Money on my mind – Bonnie, you be Clyde
Don’t you wanna ride or die? ‘Cause I keep it tight
Work a 9-5, he be on his grind
The music played loudly in the background, and the club was packed. It had been a long time since I stepped foot in a club, let alone a strip club but that money was calling and I wasn’t turning that shit down. I remember walking in the building and I could tell that the other boys there wasn’t thrilled with having London Carter in the building, but
Fuck Them.
I walked out on the stage, I wasn’t fucking with that pole shit. I stood there with my briefs, and a pair of black boots, I couldn’t resist dancing though, the beat was sick.
Philly!
It had been awhile since I stepped foot in the city of Philadelphia, but the club asked me to show face and I did, cash already in hand It wouldn’t hurt to make a couple extra dollars and I had noticed some familiar faces in the audience so I’m sure I was in for crazy ride tonight.
I was only scheduled to go on stage twice, the first time was a small stint, I walked around a little bit, mingled with the crowd, let a couple dudes rub on my chest and went on with my night.
#StackingThatMoneyThough.
But this time on stage I was going in for the kill, I stood there for a second waiting for the next song to play, teasing the crowd by lowering my underwear just enough to leave the rest to their imagination. The song started and I hopped down off the stage, walking around some more, and ended up bumping into an old friend.
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Club Risque - 2nd Floor
The scene opens up inside Club Risque, a local gentlemen's club located in South Philly, the scene span around the downstairs, where the female strippers were walking around, shaking, dropping, and flirting to make that cash, while upstairs the men dancers entertained on a special night. “Gay Night” London is shown jumping down off the stage, he turns and shares hugs with a couple people he recognizes, London makes his way towards the back area, as he turns to open one of the doors to the V.I.P. area, a hand comes from his left side pulling him towards the corner. London looks over and notices a guy from his past standing here, he looks him up and down in shock before leaning in and giving him a hug.
London:
It’s good to see you Stanley.
Stanley leans in with his ear close to London’s mouth.
Stanley:
I’m having a hard time hearing you over this Jeezy record, can we go in the back?
London nodded his head as he reached for Stanley’s hand leading him into one of the back rooms, not much quieter, at least there they both were able to hold a conversation and hear each other.
London:
I had said it was good to see you, I didn’t expect to run into you.
Stanley:
You should have known, I mean when I heard you were going to be in town and making an appearance here, I knew I had to come and support.
Stanley reaches in his pocket and hands London an envelope, London opens the envelope and inside he counted $2,000. London shook his head handing the envelope back to Stanley.
London:
You came to support huh? So what’s the $2,000 for then?
Stanley:
I didn’t know you were still stripping, I thought with all the success with your sister and even you, I figured you may have needed some money.
London:
And what did you expect to get if I accepted that money?
Stanley:
Some conversation, maybe some of your time. I mean we do go way back, I basically helped you get into Law School and then you just kind of up and disappeared on me.
I sat there with shock on my face, I mean I knew Stanley being here wasn’t anything positive. Stanley was a 45 year old married Lawyer that I ran into at the University when I was attending school in Philly.
At the time he was married to a local TV Anchor for the news and she had no idea of his infidelity, until I came around. It was never anything sexual with Stanley, he just enjoyed having me around, I mean yeah he preferred me in no clothes half the time and he enjoyed watching me you know have fun with myself but it never got to the point of sex.
He helped me financially, with my apartment, my school needs, and he even helped me purchased my car at the time.
That’s how his wife found out, I could never forget the day when she came to the house, she was so angry and upset but she Thanked Me at the end of the conversation, she knew that something strange was going on in her marriage and she was glad that I came around and helped her realize the truth.
At first he blamed me for his divorce, but after the divorce hit the press, my people came out and claimed they had relationships with him, it was everywhere.
And now I guess he felt as though I owed him, but I didn’t.
When I left Philly and moved to Miami with my sister, the money start rolling in, I started wrestling, did more modeling and left the dancing alone. He saw my success and I’m sure he had all intentions in coming here to start this shit with me.
London sat there for a minute, just speechless. He didn’t know what to say at the moment, instead he played it off by playing with the band around his briefs.
Stanley:
The silent treatment huh?
London:
I don’t know what you want me to say to that, you knew I had goals outside of dancing and I wanted to finish school, Philly was not the place for me to advance.
Stanley:
You still sticking with that story?
London:
You may call it a story homie, but I call it the truth. I don’t see how you expected to me to be around you after that shit with your wife at that time, the funny thing is when you told you we’re married that night, but separated I knew you were lying.
Stanley:
I doubt it.
London:
It was obvious and do you know how many times I caught you still wearing your wedding ring? I mean come the fuck on, I was young but I wasn’t dumb, I listened and paid attention to a lot of shit.
London reaches in the back of his briefs and pulls out a blunt he had clip to the side, he opens the other palm of his hand and plays with the lighter, flicking it. He takes a puff, and exhales as he scoots further down on the sofa.
London:
I find it fucked up that you come here tonight expecting me to give you something, I owe you nothing. That money was given to me, I never asked for it.
Stanley:
I find this crazy. (Stanley moves closer to London) This whole situation is crazy, I mean I took care of you when your sister was off making her money, I mean you knew no one here and I took you in and helped you, I’m finally free and you telling me you don’t want me.
London:
Dawg, you are like 40 something years old now, shit you might be pushing 50, when I first met you you were 45 and it’s been years since we’ve seen each other, I can’t believe I’m even sitting here still entertaining this shit because I knew you was going to start some bullshit.
London starts to get up from the sofa, but Stanley pulls him back down.
Stanley:
Look I’m not trying to start any drama, I just wanted to tell you I missed you and I’m proud of your success, I guess I’m a little jealous because I really did care for you at the time but you knew the situation I had going on.
London:
I don’t dance anymore, I mean yes I’m here tonight but that’s only because the club asked me to make an appearance and they paid me well to get me up here in some tight short ass briefs and just walk around and look sexy, I’m not trying to give anyone the wrong impression because after this I probably won’t ever do it again, my job now is Law and fucking dudes up in the ring.
Stanley:
I see you, you’ve been causing some damage in that ring.
London:
Always do man, ask about me.
London smiles, he rubs his hand across Stanley’s face, he leans over and kisses him on the cheek, grabbing his arm and pulling him up off the sofa, the two head out the door and London nods to him, walking in the other direction, the scene fades to black.
Few hours later ...
The scene opens up in the middle of Center City, at the Marriott. The scene spans around outside the hotel and then inside the crowded lobby, guests checking in and out, the scene fades to the third floor where Brooklyn and London are shown making their way into his suite, London makes his way over the patio door opening it to let some of the fresh cool air from outside in, Brooklyn drops her duffle bag on the floor and walks over to the kitchenette of the hotel and breaks out the grinder and her bag. London walks over and sits down at one of the stools.
Brooklyn:
I’m surprised you took that gig at the club bro, I mean you haven’t dance since like you were 19, so I know that shit was a little crazy.
London:
I mean it was easy money and plus I lived here, so I didn’t want to look like one of them dudes that made it but then dipped out and forgot where he came from.
Brooklyn:
Well sorry I couldn’t be there, but I don’t think I would have wanted to see you walking around in your draws anyway. (Brooklyn laughs) But what’s up with this APW thing? I mean, I had to learn about that signing over Twitter.
London:
Yo I had to hide that shit, I mean I knew a lot of people would have had something to say about it, so I kind of wanted to make that decision on my own, but I mean it was something I thought about for a long time.
Brooklyn:
I mean it’s all good but be careful bro, that’s all I’m saying.
London:
Yo new company, new faces, and a better me. You should be telling the locker room to be careful because they’ve never ran into a dude like me.
Brooklyn:
Well me and Shark will be in the building to support, it’s your first match so you know you need to wreck that fool.
London:
It’s a done deal sis, the best thing about being the “newcomer” and especially someone with my background and lifestyle. I’m about to be the shock factor in this bitch, I promise you that.
#ShockedLikeShit.
It was cool to hang with my sister, she was doing her thing.
Still Undefeated in NLWF, and she was the current Women’s Champion, but ever since she got engaged to James Shark, her time if it wasn’t at the office or in the ring, she was with him. I wasn’t hating because all I ever wanted to do was see her happy, but I always cherish the time we do get to spend together.
I was keeping a lot of stuff from her though, I didn’t want her worrying about me, I felt like she was in a space where she was really happy and I didn’t want to bring any harm to that. She stood by me though during that bullshit with Anthony.
I can’t stand that fuckhead.
She even stood by my side when Carlos told me that his girl was pregnant and that we couldn’t kick it on that level no more, even with school and just supporting me, I never wanted to be the cause of any drama to her happiness.
And even though Shark and I wasn’t the best of friends, I mean we almost killed each other in that match, I respect him because I know that dude love my sis, so as long as he don’t hurt her, then I won’t have to put my fucking hands on him.
Again.
Brooklyn:
Are you leaving Philly tomorrow?
London:
In the morning, I got some promotion shit with APW and then I head out for King of The Throne.
Brooklyn:
I’ll hang around for a little bit but you know Shark will be here soon.
The two continue to talk as the scene fades to black.
MAFIA
The shoot
W.H.O.A. Dere...
The extremist is in the building and APW don’t know what to do with themselves.
#ButGotJokes.
I’m anxious to step foot in this ring, new atmosphere, new faces, new targets to add to my victim list because I’m not holding back on shit. I’m sure we got some laughs in the back, people gossiping and talking like females because you got a GAY BOY in the building.
#ButILoveTheAttention.
But on the real, y’all should thank me.
#ThankMe.
People probably like what is this dude talking about? But check this, London Carter, brother of Brooklyn Carter, the definition of EXTREME and the chaos I bring when I got a barbed wire bat in my hands, basically the newest STAR OF APW.
#BecauseTheStarsAroundHereOldAsFuck.
APW needed new life, needed new blood, and needed someone who eat, breathe, and live this wrestling shit on a daily basis. Meltdown won’t be my home for long because once I stomp all over Jace face, them other shows will be begging me to sign on.
#DamnHeCocky.
Call me cocky, or maybe just call me rude as fuck but I won’t be a target of the gay jokes or the intimidation that I’m sure I’ll have to go through. Every company get nervous when they get a person with my lifestyle involved.
But don’t worry about what’s happening in my sheets, but maybe the worry about the talent that’s about to be laid to rest.
#RIP.
And I mean on that long bed rest.
But I’ll chill out on what I’m saying, I don’t what to hype too much, I’m the type of dude that let my actions speak more so than the words, but I’m sure y’all will learn that when you step in the ring with me.
But it’s funny because Jace and I do have something in common, we both some confident ass dudes and I mean he believes that he’s going to continue this little win streak he’s on but sadly he’s about to have his little boy dreams crushed, and crushed hard.
Jace thinks he did me a favor by not attacking my sexual orientation, but it wouldn’t have made a difference if he did or not, at the end of the day he would have to be the one listening to jokes about how he was knocked the fuck out. Me signing with APW is no different with me signing with any other company, I know I have to work my way to the top to be respected in this bitch and I guarantee that I won’t disappoint.
Jace, Meltdown won’t end in your favor homeboy, that match is mine.
#BeOnTheLookOutTho.
Because in time, your favorite stars now won’t be so good once I’m finished with them ...
Later that evening ...
The scene opens up inside London’s suite, London is shown making his way out of the bathroom just wearing a towel, he places his gold cross necklace back around his neck and he walks toward the bedroom.
KNOCK ... KNOCK
London pauses as he stares at the door, wondering who could be knocking. He walks over to the door and opens it, he backs away when he notices it’s Stanley at the door. London starts to close it a little but Stanley places his foot in between the door keeping him from closing it.
London:
Yo, stalk much?
Stanley:
Let me in London, I need to talk to you.
London:
Yo, back the fuck up man before I call security, like you should have hit my phone before you thought you could just drop by.
Stanley:
I got money Lon, like let’s do this.
London places his hand in Stanley’s face forcing him out the door way, London walks out as he pushes Stanley against the wall with his arm pressed against Stanley’s neck.
London:
Look homie, I already told you that shit that happened in the past is the past and I’m on some other shit right now, like you showing up at my room not cool man I suggest you fall the fuck back.
London releases the hold against Stanley and backs up towards his door.
Stanley:
You’ll regret that, I promise you that.
Stanley jumps up and rushes down the hallway, London stands in the doorway shaking his head in disgust as the scene fades to black.
