to lock in a Seated Sleeper Hold, but Royce shows his flexibility by kicking back up with his leg, and hitting Pence's arm! Royce gets to his feet as Pence steps back a bit, and he goes in to grapple Pence! Pence gets the advantage, performing a standing switch to give Royce a Russian Leg Sweep! The former APW Champion pulls Royce back up to his feet, and backs him into the corner, delivering several body blows before nailing Royce on the chin with a hard punch! As Royce stumbles out of the corner, Pence lifts him up in a Gorilla Press position, and walks to the center of the ring before slamming Royce to the mat! The crowd is deafening as Pence motions for Royce to get back up, and gets behind him to deliver a German Suplex! Pence goes for a pin on Royce, 1 . . . 2 . . . Royce gets a shoulder up! Pence pulls Royce up to a vertical position, and whips him into the corner, sitting Royce up on the top turnbuckle! Pence goes up to hook Royce in a position for a Superplex! Royce blocks the attempt by hooking his foot on the turnbuckle, and gives Pence a few punches to the gut before shoving the fan favorite down to the mat! Without a moment's hesitation, Royce leaps off the nail Pence with a 450 Splash, 1 . . . 2 . . . Pence kicks out!
Harvey: What a back and forth contest we've seen thus far! Both of these men are high level competitors, so we shouldn't have expected any less!
Royce pulls Pence back up and whips him to the corner, hanging him up in a Tree of Woe! As Pence hangs upside down on the turnbuckle, Royce backs up and gets a running start, hitting Pence with a Running Short Dropkick! Royce then grabs a hold of Pence's head, pulling it up to his own chest level, and hooks it up for a Neckbreaker out of the corner! Royce goes for another cover on Pence, 1 . . . 2 . . . Pence gets his shoulder up! Royce is showing no signs of frustration as he pulls Pence back up and whips him towards the ropes! On the rebound, Pence ducks under the attempted Spin Kick, and bounces off the other ropes before drilling Royce with a Spear!
Harvey: This could be the turnaround Pence has been looking for!
Royce is holding his gut as he makes his way back up to his feet, Pence stalking him. The crowd is chanting Pence's name as he motions for the Heavy Artillery! As Royce gets to his feet, Pence goes in and grabs him in the Urinagi position! Before Pence can lift him up, Royce delivers a few hard elbows to the side of the head, causing Pence to release his grip! Royce gives Pence a few hard Knees to the midsection, followed by a Spinning Backfist, and he lifts Pence right up for the GTS! Pence elbows his way out of Royce's finisher as well, landing on his feet and whipping Royce into the corner! Pence hits with a Running Splash in the corner, and puts Royce on his shoulders! Pence then climbs to the second rope, and jumps off to deliver The Reaper's Will! He goes for the cover, 1 . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . 3
DING! DING! DING!
Winner: Pence Weatherlight Paige: Here is your winner, by pinfall, Pence Weatherlight!Harvey: What a match, and what a win for Pence!Chase: Not the outcome Royce was looking for, but neither man can be disappointed in their performance tonight!“Immortal” hits the speakers as the ref raises Pence's arm in victory! The fans are cheering loudly as APW goes to a commercial break!

Clips from last week’s main event is shown with President Jeff banning some of Lively’s moves and then Lively puling out the victory over Pence Weatherlight. Overdrive goes to ringside and standing in the ring is Cindy Shannon. Cindy: At this time, I’d like to introduced down to the ring, The White Lion, Michael LivelyThe lights dim and Lively’s titantron video flickers on AFI Misseria Cantare begins to play and the stage flickers with blue strobbing lights to the beat. Snow flakes begins to fall all through the arena, and the walkway is filled with smoke. The strobing light beat to the music, and then as the lights flicker again the figure of a hooded figure can be seen. The I am JESUS pose is given then the hood is flipped back reveling Michael Lively as blue sparks shoot up from the floor behind him. Lively then begins to walk the ramp to the music, rolls into the ring, walks to the ropes in between two ring posts, climbs the second, leaning against the top, as snow falls around him, and the ring glows blue. Lively drops down strike the pose again embracing the overwhelming boo's from the crowd. Cindy: And his opponent at Shockwave, The owner of APW, President JEFF!Jeff’s Titantron kicks in Jeff comes down to the ring and walks up the ring steps, entering the ring between the top and middle rope. Jeff climbs the turn buckle and raises his arms in the air which get a huge pop from the Canadian crowd. Jeff jumps down and goes to the middle of the ring where Cindy and Lively are standing. Cindy: In 11 days at Shockwave, You two will face off in a match that’s be brewing for quite some time. With a stipulation of is you in Michael Lively, you get back your APW contract. Now Lively, we’ll start the first question off with you. Why do you want back your APW Contract, especially on how you left APW back in March and disrespecting everything and everyone associated with APW. The fans disdain for Michael Lively is apparent as they roar with insults and boo's as the JESUS gets a hold of the microphone. A warm tingly feeling explodes inside the stomach of Michael Lively as he seems to be motivated by the hatred of the audience. Suddenly the Hottest Shit Going steps forward giving a glare right into the eyes of Jeff, before turning his attention toward Paige. Lively: WHY, WHY...all I keep getting asked is WHY??? Why do you still think on your wedding day will it be ok to wear white. Cindy shoots a disgusted look toward Lively for his insult as the fans seem to chuckle a bit. That’s not the subject at hand, so if you could for just a moment Cindy let the spotlight get focused on someone else. Why after jumping ship would I wish to come back here. Why after urinating on the APW's world title would I come back. Why after all that was done, and I was forced to job out and drop the belt would I come back here, begging to get my contract back. I"m sure the people tuning in want me to apologizes. It might smooth things out if I said it was to cause controversy, and boost ratings. I wasn't thinking clearly and just made an impulse decision, a mistake if you will. You see I'm not perfect hopefully if I get my contract reinstated I can prove to everyone that I deserve to be here. I can show some respect to the company that made me famous, and give the fans that have propped me up some credit. Lively drops the mic to his side as the fans, Cindy, and Jeff looked shocked at a humble Michael Lively. A few fans stand and begin clapping for what seems to be the JESUS asking for forgiveness. Chase: This is really awkward. Harvey: Lively is giving credit where it's due, and taking responsibility?Lively: See I knew you sick **** would want that, and unfortunately it ain't happening!The fans quickly turn back to their classic reaction toward Lively with ear deafening boo's. Harvey: God Damn Michael Lively swerved us.Chase: Should have seen that coming. Lively: Listen this place sucks, it reeks of corruption, and seems to be fueled by greed. Well so am I, I had me a hell of a pay day from this company. IWC couldn't afford me, EWC doesn't have the scratch, but APW...a top company in the market could, did, and will again. That’s why I'm back. I'm here to get paid, I'm here to drive these fans nuts, and most of all you people see what my return has done to your lovely President Jeff. Lively then turns toward Jeff addressing him directly. Lively: Jeff you dander has been raised, the hairs on the back of your neck stand straight up every time I speak. It's no secret that you despise me for what I did, and why wouldn't you. APW paid me well, gave me plenty of opportunities. Opportunities that I took full advantage of by the way. So with my talent, a companies full support, and a major push backing me up it makes no sense to anyone why I would do what I did. I know Jeff you don't understand it. The only thing you can process is that I wronged you, I pissed on your face while you were sleeping. Well Jeff prepare yourself, cause here comes your answer the reason why I did what I did. The reason why I Sh** where I was eating, because I just thought it would be entertaining. It was it drew ratings, and since my return that’s exactly what every appearance that I have made has done as well. That’s what I do, I put asses in the seats, people can't help but watch hopping this is the time Michael Lively gets put down, and their misery can end. Well Jeff like a nasty Cockroach I never get exterminated, and keep crawling back into your living room. Here I am prancing on your carpet, grabbing my Roachy balls begging you to stomp me out. Lively Lowers the microphone and Jeff signals Nicky Paige to hand him one. She goes over to the ring and Jeff reaches through the ropes and gets the microphone in hand. Jeff walks back to the center of the ring where Lively and Cindy are standing. Jeff slowly raises the microphone to his lips and begins to speak. Jeff: I know what you want to come back to APW Lively. Besides the face that APW is the best company around. Besides the fact that APW has been running strong for over a year and a half. You wanted to come back to APW because Michael Lively is a nobody anywhere’s else. Michael Lively, is nothing without me and APW. You could easily join up any other wrestling promotion out there and continue living your life, not have to deal with me again. But you came crawling back. I knew you would. You and I both know that by going to a different company, you’d be over looked. No one would care about you. Hell, the company would probably close down after a few weeks. You wouldn’t get paid, checks would bounce. You know that wrestling anywhere’s else, you wouldn’t be given the opportunities that I give everyone. You know that the quality product that I produce each and every week is no match compared to 90 percent of the wrestling companies out there. Harvey: Jeff is speaking the truth here.Jeff: I understand all that Lively. I don’t blame you for wanting to come back, Hell, I’d do that same thing. But you need to realize something. Your entertaining, I won’t take that away from you. Its why I gave you your opportunities. But everything you did. Everything you’ve put me through. You really expect me to just turn the other cheek and forget everything that happened. It goes deeper than that Lively. Its more than just you up and leaving us. Hell, you weren’t the first big player in APW to call it quits out of the blue and I’m sure you won’t be the last. That’s no big deal. You we’re easy to replace. Look who I’ve signed when you left. Pence Weatherlight, Jesse Nunez, Biggs. These guys stepped up to the plate when you turned not only on me, but everyone else. Guys like Level One, Chris Cyrus, and the AKA. Those guys took what could have been the down fall of APW and turned it into the best its ever been. You leaving Lively, may have been the best thing to happen to APW. You leaving lit the fire under everyone’s ass. It made everyone strive to be the best. And it made me more motivated than ever to make sure APW won the war and not only did we win it, we owned it.The fans cheer and a APW chant is heard. Fans on their feet, pumping their first in the air with each letter they scream. Jeff: Lively, you know you can’t be successful anywhere’s else. You know you can’t make the money anywhere’s else. And for that Lively, I do understand, your back not for revenge, because I’ve done nothing but treat you well. Your back because you love the fame. You love the money. And you love being the center of attention.Lively immediately cuts Jeff off with his hand out in front. Lively: WHOA....listen...Lively then displays a shit eating grin as if almost admitting what Jeff said was true. The fans begin to boo Michael as he just eats it up before cutting them off to ramble his rederic. Lively: You know something Jeff...you should have been a carpenter, you hit that nail right on the head. I like the spotlight, I love the fame, and most of all I love the shots you gave me. I'm a super talent that seized any opportunity given. I was given many by you, and it seems things haven't changed. We are both in the same predicament...I need you and lets face it you need me. I bring some serious ratings, generate a ton of heat with these idiot fans. The erupt into hate towards Lively's comments. Lively: APW and Michael Lively were made for each other. I can admit that, and seeing how you are facing me at Shockwave in some ways you agree. This is an opportunity that I will take full advantage of like all my others, a chance to bitch slap the boss, take back my contract which by the way is very lucrative, and work towards cementing my name in history as the first and possibly only man to hold every APW title. The fans break into a "FUCK YOU JESUS" chant. Jeff holds up his mic and Lively quickly covers it up forcing it down. Jeff steps forward getting right into the face of Lively. Lively: Easy big time...you don't want to spoil the fun. I mean we explode right here and some of these fans will get their fill, they wont be purchasing the PPV. You check your blood pressure, inhale a few deep breaths and maybe Cindy can run to get you some baby aspirin to aide your old ass heart from imploding on itself. These comments send Jeff into a trembling fury. Lively just backs up which gives the fans a reason to cheer. Lively: You see Jeff, I know how to get under your skin. I knew the buttons to push, and quite frankly you let me tap dance all over them because you wanted this almost as much as I did. You wanted a chance to step into the ring and make me pay at your hands for what I did to you and your company. Well at Shockwave we both get what we want, it's just that I get a little more when I walk out fully reinstated to APW. There isn't anything you can do about, your magic cape, funny super hero mask, or your weak ass tired wrestling skills that seem to be a little dusty....Jeff quickly steps into Lively sweeps the man over forcing him to land back first on the mat. Lively's eyes seemed shocked as it all happened before he knew what hit him. Jeff looks dead in his face, as he responds to those comments. Jeff: Tired skills looks like they may have just gotten dusted off huh Lively. The fans explode with excitement. Lively jams Jeff's arm to the side rolls backward and up to his feet. The mans face is a little red from embarrassment, and he looks out to the fans who just make things worse for the White Lion. Lively quickly pulls his shirt off over his head ready to engage fully with his future opponent. Security rushes toward the ring to separate the two men. Among these men Dr. Matt and Matt Metal who seem to be doing some behind the scenes work come out to hold Jeff back as Lively is sequestered by four rather large members of security. The JESUS is backed into the ropes and can't seem to get at Jeff. He clears his throat and spits a huge loogie right in Jeff's face. Harvey: That’s disrespect in its highest form right thereThe Canadian doesn't appreciate that gesture at all and breaks free from his friends. He dive bombs the guards holding Lively and they all tumble through the ropes. Lively pinned down by the bigger men eats a few shots from Jeff as the two Matts' try to regain control of the Hurricane. Security stands Lively up and begin dragging him up the ramp. Jeff seems to have calmed down a bit and picks up the microphone one last time to utter a few parting words toward the JESUS as he is carted out. Jeff: LIVELY! You listen and you listen good. At Shockwave, I make sure you get what’s coming to you. I make sure that Michael Lively’s last match ever on APW TV is at Shockwave. Michael Lively, at Shockwave, mark my words, not only will I be responsible for ending your career, I will be responsible to ending your life! THRU HOWLING WINDS…AND POURING RAIN….MICHAEL LIVELY, YOU WILL FEAR…THE HURRICANE!Jeff drops the mic and does the JESUS poses as Raining Blood by Slayer hit’s the PA. The fans cheer for the boss as Jeff points towards Lively as Lively stares him down while being taken out by security. Harvey: Things really gotten heated up there.Chase: We’re lucky they didn’t kill each other tonight.Harvey: One of them may not walk out of Shockwave.Chase: I think that’s something that both of them are will to take a chance on.Overdrive goes to commercial as Jeff does the JESUS pose again.

The lights fade to a dim blue as Black Sabbath's "Iron Man" begins to play. Laser lights and strobe lights are flashing as The Axis of Awesome makes their entrance, drawing loud boos from the crowd! The music transitions to The Killer's "Spaceman" as the three men walk down the ramp, with Cyrus and Biggs in the front, and The Beast behind them. Nicky Paige: Making their way to the ring, at a combined weight of 882 pounds, Chris Cyrus, The Beast and Biggs, The Axis of Awesome!The music keeps switching back and forth between "Iron Man" and "Spaceman" as The Axis makes their entrance. Biggs and Cyrus are mocking the fans as they go along, while The Beast heeds no attention to the crowd. The three men enter the ring, with Biggs and Cyrus mounting opposite turnbuckles and The Beast standing menacingly in the center of the ring. The lights come back on and the music fades and Biggs grabs a mic. Biggs: Shadow and Slade, we heard your little speech about how you having some sort of advantage tonight because we can't sneak up on you. That because you'll be able to see all three of us at all times, that somehow gives the two of you all the advantage you need to defeat us. Are you guys flat out stupid, or just crazy? Three on two odds are still three on two odds, no matter how you stack it. And when the three are as dynamic a group as we are, well, you two numbskulls aren't coming down here for a match, you're walking into your own execution! Just like last week, and the week before that, tonight will end with the AKA beaten and bloodied in the middle of this ring! Can you tell them why, Chris?Cyrus grabs the mic. Cyrus: Because our name says it all, we are AWESOME!Cyrus tosses the mic, and the Axis awaits the AKA. Trick Daddy’s “Let’s Go” hits as the A.K.A. come running out in jeans and black A.K.A. shirts, not wearing true wrestling gear. They run down the ramp and slide under the bottom rope. Shadow and Slade watch as both Biggs and Cyrus back off and Slade and Shadow lunge at The Beast. The bell has not even sounded yet as Shadow goes for a spear and Slade leaps off Shadow’s back into a Lou Thez press using the force of both men to drive the Beast to the mat as Craven begins to hammer away at the face and Shadow taking shots to the gut. The referee tries to pry them off of the Beast while Biggs and Cyrus keep trying to sneak back into the ring, but Craven keeps one eye on the two men. No one is going to sneak up on them. Finally Shadow backs off and the Beast goes to shove Slade off and Craven rolls away as the referee finally calls for the bell and the match begins. The AKA Vs The Axis of Awesome
Harvey: This is what Slade and Shadow have been waiting for.
Chase: And look at them double teaming the Beast
Harvey: Its only fair.
Chase: No its not, its two on one!
Slade circles the ring as the Beast shakes his head and gets back up. Biggs and Cyrus get ready to run in and the ref sees this and stops them as Shadow gets on the ring apron. Slade waits for the Beast to get up and then charges the huge giant. The Beast goes to grab Slade who slides between his legs leaps to the second rope and comes back with a springboard drop kick making the Beasts tumble forward but not fall. He turns and Craven springs up with a powerful solid uppercut, again the Beast stumbles. Slade lands and his opponent grabs him but the neck and lifts him up as Craven does a double throat thrust making the Beast let him go. The fans are on their feet as Craven ducks behind the Beast once more and hit’s the ropes coming back with a leaping clothesline as the Beast turns, and finally comes off his feet. Craven gets back up and stomps the Beast once in the head then tags in Shadow as another roar rips across the arena. He and Slade utilize the five count as Biggs and Cyrus complain to the ref. As the Beast sits up Craven drop kicks him right in the face and Shadow grabs Slade then suplexs his partner hard across the Beast’s chest and jumps up as Craven moves and hit’s a huge splash!
Chase: Whats wrong with these two I thought they were the good guys?!
Harvey: They are, and they are taking the Beast apart.
Shadow holds the cover and the Beats kicks out at one. He is feeling a little phased as Shadow soccer kicks the Beast in the gut.
Chase: Kicking a man while he is down!
Harvey: They have to neutralize the monster of the Axis.
Slade is applauding and the fans are on their feet as the Beast starst to get up and Shadow goes to suplex the Beast who won’t come off the ground. Shadow hits him twice as the Beast fights back and goes to suplex Shadow how turns and slides down his back and stomps the back of the Beast’s leg bringing him to one knee then grabs his head and bulldogs him to the mat. Biggs is livid yelling order to his pet to try and get him to take control as Shadow drops and elbow to the back of the neck, he rolls the Beast over and begins to hammer away at the face as the ref starts the count and Shadow stops at the count of four. They are fired up. Shadow walks over and tags Slade in again who climbs the top rope and Shadow goes to pick up the Beast who breaks the hold. Shadow smiles and drops to the mat as Craven flips over both men grabbing The Beast’s neck and hitting a neck breaker. It comes out of nowhere, such dominance by the A.K.A! Slade stalks the Beast ready for another big move. Craven backs up and goes to charge but Chris Cyrus has had enough he grabs Slade’s leg from ringside tripping The Main Man as The Beast gets up.
Harvey: Come on!
Chase: Its only fair they’ve been double teaming the Beast because they are too scared to fight the giant one on one.
Harvey: What are you talking about Shadow fought him alone last week?!
Slade is helped to his feet by the Beast who shoves Craven hard backwards forcing Craven into the corner and making him fall face first again. Slade starts to get up as The Beast just grabs him by the throat lifting him up and pushing him back onto the top rope as Chris Cyrus tags himself in. The ref is counting as the Beast lifts Slade up higher tilting Craven and driving him over 8 feet in the air into what could be called an overhead suplex. Slade smashes against the mat center of the ring and rolls toward his own corner, not really knowing it. But Cyrus is there to grab Slade’s leg and pulls him back away before Slade could make a tag. Cyrus drops two elbows to the ribs quickly and locks in a headlock killing any steam Slade had earlier. The fans begin to chant “Cra-ven…Cra-ven!” as he tries to fight back as they both work their way back to their feet. Slade delivers two shots to the gut breaking the hold and starting to hit the ropes but Cyrus grabs his hair and drives Slade back to the mat. He picks up Slade and tosses him back into the Axis’ corner and tags in Biggs who steps in the ring with pure confidence and hits Slade with a right hand. He turns to Shadow and taunts him calling for Shadow to come in the ring and when the big man does all three men attack Slade. Cyrus and Beast hit Slade in the chest and choke him while Biggs just stomps Slade’s legs until he falls in the corner. Then Biggs grabs the top rope leaps up and comes back down with a dropkick and rolls backwards with a huge smile. He walks back over and tags in the Beast who steps over the top rope and grabs both of Slade’s legs and hooks Slade then drops back driving Craven into the bottom turnbuckle. Shadow is calling for his partner to come to his senses and get him back in the ring. Slade is coughing as the Beast grabs Slade by the head and pulls him back to his feet and lifts him up into a huge painful bear hug. Slade wrenches in pain as the ref asks Slade if he wants to give it up. Craven shakes his head and his attacker locks it in tighter and Craven tries to fight back, two shots to the temples, bringing his hands together. He drops The Main Man and Slade stumbles back and the Beast goes for a clothesline to bring Craven down but Slade grabs his arm, swings his legs up and around using the Beast’s own momentum to hit a jump swinging DDT! The fans are on their feet! Slade lays there and the Beast starts to get back up. Craven fights his way back to his feet as the giant gets up first getting ready to attack Slade again. He does not allow it though. Craven uses his feet to hit a hard roundhouse kick. Craven jumps with a front kick, as The Beast does not go down. No matter what he does Craven can’t get a second to make a tag. The fans are pushing for him. Craven turns and the monster grabs him by the back of his shirt as Slade make a break for his corner.
Chase: The Beast knows what he is doing. He will not allow Slade to just get away,
Harvey: So close!
Craven tries to tear his shirt but before he can The Beast bulls Slade back and into a huge full nelson slam! Craven crumples on the mat as the Beast goes for a lazy lateral press…
1.…2.…Craven kicks out!
Chase: if the Beast had put all his weight on Slade this would be over!
Harvey: Craven just doesn’t give up!
The Beast walks over at Biggs’ command and tags him in. Shadow is aching to get in the ring as Slade tries to get back up. Biggs taunts Shadow with each shot to Slade, kick, punch even a quick throat thrust to keep Craven standing and stunned. Finally Biggs turns kicks Craven in the gut and hit’s a hard shot DDT. He sits there for a second and then goes for the cover….
Chase: it’s over!
1...2.…Craven kicks out again. Biggs is not happy.
Biggs starts to pick Slade up who fights back in his daze. Two punches to Biggs and he comes back with one of his own. The two trade punches center of the ring until Slade starts to get the upper hand. The fans are cheering again as Slade catches Biggs’ arm and hit’s a big arm drag tossing him to his own corner. Cyrus comes in as Slade goes to tag Shadow distracting the ref. Slade makes the tag to Shadow! The fans are screaming as Shadow starts to cross the ring to Biggs but the ref turns and stops him as Cyrus and Biggs run and grab a confused Slade and hitting him with a double hiptoss and while Cyrus starts hammering away on Slade’s face and Biggs locks in a leg lock. Shadow is trying to get in and the ref is just telling him he saw nothing. The fans are about to riot! Shadow gets out of the ring as Cyrus stays in the ring picking up Craven and shooting him off and hitting him with a knee to the gut as he rolls Craven in mid-air. He grabs Slade by the back of the neck and locks in a choke hold. The fans try to get The Main Man back alive. Cyrus keeps the hold locked in as the ref raises Slade’s arm once and watches it fall. he counts a one, he does it again and it falls….two! He goes for the third and Slade stops it just before it hit’s the mat! The fans are on their feet once more! Cyrus struggles to synch in the hold as Slade stands up and hooks Chris’ head and jaw jacks him! Cyrus stumbles around as Slade struggles to get back up, Biggs tags himself in to keep Slade down and Craven goes for a kick but Biggs grabs Slade’s foot. He laughs and Slade smirks then hit’s a powerful énziguri! Craven is in the middle of the ring a long way away from Shadow who wants to get back in. Biggs is down, knocked senseless by the educated feet of The Main Man.
Harvey: Slade has been beaten down over and over he has to make a tag!
Chase: He can’t he’s got the whole ring to cross.
Harvey: Just half of it.
Slade tries to crawl forward as Biggs shakes his head on the mat. Slade crawls closer as Biggs looks over and sees what’s happening. Cyrus is yelling for Biggs to make a tag he’s so close too. The Beast is howling. Slade gets closer as Biggs gets to his knees and lunges at Slade who dives forward and makes the tag in front of the ref’s eyes as the fans blow the roof off the arena! Shadow coems in as Biggs backs away, Shadow is about to get his retribution as he gets closer. Cyrus comes in and charges Shadow who just gives him a big back body drop. Craven struggles to pull himself up in the corner. The Beast steps between Shadow and Biggs as the sniveling Axis member slides out of the ring and to the entryway
Harvey: Come on, coward!
Shadow decks the Beast, then hits him the gut and follows up with a fast knee to the gut and an elbow to the back of the head all within a few seconds catching the big man off guard. The Beast staggers back as Shadow steps back and comes forward and clotheslines the giant over the top rope. Chris Cyrus is back up and leaping at Shadow who just grabs him by the back of the head and uses his own momentum to launch him over the top rope as well. All three men are now on the ground by the entryway as Slade shakes the cobwebs out and hears the fans chanting. Shadow calls for it and Slade charges hit’s the ropes near Biggs as the crowd counts… “3” ….He hit’s the far side as they chant… “2” Slade comes back and leaps with his strength as the crowd screams “1” and when Shadow lifts Slade up higher pushing him back to eight feet above the ring and over the top rope Craven tucks his head into a fliping spash and the audience yells loudly…
“It’s The Final Countdown!”
Craven collides with the Axis of Awesome hitting the Beast first and making him fly back into Cyrus and Biggs everyone crashing to the entryway. The security is trying to keep some of the fans restrained as Shadow climbs over the top rope and Slade rolls off his opponents, all of them.
Harvey: What distance! He had to clean fifteen feet easily!
Slade stumbles back to his feet as Shadow finally gets his hands on Biggs and shoots him towards the ring, back first into the apron. Shadow starts to stalk his victim ready when he starts to charge Biggs Cyrus lunges forward and grabs Shadow’s leg tipping the big man. As he gets back up Biggs kicks him in the gut and slams Shadow head first into the apron. Slade is kicking The Beast in the head and trying to fend of Cyrus at the same time. Biggs rolls Shadow into the ring and crawl in after him, stepping over Shadow and nailing him in the face over and over again as the referee tries to break things up. At the count of four Biggs backs off and backs off ready to give Shadow a running kick to the head. He runs forward and Shadow grabs him and stops him dead in his tracks and shoves him back, into the ref knocking the ref down as Shadow drops to a knee. The Beast is back in the ring and delivers a huge double axe handle smash to Shadow’s back. Biggs is back up directing traffic as Cyrus comes in too, Slade fighting to regain his senses after being knocked down outside. All three men begin to stomp Shadow over and over again. When suddenly the fans show approval, Slade has found the strength to climb the top rope one more time and come off in a rolling wheel kick nailing the Beast in the face, bringing the tower down. Cyrus and Biggs are suddenly thrown back as Shadow powers out from between the two. Biggs rolls to the outside.
Harvey: Its Utter Chaos in there!
Chase: The Axis is having trouble maintaining order!
Harvey: Yeah, if by maintaining order you mean winning.
Cyrus is whipped towards Slade Craven who hit’s a beautiful spine buster, and he rolls out. But The Beast is back up again, locking in his Sleeper Hold on Shadow from behind!
Chase: This is it!
Biggs is back on the ring apron climbing in the ring with the Xtream Championship! As Shadow didn’t bring out the Overdrive title. Shadow brings his leg back up into a low blow to the approval of the fans. Slade is still catching his breath as The beast drops Shadow and Biggs flies in… But Shadow sticks out his arm, grabs Biggs by the throat and in one motion delivers a swinging choke slam!
Harvey: Shadow! Shadow!
Biggs rolls out of the ring as a hobbling Beast clutching his nether region turns to Slade who kicks him in the gut and drops a huge Fly Fly! The Fans are roaring but The Beast doesn’t go down, he stumbles and turns to be met with the Big Boot from Shadow. The Beast hit’s the mat as Shadow goes for the pin and Craven jumps on as well. The ref rolls over to make the count….
1.….2.……..3! The fans are in an uproar!
Winners: The AKA Harvey: They did it!Chase: Impossible they cheated!Harvey: They evened the score!Cyrus and Biggs are on either side of the ring as the bell sounds and The A.K.A.’s music begins again. Shadow stands up as does Slade stumbling around wore out from the brutal battle. Biggs backs off and Cyrus tries to duck in but when Slade turns and eyes him he backs away. Both men start for the ramp. As Biggs and Cyrus inch their way back up the ramp, Biggs has a mic in hand. Biggs: Shadow! Slade! Don't think too highly of your little victory tonight, because in the end, these little battles are inconsequential! The fact of the matter is that everything is going according to plan! Over the past few weeks, you two have been battered and beaten to the point where there's no chance that either one of you will be anywhere near 100% for Shockwave, while Cyrus and myself are as fresh and healthy as spring chickens! At Shockwave, our plans will reach full fruition as Cyrus will successfully defend his Xtreme Title against the drunken wonder, and I will become the new APW Overdrive Champion!Before Biggs can continue, he's interrupted by Max Carter's music. Everyone watches as Max walks out from backstage with a smile on his face. Max: Biggs. I have been thinking about what you have been talking about these past few weeks. You keep talking about how you want Shadow one on one. But you haven’t faced up to that at all. You’ve had The Beast and Chris Cyrus with you every step of the way. So. To be fair. There is only one thing I can do, except to make you match at Shockwave for the Overdrive title, a steel cage match!His music begins as the fans deafen and rattle the walls. Shadow nods happily pointing to Biggs and making the throat cutting motion. Biggs’ face is livid! Backstage the world champion makes his way down the hall with the APW world championship held proudly on his shoulders. A confident grin remains stuck on his face; as he approaches his next match up with light hearted confidence, rather then intense anger and frustration. Perhaps he has an extra trick or two up his sleeve to ensure the victory falls into his hands or maybe he’s simply underestimating his opponent; whatever it may have bee, his grim quickly vanishes when Pence Weatherlight approaches him stopping Level-One dead in his tracks.
Level-One: What the hell do you want Pence?
Pence Weatherlight stares at Level-One; he doesn’t say anything which quickly angers Level-One.
Level-One: I said what the HELL do you want you mute piece of shit?
Pence Weatherlight shakes his head back and forth; in pity for the world champion. Lifting his hand to his chin he conjures up a thought.
Pence Weatherlight: You know I can’t say I expected this one from you. I mean, berating your special guest referee who can ultimately determine whether or not you retain your APW world championship? Level, you aren’t as smart as people give you credit for.
Level-One bites his tongue and lifts his head up in the air; trying to hold back his one instinct--unload a shot to the face of Pence Weatherlight and put him out for the night--but what Pence said was true. Pence could screw him over and quite possibly have Jesse Nunez of all people walk out the APW world champion and he was going to make sure that wouldn’t happen.
Level-One: Listen you punk! I’ll go straight to President Jeff and show him this tape, clearly you are referencing a screw job at Shockwave and APW being following the ‘’honor first’’ business model will NOT have any of it.
Pence Weatherlight smiles.
Pence Weatherlight: I’m sorry to break it to you, Level. Honor has left this place since you’ve decided to step foot in it.
Level-One extends his finger towards Pence Weatherlight, clearly having enough of the former champions lip.
Level-One: Pence, you listen to me. You count that match right down the middle--or those FANS will realize just how big of a sell out you are. I mean, if you were to help Nunez what do you think the fans will think about you? You would’ve avoided a real champion in me--to pin some chump who didn’t deserve the championship in the first place.
Pence Weatherlight swats Level-Ones hand from his face; simply by instinct Level-One throws a wild right hand which Pence Weatherlight is able to duck. Pence Weatherlight preps a fighting stance as Level-One takes a few steps back.
Level-One: Look, you call my match down the middle---and me and you, we’ll do this thing again for real next time.
Level-One cautious with his movement steps around Pence Weatherlight who holds his guard up until the two men are separated by distance. Pence Weatherlight lowers his hands and watches as Level-One makes his way down the hall and towards the curtains he too has walked out every night--about the ONLY thing these two men have in common as we go to our final commercial break

APW Overdrive comes back from a commercial break with the camera focused on Harvey and Chase at their announce table. Harvey: Welcome back to Overdrive! We've seen a great night of action thus far, but it will pale in comparison to our next pay per view extravaganza, APW Shockwave, live from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on Sunday, August 30!Chase: What a night it's going to be, as four titles will be decided!The screen transitions to a black and blue background like the one on the PPV poster on the front of the board as Static-X's "Electric Pulse" plays, and the participants of the Fatal Four Way are pictured with their names listed beneath their pictures. Harvey: First off, we have a Fatal Four Way match between The Zero, The Border Control Specialist Ted Bennet, Victor Hades, and the incomparable John Green!Chase: There's no titles on the line, just pride, but this promises to be a smash-mouth, hard hitting match!Harvey: This match has now been made into an Elimination Style of a match.Streets Wilson and Joe Martinez are shown next. Chase: Streets Wilson will face Joe Martinez in a match where both men feel that they have a lot to prove! Harvey: Streets has seen his career mocked at every corner in recent months, while this will be Martinez's third match in APW! A win would be huge for either competitor! Next up, the screen shows Jason Royce with the CWF Xtreme Title around his waist, and opposite him, Rocky Starr. Harvey: Jason Royce will defend the recently resurrected CWF Xtreme Title against the returning Rocky Starr! Chase: These two have a long history, and they look to add another chapter to it at Shockwave!The screen shifts to Shadow, with the Overdrive belt slung over his shoulder, and Biggs, with fencing behind them. Chase: The next match is a culmination of one of the most violent and personal feuds we've seen in some time as Biggs tries to not only win Shadow's Overdrive Championship, but prove him wrong for the comments he made at Mayhem a few months back!Harvey: And we just found out moments ago that this match will be contested inside a Steel Cage! Biggs has eluded Shadow's grasp thus far, but he'll have nowhere to run at Shockwave!Suddenly, the screen catches fire, and Chris Cyrus and Slade Craven are shown. Cyrus is holding his APW Xtreme Title up. Harvey: The rivalry between the Axis of Awesome and the AKA has gotten so heated that Chris Cyrus will defend his APW Xtreme Title in a Blaze of Glory match!Chase: Whoever sets their opponent on fire first walks away the champion! What an unpredictable match this is going to be!The background goes back to normal as President Jeff and Michael Lively are shown. Harvey: Michael Lively has been a thorn in President Jeff's side for the past few months, and the Pres looks to get rid of Lively once in for all!Chase: If Lively wins, he gets an APW Contract! If Jeff wins, Lively is gone! This is a high stakes, highly personal match-up!The screen then shifts to showing Level-One and Jesse Nunez, with Pence in a ref's shirt in between them. Level-One has the APW Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder. Harvey: And in our main event, Level-One will defend the APW Heavyweight Championship against the winner of the Test for the Best Tournament, Jesse Nunez!Chase: What a travesty this match is! Not only is Pence Weatherlight the special guest ref, but in order to win, Level-One has to pin Nunez for the count of six! The odds are against the champ in this one!The screen transitions back to the announcers. Harvey: Folks, make sure that you don't miss Shockwave! Do whatever you have to to join us on Sunday, August 30, to witness this historic night of action! The camera goes to the ring for the main event Nicky Paige: The following contest is a non-title match, scheduled for one fall, and is your APW Overdrive main event!"Hate Me Now" by Nas feat. Puff Daddy hits the PA as Joe Martinez storms out from behind the curtain to an arena full of cheering fans. Paige: Making his way to the ring, weighing in at 225 pounds, from Chicago, Illinois, “J-Mart” Joe Martinez!Harvey: This match up stems from a backstage argument these two had last week! I'm glad to see somebody stand up to Level-One the way Martinez has! What an opportunity he has in his first match here in APW!Chase: I think that J-Mart has bitten off more than he can chew talking to Level-One the way he has been! Plus, the guy calls himself the GOAT! That's just weird!Harvey: It's an accronym for the Greatest of All Time, and while it may be premature for Joe to be calling himself that, one can't question his confidence!Chase: I still think he has a fixation on farm animals.Joe makes his way down the ramp, with a serious look of determination on his face. He pauses between the ramp and the ring apron and looks around the arena. Thousands of fans are chanting his name. He walks over to the steel steps and jogs up them. He climbs the turnbuckle while still on the outside of the ring. He closes his eyes and absorbs the roar of the crowd. He raises one arm in the air. The crowd goes wild. Joe slowly lowers his arm and swiftly turns around, staring deeply into the eyes of his opponent. He leaps down into the ring and walks over to the turnbuckle on the opposite side of the ring. He climbs the turnbuckle and does the same on that turnbuckle as he did on the first. “Put You On Game,” by Lupe Fiasco blasts the PA system, as Level-One steps up on-top of the ramp. Red smoke swirls beneath him, and a string of red and blue pyro shoots up into the air he raises his APW Heavyweight Championship high in the air. Paige: And his opponent, weighing in at 273 pounds, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he is the APW Heavyweight Champion of the World, Level-One!Chase: And here comes the APW Champion! He's got to be happy getting such an easy match heading into the absolute travesty of a title defense he has against Jesse Nunez at Shockwave!Harvey: Now hold on just a minute! J-Mart is a far ways from being an easy opponent, and Level-One got himself into the mess that he's in at Shockwave by opening his big mouth! It serves Level-One right for all the crap he's been saying!Chase: Regardless of how unfair it is, it'll just allow Level-One to show his greatness all the more!Level-One puts his title on his shoulder and slowly begins to walk down the ramp, being booed loudly by the crowd. Level-One stops before eying down a fan, mocking the fan in the process. Level-One turns, and climbs up onto the apron. He climbs up turn-buckle, hoisting his title high in the air. Level-One hops down, and awaits for the fight in-front of him. The ref calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING! Level-One vs. Joe Martinez
The two men have a brief stare down before engaging in an elbow and collar tie up in the center of the ring. Level-One uses his size advantage to push J-Mart back into the ropes, and whips him towards the opposite ropes. The champ bounces off the ropes himself, and nails Martinez with a Running Big Boot! He then pulls J-Mart right back up, grabbing a hold of his arm and pulling him in for a Flipping Clothesline! Martinez is flipped inside out, and crashes to the mat hard. Level-One grabs a hold of the top rope and looks out the fans in the front row, taunting them.
Harvey: What disrespect from Level-One! He's purposefully turning his back on Joe Martinez!
Chase: Level-One has no reason to show the self proclaimed farm animal any respect!
As Level-One is giving the fans a piece of his mind, Martinez has gotten to his feet, and runs up to Level-One, grabbing him from behind for a Backstabber! J-Mart goes for a quick cover, 1 . . . Level-One kicks out!
Harvey: That'll teach Level-One to turn his back on an opponent!
Martinez is up to his feet quickly, and proceeds to give Level-One a few stomps before pulling him up and whipping him towards the ropes! Level-One reverses the Irish Whip, sending J-Mart towards the ropes instead, but on the rebound, J-Mart drills Level-One with a Flying Clothesline, twisting backwards in the air to hit Level-One with his tricep! A Level-One gets up, Martinez gives him a couple of quick jabs to the face before spitting in his hand and slapping the taste out of Level-One's mouth! The fans are getting behind Martinez as he gets Level-One back up to a vertical base and backs him into the corner. Martinez then mounts the second rope, and begins to unload punches to the face of the champ as the crowd counts along, “1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10!” After the tenth punch, Martinez appeals to the fans, allowing Level-One to deliver a sick Powerbomb to his adversary! Level-One rolls Martinez onto his belly, and gets to his side, repeatedly driving his knees into J-Mart's ribs! After about four shots, Level-One pulls his opponent back up and gives him a Belly to Belly Suplex! The crowd boos Level-One as he pulls the downed J-Mart towards the ropes, placing his neck onto the bottom rope, and pressing down with his boot on the back of J-Mart's head, chocking him! The ref starts the manditory five count, which Level-One adheres to on “4.” Before Martinez can get his neck off the rope, Level-One gets a running start and gives the bottom rope a stiff Soccer Kick, sending Martinez flying back! Martinez clutches his throat in pain as he lays on the mat!
Harvey: What a dirty move by Level-One! This is an old fashioned grudge match, and the champ is certainly fighting like it is!
Level-One looks to capitalize on the fragile state of J-Mart's throat, attempting to lock in the Tri-Angle Choke! As the champ tries to lock on the hold, Martinez manages to wriggle free before it can be properly applied, and takes advantage of Level-One's position on his back to deliver a quick kick to Level-One's bum, drawing cheers from the crowd, and enraging the champion! J-Mart has a confindent look on his face as he motions for Level-One to get up! The champ grabs a hold of the rope and pulls himself up, maintaining a hold of the rope after he's to his feet. Martinez tries to rush in, but the ref holds him back, stating that Level-One has a hold of the rope. As the ref tries to hold Martinez back, Level-One decks him with a straight punch to the face! The crowd boos loudly at the cheap shot!
Chase: That was a veteran maneuver by Level-One there, keeping a hold of the rope, preventing the farm animal from legally getting to him! Smart wrestling right there!
Harvey: Will you please stop with that farm animal garbage!? Level-One is flat out cheating, and he knows it!
Level-One pulls his opponent back up to his feet, and lifts J-Mart up for a Stalling Suplex! As Level-One has Martinez up, J-Mart pulls his knees down to drive them into the crown of the champs head, forcing Level-One to release the hold and drop J-Mart down! Martinez quickly responds with a Swinging Neckbreaker, pinning Level-One, 1 . . . Level-One kicks out again! Martinez gives him a couple of punches to the side of the head, and hooks the leg this time, 1 . . . 2 . . . Level-One kicks out! Martinez gets to his feet, dragging Level-One up with him, and locking on a Side Headlock! After a few wrenches, Martinez gets down to a knee and transitions into a Fireman's Carry! With Level-One on the mat, Martinez locks on another Side Headlock, trying to wear down the champion! After a few moments, Martinez releases the hold, and goes towards Level-One's legs, going for a Sharpshooter! Before he can apply it, Level-One kicks him off with such force that it sends Martinez flying back through the ropes to the floor! The fans gasp at the sickening thud that can be heard throughout the arena as Joe's left shoulder hits hard on the floor mat!
Harvey: Level-One countered an attempted Sharpshooter from Biggs a few weeks ago, and this week is no different against Joe Martinez! J-Mart landed very badly there, it appears!
Chase: Level-One is the champion for many reasons, and his ability to prevent submission moves from being locked in is certainly one of those reasons!
The crowd is in an uproar as Level-One steps out through the ropes, and bounces Martinez's head off the apron, before rolling J-Mart back into the ring! Level-One whips Martinez into the corner, and grabs a hold onto Martinez's head, and steps up onto the top rope, pulling Martinez up to the second rope. Level-One then jumps off the ropes, hitting him with a Top Rope Spinning DDT! Level-One goes for the pin, 1 . . . 2 . . . Martinez kicks out! Level-One stays on the attack, giving Martinez some Forearm shots to the face as he pulls him up, and gets behind to get in position for a German Suplex! Martinez gives him a few elbows to the face, performs a standing switch, and tries to pull Level-One up, but Level-One blocks, and gives Martinez a few elbows of his own before pulling a standing switch of his own! Level-One then performs a German Suplex on J-Mart, driving Martinez's neck and shoulders into the mat! Level-One bridges into a pin, 1 . . . 2 . . . Martinez kicks out! The crowd gets a “GOAT! GOAT! GOAT!” chant going, trying to will J-Mart on. Level-One is to his feet first, and mercilessly taunts the Chicago-bred superstar as J-Mart slowly gets up. As Martinez is on all fours, Level-One rushes in, giving him a Soccer Kick to the ribs! Level-One continues to kick the ribs again and again as the crowd's chants shift to loud boos!
Harvey: This hasn't been much of a wrestling match, more of a backlot brawl!
Chase: Well, maybe this will teach Ol' MacDonald's favorite wrestler to flap his mouth!
After about a dozen vicious kicks, Level-One pulls Martinez back up, and whips him into the ropes, lifting him up for a Spinebuster! On the way down, Martinez manages to hook his arm around Level-One's head, hitting with a variation DDT upon impact of the Spinebuster! Both men are laid out on the mat as the crowd goes wild, and the ref starts to count to 10! “1...2...3....” Level-One is clutching his head as he begins to stir. “4....5...6...” Joe Martinez is coming to as well, and both men start to push themselves up! “7...8...” Both men are almost to their feet! “9!” Level-One and Joe Martinez are both up, and Level-One throws the first punch, which Martinez blocks, much to the delight of the crowd! Martinez answers with a right of his own, knocking Level-One back a a bit! Martinez continues to connect with right hands, backing Level-One into the ropes, and whipping him to the opposite side! Martinez catches Level-One on the run for a ring shaking Spinebuster! The crowd is in a frenzy as Martinez walks up to Level-One's head, removes his elbow pad, and throws it into the crowd before running the ropes and stopping about six inches away from Level-One to go for the SINAD! Level-One rolls right out of the way in the nick of time, sending Martinez's elbow right into the mat!
Harvey: Level-One is lucky that he got out of the way of the SINAD, otherwise this one would be over!
Chase: SINAD is an acronym, right?
Harvey: I believe so. I think it stands for So I'll Need A Doctor!
Chase: What is it with Joe Martinez and his acronyms?
The crowd is still electric as both men get up, Joe rubbing his elbow. The two men begin to trade punches, back and forth, neither man gaining the advantage! After about seven punches apiece, Level-One jumps up and hits the Pele Kick from out of nowhere! The crowd boos loudly as the proud champion covers Martinez, 1 . . . 2 . . . Martinez kicks out! Level-One is showing no signs of frustration, but rather, stays on his opponent, grabbing a hold of Martinez's legs, trying to turn him over for the Boston Crab! After a brief struggle, Level-One manages to get the hold locked in deep! The crowd is trying to cheer Joe Martinez on, but Martinez raises his hand up, looking like he's on the verge of tapping! Level-One is yelling to the ref, “Ask him! Ask that punk-b****!” The pain is evident on J-Mart's face as he desperately tries to hang on! All of a sudden, Martinez seems to get a wave of strength that allows him to push up, and crawls towards the ropes, drawing loud cheers from the fans! Level-One has is pissed off as J-Mart manages to get his hand on the bottom rope, and the ref starts the five count! Level-One releases on the count of four, and gets up to stomp the small of the back again and again with pitbull like tenacity! Level-One pulls Martinez up, and whips him towards the ropes, but Martinez reverses the whip, and somehow gets Level-One up for a Samoan Drop on the rebound! The crowd is on their feet as J-Mart coils up for the Chi Splash, motioning for Level-One to get up!
Harvey: This could be a big upset here, as Martinez is looking for the Chi Splash!
As Level-One gets to his feet, J-Mart gets him in the Urinagi position, but Level-One elbows his way out! As Martinez is slightly stunned, Level-One lifts him up to hit with the Darkness Shine! Rather than going for the cover, Level-One pulls Martinez back up and hoists him up for the Level Advance, nailing it and earning loud boos from the crowd! Level-One forgoes the cover once more, instead walking to the legs of the barely conscious Joe Martinez, and locks in the House of Pain submission! Martinez shows no signs of tapping out, but after a few moments, he goes limp! The ref checks his arm once, and immediately calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING!
Winner: Level One Paige: Here is your winner, by knockout, Level-One!The crowd boos loudly as “Put You On Game” blares over the speakers. The ref hands Level-One his APW Championship belt, and raises his arm in victory! Harvey: What a classless, brutal finish to this match! Level-One wanted to send a message to Joe Martinez, and he did just that here tonight! Still, what an effort from Martinez, he can't be disappointed in his efforts tonight!Chase: Plain and simple, Level-One won this grudge match, and showed the world why Jesse Nunez doesn't stand a chance at Shockwave!Level-One raises his hands in victory, as his music blasts the stereo--but suddenly, the music cuts out. Jesse Nunez’s ‘’Basic Thuganomics remix’’ attacks the PA system sending the fans in a frenzy of cheers where as Level-One stares down the ramp, clearly not happy about the sudden reception the number 1 contender receives from the crowd. Jesse Nunez throws his cap into the crowd, removes the dog tags from his neck and tosses that too in the crowd. Jesse Nunez points at Level-One and nods his head. Level-One sees this and crouches low ready to attack the minute the number 1 contender chooses to approach. Harvey: Jesse Nunez is out here and it appears as if he’s going to crash Level-One’s after the match celebration.Chase: Jesse Nunez is stupid for coming out here! He better go back to his locker room where he belongs he has NO business out here!Jesse Nunez sprints down the ramp, as the crowd gives a huge pop. Level-One’s eyes expand as he too didn’t even expect this. Jesse Nunez slides under the bottom rope, and Level-One is all over him like flies on shit. Stopping at Nunez trying to neutralize him before he becomes a viable threat--but his stomps seem to bare no effect! Harvey: Nunez up to his feet!Chase: Jesse Nunez is going to get his butt handed to him a week before he looses his match at Shockwave, how awesome is this!Level-One goes for a clothesline but Nunez ducks underneath, hit’s the ropes, and comes back with a shoulder block, sending Level-One stumbling backwards. Jesse Nunez backs up, and hits Level-One with another shoulder block! Jesse Nunez watches Level-One stumble back and fall over into the ropes, but it also propels him back to his feet vertically. Jesse Nunez is up again, backs off the ropes, this time taking Level-One off his feet with a third flying shoulder block! Jesse Nunez throws up his world life fingers to the crowd applause. Harvey: Jesse Nunez appears to be on the up and up tonight, Level-One is in some trouble!Chase: Jesse Nunez is on steroids, he’s a CHEAT!Level-One slowly pulls himself to his feet and is immediately scooped up by Jesse Nunez. At the top of the ramp however, Pence Weatherlight steps through the curtain with his referee shirt on. Pence sprints down to the ring, while Jesse Nunez takes a few seconds to show boat before he plans to drop Level-One with the resurrection but before Jesse Nunez can put Level-One out, Pence is in the ring and pulls Level-One off of Jesse Nunez by his leg; this action actually as Pence Weatherlight receiving heat from the crowd. Harvey: After weeks and weeks of physical attack by Level-One; it appears as if Jesse Nunez isn’t receiving the short end of the stick here tonight!Chase: I hate Pence, but I don’t hate him as much anymore--he did the right thing as special guest referee for the title match at Shockwave!Harvey: This isn’t shockwave, Pence Weatherlight could have sat back and let this all happen and nobody would’ve had their feelings hurt.Jesse Nunez is irate throwing his hands up in the air; feeling slighted about the situation. Pence Weatherlight is trying to calm Jesse Nunez down, but Nunez merely shoves Pence Weatherlight down. On the ground Level-One retrieves his APW world championship and cradles it closely to his chest, as he watches along with the rest of the crowd; Pence Weatherlight and Jesse Nunez sharing a string of words back and forth. The champion had a new opening… Harvey: What a night, who knows how things go from here! Tune into Shockwave, August 30th on Pay-per-view, good night folks!Overdrive goes off the air
