Thanks for bearing with us! Let me know what you think. What you liked. What you didn't.
The angles, the storylines, the draft picks, the Touts even. What worked-- what didn't?
Thanks to Speede, Gooch, TMarv, Jules, and AJP for assisting me with matches.
Thanks to (deep breath)... Zing, Logan, Mannie, Hyatt, AJP, KJE, Knoxville, Gooch, Jules/Guv'nor, TMarv/Duvall, TJ, Valo, and Christian Kane for segments!
Special thanks to Rebel for the match graphics and Jeff for the HoF video.
Let me know if I missed anyone.
I must say, I'm pleased with the show's turnout, although a few hours later than usual-- but it should be a good read thanks to you guys for giving me fantastic material to work with. Thanks, guys!

I a was a good show. Took this long for mme to read it all. Worked for 13 hours yesterday and starting another one right now. It all felt like....well a supershow. It had big time feel to it. The drafts were good. Lots of drama too. Also the match graphics were a nice touch as well.

I thought Overdrive was gonna get someone? Well this brings a stack of great talent to Asylum and I for one am thrilled! KJE in the building every show? Kash might forget what he's suppose to be doing...

Overdrive did get someone dude. That Anthony Washington guy and I thought Christian Kane wanted to go onto Overdrive?

Haven't read it fully yet but I'll leave some stuff.
The match graphics were cool, though I think that if they're going to be used, they should be used for every match. At least when I was looking at the show, I think the Cid Phoenix match didn't have one, nor did the Kane/Mannie match. Just one of those things, I guess.
Other than that, there were some solid segments. I'd almost say that there needs to be more stories going on since everything seems to be filtering through Duvall/Sienna which makes it seem like one large story. Perhaps some that aren't connected could work well.
Good matches. Some shorter ones to show a squash/no show I assume, but the title matches were good. The whole show had a big time vibe to it which was the intent. Nicely done to everyone that helped with the matches and to everyone that RPed to help give the show that feel.
As for the people drafted...nothing really surprised me. Okay, maybe the Washington one, but that's probably because I haven't been paying as close attention as I possibly should. Though, I don't think he was ever announced? I know Gooch announced it in a tout, but I don't remember if he was officially drafted via one of the heads of the show. That might be my only complaint about the draft. Alexander going to Asylum was a no brainer, really, and interesting to see KJE and Kane going there as well. Should be interesting to see that story continue there, though hopefully it doesn't clog up Meltdown and make it harder for other people on Meltdown to get the big time recognition.
Those are just some thoughts though! Props to Evan for getting the show up. Might have been a bit later than normal (by a few hours) but that's no big deal. The show was still up the night of and the quality didn't suffer one bit. Quite the opposite actually.
Well done, Meltdown!

CJ, to answer some things very quickly:
1. The Phoenix match didn't have an actual graphic, rather just two silhouettes. Could've used it but chose not to. Also, I didn't wanna ask Rebel to make four different graphics for the possible main event outcomes ;D haha
2. The Washington draft was announced.
Thanks for feedback guys, please keep it coming. This helps me, TMarv, and the roster!

As always, glad I could help.
I'm a huge fan of graphics. During results I love seeing graphics. I know this game is a lot about imagination, but having some visualization really hits that home.
Great job on the show all the way around!

All these draft picks hopefully me and the new blood on Meltdown can deliver to a top priority. I'm the Johnny Knuckles of Meltdown which isn't a bad thing. I want to entertain and every rp will be as crazy and expect Regis to be in person next Meltdown. I know titles can appear on Meltdown but I didn't get Mannie getting drafted. Most guys who win it and lose are atuomatically drafted ex. Envi & Logan Alexander. Should of held off on that one. Either way the matches spoke in volumes, there wasn't too much filelr and The Guv'nor is an interesting chracter. I want to fued with Jules again. I did with Caine and I only beat him once out of four times we fought. Knoxville challenging two men was impressive would of been nice to go to the top but it's good for him to earn it. I am thinking of ym nexy roleplay Regis & Trevor go to a day spa and they watn happy endings.... It's gonna be great. KEEP up the good work guys love you.

These are as I read thoughts. - I'm kinda sad that Logan will no longer be a fixture of Meltdown, much how Lively did when he was NA champion. His interactions with Sienna and Duvall were lovely and this is no exception. I like that Logan is having fun with his moral victory, that's what a face should do, when he loses, he find something that he can hold as a victory. I enjoyed Sienna's breakdown, showing that what Logan said had some truth to it. This is just the beginning of a great show. - I enjoyed LA's exit speech, I like that he feels he did the fans proud with his reign when compared to Evan and Lively, two of the more prominent NA champs. I wasn't sure how I felt about Mannie really, he's sympathetic one minute, the next, asshole. I think, while i enjoyed the Zing/Mannie story, it didn't really help the character of Young Mannie. All in all, I enjoyed the back and forth, introducing the new champion while sending off the old one. Congrats to LA for his promotion to Asylum, welcome to the foray man. - I like the short follow from AJP following Asylum, saving her reasons maybe for a roleplay or the show or not at all. Keeping the interest in the events. - Great title match and congrats to Mannie on the first successful defense. Really loved the flow and what not, kinda anti-climatic finish, if this is the finish, to this story. I mean, given the events that happened to his uncle, I would think Mannie would want to really hurt Zing. But it was still a great match. - Nice segment from LA and KJE, had LA not had that humble, "Moving on" segment earlier, this segment would have some logic people (myself included) would have been wondering why LA had not beat the snot out of KJE given their past. I like the exchange between the two enemies, AND THERE'S A FAKE CROWBAR ASSAULT! I loved the ending. - Short squash match for Cid. Good to see that the no shows are low I think this was the only squash match on the main card. - GAAAAH INSIDER TERMS!!!!!!! Pet peeve sorry, but really you're gonna call the fans marks? Just call them fans, sheep, mindless idiots that eat up whatever is thrown in their mouth. Also, coding guideline, got them for a reason Havok, you know that. Besides from those two, good segment hyping up the second of three big matches. - Great match written between CK and Havok, good action, great commentary. Helluva fight between them and you guys couldn't make it easy for the judges could you? - Ok, given he's newish, Knoxville there's a coding guide that we all should follow, here it is apwprez.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=generalinfo&action=display&thread=8239nice segment setting up your return match to America. I liked that you were aware of the possible censor ships of TV and wrote that you were smoking weed in a "cigarette". I'm a sucker for legal realism in my wrestling. - I shouldn't shove all teh blame to you and you Havok, Evan, Marv, Jeff, Biggs, Rebel, whoever is putting whateever show together on that day, should be looking for this as well. Helps make the show look more uniform. But again, whoever is putting the show together has a hard enough time doing that, making sure everyone's segment is in that they sent in, making sure they all fit in order, that the matches are in, so having to make sure your work fit the coding guide to the results doesn't help. A uniform show looks better. - Nice win for Knoxville in his return and now he looks like a beast. - Nice post win promo too. Coding again, but I liked that you censored yourself. I also liked that you're taking on two guys instead of one. Can't wait to see what you have in store for everyone next week. - Congrats to CK for his promotion as well, sucks we won't see a Deli/CK interaction on a weekly basis, but we got enough cooks on Asylum for CK to party with. - It sucks for Evan, got stuck with a guy who has a past for no showing, but he did his best, I don't know if it was judged by best single RP or team effot, dunno if it would have mattered if KD didn't show. Good match, Good win for NBK nonetheless, can't wait to see how they responded to being challenged by one man. - Dunno how i feel about the Regis tout/promo thing. Kinda contradictory. Says Trevor is one of the high profile names on Meltdown on his second week on the roster. I don't understand Regis in real life, but I really don't understand him now. Some errors "He hopes Mannie regains his title" "And for that we think you" it wasn't a bad promo, just a bit weird. - Congrats to Anthony for getting drafted. This one tbh had me scratching my head. T but I went back and read Anthony's RPs and he's deserved this. - Great win by Warren Peace and a great showing by all, sucks that Double Dee is out due to real life as I loved him. Great match, well written. - Nice to see LA tell AJP to stay back, for her safety and acknowledging rules that are rules. Like that they played up their return to being on the same show. - GOOOOOOOOOOOOCH! Nice tout from him and it builds Anthony up as someone to watch on OD. - Congrats to Niobe and LA, nice win, and well written match. - I loved that LA got the last laugh on Duvall, not only with the Stryke Force on KJE but also the heads up about the tag team titles. - Congrats to KJE on her promotion. CK, KJE, LA, AJP, TJ, Asylum, home of the initials. A lot of shit's gonna happen on Asylum now, it's gonna be some great stuff. You thought Overdrive was segment heavy in the summer LOOK OUT BIGGSY! - Guv'nor and Mr. Dangerous? Jules loves using Dangerous in his stories. Haha, I'm looking forward to see who the two best are, figuring one has to be Finnish Phenom, given his past with Duvall, but I could be wrong. I loved that there's gonna be someone on Meltdown as a Meltdown megastar to annoy Duvall. - WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THATS A MAIN EVENT FOR A SUPER SHOW! First off, CK gets outnumbered on like a nightly basis, y'all should follow the man's twitter feed for further information. Like i said, Sex Addicted Arrogance. A helluva back and forth, great match. Congrats to Mannie on the retention, not the regaining of his title. Congrats to Mannie on getting promoted to Asylum. You've made a turn from when you were smoking weed on national TV mannie and it's one for hte better. All in all a great super show. This is what a super show should look like. THAT SAIDThere are some large and I mean LARGE issues facing Meltdown right now. And with the help of TJ's patent Pending Meltdown Analysis, I shall show you what I mean. - We had 17 segments in total (didn't count that "....Logan. Logan." exchange. -- 3 were by non-meltdown megastars (AJP, TJ, Buckson) -- 5 of them involved LA -- Only 5 were written by active Meltdown megastars, by 4 megastars (Tommy Knoxville, Guv'nor, and the Regis Philman segment talking about Hyatt, and Finnish Phenom) -- One of them was solely between Sienna and Duvall. -- 10 of the 17 involved leaving members of the roster. I didn't see anything from Cid Phoenix, Warren Peace, The Natural Born Killaz, Evan McDonald, who I believe has been around for 2 drafts now, Robina Hood, Niobe. You don't get title shots if you don't write segments, really look at whose been getting shots, it's people that are not only talented enough, but also give to the show, and you sure as hell don't get off Meltdown if you don't write segments. I said this the last time I did feedback: IT'S YOUR FUCKING SHOW MAKE IT YOUR FUCKING SHOW![/u][/size] You could be able to beat Terry Marvin time and time and time, but it's not gonna do you any good if you do, what I call, mercenary fedding, where you just RP and that's it. New people are put on Meltdown not to just see if you'll be active, but to see if you are gonna bring anything to the fed and the shows. Not only that, but it makes for a great read when I see names other than Logan Alexander, KJE, CK, AJP on meltdown. And please, Evan, Marv, I think you guys won't do this, but I feel better if I beg and plead to you guys, don't ask for any segments, don't try to pry one out of them if they don't want to. While you two love to write and you two book the show and want it to be great, let them see what a show looks like if they don't participate and send in segments. If you got one segment, post a show full of matches. Rebel did it once, and it had to be the worst Meltdown ever, which he didn't have any control over, I think it was some time after the second draft if you wanna look back at it. I'll be honest, I don't read many RPs, I read when I have time to, so segments are the main source of info on someone's character. As far as people left on Meltdown, other than Finnish Phenom, Guv'nor, and Evan McDonald, I don't know jack shit about anyone left. I knwo I'm not the only one who is like this, doesn't read all the RPs that are put out, so the shows are you're way of showing me and those like me why it's worth reading you're RPs. Look at Knoxville, when I get home tomorrow after work, if i have some time, I'm gonna read his RP because he's got me interested because his guy is coming back from Mexico, back to APW and is looking for a fight. THAT"S SOMETHING! I couldn't tell ya what any of the others on Meltdown are doing or why they are doing it. Fedding is show and tell. You can tell me you're the best out there and what not, but you gotta show me. The same way, Cid Phoenix, a violent guy and it was shown, now tell me, on the show, why you're that way. Think of it as you're telling those who just watch the show, the peoplee who don't go onto APW.com to see what you just said about your opponent(s). Another thing, take a look at the people who just got drafted. Aside from Anthony, the others got together with someone else and made a story. Mannie with Amy Zing and CK and KJE with M&M. Again it goes back to the point of participating. CJ said something about this as well, and I'll flesh more on it, everyone comes back to Duvall and Sienna, which fits since they are very hands on with the product in character, but at the same token, you gotta do somethings away from that. Amy and Mannie work away for a while. The whole CK and KJE and M&M thing was spurred from the whole AJP/LA/Sienna thing, but they did things away from them. THey made it far more personal than just having two of the GM's pets doing their bidding. Make some stories that can live away from the hive of Duvall and Sienna. As far as Evan and Marv go, other than maybe proof reading people's segment to make sure it goes in line with the guide and not pleading for more segments if there is a low amount, I enjoyed the touts, which I think you guys should make a Meltdown thing. Get the reactions of the Megastars on the other show. I think that would help make Meltdown different from the other two brands I liked the match cards. I don't blame Rebel for making the CId/Haiku match two blank guys, not easy to cut that pic of Cid's base. Soooo I think that covers feedback.

I don't think everyone is going to do a lengthy segment with interaction if it doesn't fit a storyline. I'm just trying to put my face on the sohw more in ways I couldn't do with Cain or Ingram as they weren't sorts fo chracters to do weekly segments. As a funl oving babyface this is better. I see me and Knoxville doing segemnts idk about the rest hopefully they do.

You didn't need to quote my entire thesis paper of feedback. And I was talking about the meat of that segment I figured Evan put the draft part in to make it different from the others

Segments don't need to be the size of an RP. Can just be a backstage interview of a few paragraphs about your upcoming match. Just something to give your character that extra time on TV

Personally, I've grown fond of short little interview segments; even if you don't have time to do an "OH MY GOD LOOK WHAT THIS GUY DID!!!" segment, you can still express what's going on with your character and what's going through his/her head. They're not difficult, and if they're done right, you give everyone else a sense of who your character is and what he/she is after.

Absolutely agree but after a 13-16 hour shift i would rather see my wife who also works long days and overnights and child. Not being a dick but efeding loses that battle every day of the week.

I like segments but I like segments that make sense for whats going on. I've done a few too many segments before that had no real purpose and then when I feuded with Rico Casteel I noticed that I can use segments to add fuel to the feud. I enjoy doing segments when I have a feud going on, when you don't then it sometimes works it's like nerves being pinched.
I mean but this is where opinions vary and that's what makes things fun is that nobody is the exact same as the next. APW has so much blend now, more so than ever before. You don't have KEY players anymore, you have Rosters here and everyone contributes in their own way. I don't think Peace is wrong for not doing them as much or at all, a partner who did do them might help him get into them more or at least co work shit ya know?

Absolutely agree but after a 13-16 hour shift i would rather see my wife who also works long days and overnights and child. Not being a dick but efeding loses that battle every day of the week. Not saying it should win, and dunno if you're going to Asylum which would help with that situation, or not, but I mean, when I'm stretched for time in a RP period and I want to do a segment, I write it then and there while I'm in the mood to write something, this way, I can post the RP and PM the segment and then I don't have to worry about it. I'm not telling you HAVE to do segments, just that the majority of the segments on the show just got drafted. I mean yea, Mannie is still champ and will probably appear until he loses the title and yes, they'll be tag team stuff as well, but it's still Meltdown so it's YOUR show. Make it the way you want it to be. THat's all I'm saying, and it's a message to everyone on the roster.

Okay, lemme add my two cents! Overall, a good solid show. Too many LA segments (Yeah, I know I could have written a segment, but by not writing one this week and just seeing Phoenix walk up the ramp after the match without a word, give me much to write about this upcoming week - and believe me, there are exciting things in store as far as Cid Phoenix is concerned..

Some notes - I concur with TJ about the random about face by Young Mannie in his response to Logan. Not quite sure what he is getting at when Mannie says he is there to challenge the fans' minds, but I'm open-minded... Good riposte by LA, not sure why the lackey got involved, this felt a bit awkward to me, and well the end was a bit sudden and anti-climatic. Not quite sure how Young Mannie was supposed to come out of this segment, if it was to make him look like a spineless heel it sort of worked. But Logan definitely shone through. - In the entrance to the cage match...when did the North American Championship becoming the 'ACW North American Championship'? Has there been some secret takeover we're not savvy about yet? - The cage match was good, the ending, well, I think its strength depends on whether or not there is a next step. I'm not a big fan of title matches being used to put over a third party unless there is a very good reason. Maybe one will come out of this, who knows, but if the purpose is to put over Mannie as the lucky champ, well it's getting there. - The Logan/Kaylyn was okay as a way of bringing new readers into the feud, but what it ultimately boiled down to was both parties burying each other. It's another long segment involving LA. - Completely agree with TJ about the uniformity of the show. I'm glad someone said it because I've wanting to for weeks. Havok, Knoxville - take heed! - I don't like insider terms either, and I think our particular form of kayfabe doesn't have the connotations of 'sports entertainment'. It should be left as professional wrestling because I think the assumption in efedding is that the wrestling is real competition. Otherwise a solid hype piece, if somewhat hyperbolic (odd as that sounds). - By the way, I think the graphics are great. Fantastic idea. - Nice post-match promo by Knoxville, having looked at his bio, but I'm thinking a much needed strong face around these parts on the basis on this promo. - Well done to Christian Kane on the draft. I'm sure it's deserved. - This Kevin Dahlia guy, seriously. Tyler Graves 2013 anyone? Yeah, no shows happen, but time and time again... That said, the match served to put over TNK quite well ahead of their hyped match with Knoxville next week. #silverlining - I haven't an igloo who Regis Philbin is, I did a google off the back of what TJ wrote - isn't one real-life media personality turned wrestling character enough about these parts? Anyway, Hyatt/Ingram/Caine, my son, you need to learn to crawl before you can walk. Get that character established period, then think about headlining the show and title shots. I read this and it didn't feel like anything different to the self-hype pieces you did in the past. You need to deliver, my friend. I just felt the tone of this piece was wrong, too much too soon, and the over the top crowd reaction I wasn't buying. Does anyone really know Travor Hyatt enough yet to love him and cheer him the way you wrote this? p.s. thanks for the plug, not sure my character deserved it, but thanks all the same - Well done to The Future. Seems a bit soon, but doubtless there is a good reason. - I thought my entrance was pushing it, but there are some seriously long-ass entrances in that handicap match. Good match, the fallout was good, nice way to announce the draft of KJE. - Interesting finale to the show, especially with Mannie draft. Look forward to seeing how that works, as well as the developments with Amy Zing (whether this was a kayfabe firing or otherwise). It was everything you expect a SUPERSHOW to be, so well done. While I concur with TJ that Meltdown will need people to step up with all the drafts, maybe the drafts will give people the confidence and sense of purpose to do so. Agree with Cid on one level that there was a lot of Logan in this show, maybe too much, but there is some justification when everything M & M have given to Meltdown over the past three months. However, when you have a few people dominating the show, it can sometimes have an adverse affect on people's participation, in that they may feel a bit intimidated. I know there have been times when I've felt that way on other shows, worrying whatever I did would get lost in the shuffle. But you got to have that confidence to put your stuff out there and hope it sticks. So with all these gaps in the show now, I hope people on Meltdown will look at the situation and think 'now is my time to shine'. One thing is for sure, Meltdown is going to need some more leading lights, probably hasn't been this way since the show's launch, and this opportunity may not come again.

Too just repeat exactly what the others have in their feedback, I have to agree by saying that Segments are needed from pretty much everybody on the whole roster. Without them shows don't flow and it makes the brand look weak, If we want our characters to be taken seriously we have to first take what we do with out brand seriously. It's the place for a some people like me to reinvent themshelves or for new rpers to grow into something special and unique. So even its a few paragraphs, just put a little thought into and the results will show. Just a few months I was having a hard time adjusting to the new level of competetion in APW, and that was discouraging but trust me if I say that it motivated the hell out of me. I was willing do what it took to get notice, so i went against my usual lazy routine of having the GM's forcefully writing into the show with segments but too actually being a part of the show with my own input. I went from feeling out of place to North American champion, take the time with your character it works. Just remember no one will care about your character if you don't.
