Warren is walking through the south American wilderness. And comes to a stop in a clearing, he sits on a log and looks into the camera.
Warren: The last few weeks have been very difficult on me. Losing the North American Championship in a match that I didn't even need to be pinned to lose it, that's tough for a champion to deal with.
I am not going to lie about the situation at all. It's been weighing heavily on me and for the past few weeks I have been struggling from within to compete at a championship level.
last week, everyone saw it. A huge dip in my match quality and decline in my performance. I am going through a tough time and even now, this week I am still not where I want to be. I am not at the same level that I was on when winning that belt.
But winning that championship wasn't my defining moment, and neither was losing it. A true champion makes success even after losing the title and that is what I am aiming to do.
It's not my turn, that's fine. I will wait in line for my chance to regain the title be it from Gv'Nor or Johnny, whoever.
Right now I am making the best of my situation and will not allow myself to be despaired. No, I am not performing at the level that I want to, but I know it's only a matter of time before I get back into the grove of things.
I have been working, and training, and I can feel my focus growing stronger. This week I am in a tag team match, that old familiar place.
Though I am a man of reoccurring themes I am not a man of reoccurring promos I am not going to spout out what I have done in the tag scene. You already know it.
So I will say this.
I have been going through some hardships as many former champions do. But it ends after Meltdown. The revolution is still going strong and I will no longer allow myself to be sidetracked.
I will stand by my partner Niobe from bell to bell, and I will put on the show of a smiling hero and win or lose the fans will go home happy.
So I am sorry I don't have more for you, I am sorry there are no war machines or compelling speeches. Right now, this week, I am just another guy going to the ring to put on a tag match
But next week the gatekeeper of meltdown, the face of the revolution and the one true North American Champion will be back in action.
