Following Meltdown on April 14, 2013.
Roy Speede is storming through the backstage area, visibly furious with the outcome of his match earlier in the night in which he lost to Billy Pepsi following the Pepsi to the face that blinded him. Approaching the door of the locker room, he is stopped by Meltdown’s interviewer, Hannah Storm who has a microphone in her hand and is being followed by a cameraman.
Hannah Storm: “Mister Speede! Roy Speede, wait, please, I have a few questions for you.”
Roy sighs and nods his head, noticeably frustrated with the interviewer’s approach and subsequent request to interview him.
Roy Speede: “Alright, I guess. But we’re going to have to try to keep this short, at least, alright? I’ve got other things I want to get done before I leave tonight, and it’s already really late.”
Hannah Storm: “Oh, of course, Mister Speede! I don’t want to take up all of your time; I just want to take a few moments to get your thoughts is all!”
Roy Speede: “What thoughts are you searching for, Hannah? You mean about the fact that I just got completely cheated out of a win in my return by that complete tool and his butt buddy of a manager, or that my face got coated with the sorriest excuse for a soft drink since they invented Seven Up?”
Hannah Storm: “I suppose a little bit of both, Mister Speede. I have to ask, what was going through your mind during that match? You were doing so well, and then suddenly a change in events resulted directly in you losing your match with Billy Pepsi. What are your thoughts on hwo that all went down?”
Roy Speede: “Oh, did I not already pretty much stress my opinion enough for you? I’m furious with the outcome of my match this evening, and I’d l’m going to get my revenge, one way or another! Billy Pepsi is going to pay, and so his is his little friend Von Wilderspin. There is no excuse for cheating in a match to try to get the upper hand, and his antics have just brought upon him a world of hurt from someone who refuses to let him get away with something like this. I don’t care if he could or not when he was facing everyone else, but he won’t get away with screwing over The Silver Lining.”
Hannah Storm: “Well, as a matter of fact, you’re going to get your chance to get your revenge on him on Meltdown next week! You’re facing him in a tag team elimination match that also-“
Roy cuts her off.
Roy Speede: “Brilliant! That’s exactly what I wanted to hear! I’m going to love mopping the ring mat clean with that little shit!”
Hannah Storm: “But there’s the thing, Roy! It’s a tag team elimination match! You have two tag team partners, and he’ll have two tag team partners. You’re teaming with former North American Champ Warren Peace and Yanzel Holmes, and he’s teaming with “The Real Deal” Ellis Graham and Evan MacDonald.”
Roy Speede: “Well, I don’t honestly care, to be honest, Hannah. This is between me and Pepsi; it the others get involved in this match, so be it; my problem is with Billy Pepsi, and he’s my focus. I’ll go through those other two morons if I have to, but Billy Pepsi is going to feel my vengeance and he will learn what happens when you mess with Roy Speede. As for my partners... They can have their turn if they like, but the fact of the matter is that when I get my hands on Pepsi, there will be no second guessing, and there will be no remorse. This is personal, and he’s going to get what’s coming to him.”
He opens the door to his locker room and starts through.
Roy Speede: “I’ve got to get going. Hope you got what you needed. This interview is over.”
He closes the door to the locker room and the scene fades to black.
