Anybody been watching this season?
I'm not going to lie - I marked like Hogan joining the nWo at the end of episode four. I'm glad the action is starting to pick-up. The first few episodes have been slow moving.

I watch this like it's a drug and I'm addicted. Love this show! Probably my favorite show on TV since the show started. Walking Dead being a close second, maybe tie?
I really like Arya Stark's story. Probably my favorite character because she has seen some crazy shit away from the Kingdoms and Wars brewing. Although Daenerys Targaryen is becoming a BAD CHICK! That new army of hers...SCARY STUFF PLUS DRAGONS? I feel for Rob Stark cause even if he removes Lannister he has to see that unless she lets him keep the North. I haven't read the books because I like the anticipation of the week leading to a new episode. I want MORE!!
I even played the Game Of Thrones RPG on PS3 because of this show. While it isn't the best RPG out there, it feels like the same mechanics as Dragon Age Origins had. Just less actual fighting and more storyline. Decent story too, I was pulled it midway through.
I also really like Jon Snow. I think he might be the last Stark boy living when all is said and done. I dunno why and no he's not a "Stark" but he is and I hope he gets to (along with me) see that redhead he's around naked. YESSIR!

Only 2 more episodes left this season. I wish they'd to 15 instead of 10. Alot of tension building between Tyrian and Geoffrey. At the end of the day that midget is still the god of tits and wine.

Agreed. The season has really flown by... I'm bummed that it's almost over already. However, it does give me time to catch up and finish the books.

As long as Shay stays alive I won't be mad. I'm tired of great characters being killed...Makes me want to pull my sword. haha.

It has been a great season - it was also a great book, so two seasons of this one book will be awesome. Every season flies by too fast though, I agree on that one.

I know but I almost lost my lunch looking it up...
EDIT: Also Rob Starks new wife? Pregnant new wife? That's Charlie Chaplin's Granddaughter. Maybe Great Granddaughter. There is another person with some connection too but I can't remember them. Probably didn't get naked or is a dude...
Rob Stark also just landed the role of Prince Charming for the upcoming Live Action Cinderella Movie. Yes another one..Snow White caused a trend.
And That insect Queen, Not even gonna TRY to spell her name. She is the wife in the upcoming Movie "The Purge" which I want to see badly.

Other celebrity connections: Theon Greyjoy (The guy that invaded Winterfell, but is now being tortured slowly... who for most of the first season was confused for a Stark) is Alfie Allen, AKA Lily Allen's brother.
And the whole thing with "scorpion" (in the book it's called a manticore, but same idea), was sent by the bald warlock with blue lips from Season 2: Pyat Pree. The dragons burnt down his people's tower, and he was after revenge. That is why Dany wanted to try to get as far away from Qarth as possible, because the warlocks were trying to kill her. At least, that's how it's explained in the books.
I'm a little further ahead in the books than the show; I'm currently in the fourth book. Season 4, if based on the last half of "Storm of Swords", will be incredible, if they can pace it well. They're probably going to start pulling into books 4 and 5 (which run co-currently: 4 covers characters in King's Landing, the Iron Islands, and the South, while 5 covers stuff that happens in the North and in Essos).
I can't wait to see this week's episode. There's a gruesome event that happens in the book that is never shown, but merely referred to by other characters afterwards, and I've read that the creators actually show what happen and they made it brutal.
If you love the show, you should really try the books. They're surprisingly easy to read (much easier than any other fantasy I've ever read), and I find that it's easy to keep characters sorted since you know them from TV. The books are much darker than the show, mostly because there's A LOT more rape (well, not really, but I'd wager rape is mentioned every other page) and also the characters are much younger and there's a lot of scenes with more nudity.
For example, the scene after Tyrion and Sansa get married is much more r-rated in the book: they're basically both naked and Tyrion really wants to consummate the marriage, before finally deciding he's not that greasy of a guy (because Sansa's ONLY THIRTEEN AND HE'S IN HIS LATE THIRTIES) and just doesn't do it. Obviously, that scene would not make it on TV with a 16-year-old actress.
Anyways, I've been pretty much obsessed with the show since it premiered, I almost wished I had gotten into the books before. Actually, that's a lie... new books only come along like every 7 years, that's way worse wait then the 10 months it takes to get a new season.

More nudity really doesn't help so much in novel form. But I do fully plan on grabbing the novels shortly. I love this series.

I don't watch Game of Thrones often.
But when I do it's because Daenerys Targaryen is naked.
