As our scene fades in, there is no gentle lead-in or slow-paced establishment of setting. It's just simply Carl “The Essence Of Egotism” Cage, from the neck up, staring right at you! You can't see what's in front of him, beside him, or behind him. There's just Cage ...only Cage. It's ALL CAGE...
Cage: Kind of like looking into a man's mind, huh? If you could give an image to the APW roster and management's mind, this is how it would look.
The Essence Of Egotism's eyes are intensely focused on the camera, and you eventually forget he's addressing anyone until him get's ready to speak.
Cage: I'm under your skin like a vein, and just like those veins, it's through me that my oppenent's will live or die when I next appear at a APW event. Yes, I'm some one that will spout off about murdering you in that VERY ring...

Cage: ...They are mine to shape and decide upon. I can break a man's back as simply as I breathe air, and that's always been my style. What happens to our bodies, while tragic, never fully destroys us. Some recover physically, some move on and focus on their minds, while some simply let this mortal life pass them by in faith of the spiritual reward.

There are men on different sides of the wrestling battle. For me, I’m The Strongest Wrestler in this business today who decides whoever's fate and Destiny, it won’t be very pretty and things will get graphic. So if you have children make sure there not watching as when I'm in that ring I love my opponent's blood on my hands, as your be laying there motionless, I will be standing there victorious. For the rest of you, the pathetic loser’s that you are, the thousands and thousands in attendance will see Carl Cage crush you with his bare hands. You are nothing I’m just going to scrape you out of my way to the World Championship, so who ever is holding it when the management decide to unleash me the beast, monster and evil one on you better be warned that you will be meeting HELL himself!!!
Cage's eyebrows raise in query and a smirk of cockyiness appears on his face.
Cage: Scary, isn't it, to think that I can cripple you with my bare hands whenever I want? It's a fear that only comes with time...

The camera drifts down to where Carl's hand is placed flat-palmed against his chest.
Cage: You should know your personal armageddon is upon you, APW. Your never have anyone and never will have anyone that has the ability to deal with me and no-one will be able to handle getting into another building again to even TEST ME...THE BEST!!!
The camera pans out slightly and you can physically see Carl relaxing a little more as he begins to speak again.
Cage: I have seen some promo's here and they make me laugh, I’m sure as hell going to have alot of easy win's here in APW as half of you don't know what your doing. The place is full of drunks and freaks and I'm going to clear them out like the worthless trash they are.
Carl just gets close to the camera and whisper’s “You better be ready for The Essence Of Egotism as I’m going to be in your nightmares, your kids nightmares and your whole family’s nightmares, after they see what I am capable to doing to you in the ring and out of the ring."
