Doctor Phate Returning to APW
The big news coming out of APW at the moment is the return of Doctor Phate. Doctor Phate was last seen in APW at Shockwave when he lost the APW World Title to Twister. Phate sent a letter to APW Management last night apologizing for “taking his ball and going home.” But the letter didn’t end there. Phate wants an apology from everyone in APW. Especially President Jeff for not allowing him to lose early in his APW career, so losing after 11 straight wins and being able to cope with a loss, is a key factor for Phate leaving. A copy of the letter has surfaced on actionpackedwrestling.tk
Will Iggy make it to the PPV?
That was one question on everyone’s mind after Overdrive went off the air this past Monday. Iggy was scheduled for face Matt Metal in a non title contest this past Monday, but President Jeff was forced to cancel the match after Streets Wilson brutally attacked Iggy early in the evening.
Camera’s wasn’t able to see the attack, but when they got there, Streets Wilson was standing over a bloodied Iggy with a crowbar in hand. EMT’s we’re rushed to the scene and Iggy was transported to a near by Hospital. Iggy received 4 stitched to close the cut on his head and he also had a few cuts and bruises on his body from the attack. Iggy was kept overnight at the Hospital and was tested for a concussion, but the test came back early Tuesday Morning with no signs of any concussion, and Iggy was released from the hospital.
Iggy is set to defend his Xtreme Title at One Night in Hell against Streets Wilson. We are unsure if he will be at Overdrive this coming Monday, but he is set to be at One Night in Hell. Which is good news for Streets Wilson because President Jeff told him, If Iggy wasn’t at the Pay Per View, that he would be fine 10,000 Dollars.
Announcement coming Monday on Overdrive
There has been talks for a while on APW having a second show. And according to Rumors, that time is now. A second show looks to be starting up in Early November. Several Networks, such as FSN, and TSN2 have TBA for the 8pm-9pmEST time slot.
We don’t know what the name of the show will be. Who will be the general manager of the show, who will be fighting on his debut night, but we know that the show will be taped before Overdrive goes on the air an will the show will air on Tuesdays.
One Night In Hell Matches
With One Night in Hell around the corner, word leaked on the internet this morning that every match at One Night in Hell will be a gimmick match. With One Night in Hell just a few days before Halloween, the plan is to have Halloween/Hell type gimmick matches that will fit the season. The Elimination Chamber is already confirmed, and we can expect to see some sort of First Blood match. And a rumor is going around that a Buried Alive Match may take place.
Dr. Matt broke his neck?
At a house show on Tuesday Night, A Fan posted a video on Youtube a video on Sabur Powerbombing Dr. Matt right on the back of his head/neck. A fan remix of the video can be seen here
The match quickly was stopped by referee Steve Jackson for Matt’s Safety. Matt was treated at a Local hospital and was released with no serious injury to his neck. Matt’s neck will be sore for the next few days, but will be fine to compete at One Night in Hell
Elimination Chamber tidbits
There has been several debates on internet wrestling forums about who will win the Elimination Chamber match at One Night in Hell. So we decided to see for ourselves who has the best show at winning this match.
So by the looks of things, Twister may have the advantage going into this match, but anything can happen.

There has been several debates on internet wrestling forums about who will win the Elimination Chamber match at One Night in Hell. So we decided to see for ourselves who has the best show at winning this match.
This Elimination Chamber match will make it Spirits, Dr. Matt, and Twister’s second elimination match, making it Link, Jason Ricochet and Sabur’s first.
Twister won his first Elimination Chamber match in CWF, defeating Matt Metal at the end to win the CWF World Title. Dr. Matt was also in that match, making it to the final three before being Eliminated by Matt Metal
Spirit’s first Elimination Match took place in WWC, where she made it to the final 3 and then was Eliminated by Hurricane Jeff. Matt Metal would go on to win that Chamber match.
The first Elimination Chamber match in CWF, Matt Metal was the first man in the ring, and lose in the end. He was also first again in the second Chamber match but won. Spirit was the 2nd person in her chamber match but didn’t make it to the final 2. Her and Link will be the two to start off the match at One Night in Hell
Out of 8 Pay Per Views that Sabur has Wrestled in, he’s only won twice. But Sabur is the biggest man going into this match, so this could be an advantage. Link’s first match in a few months was when he defeated Jason Royce earlier this month to get into the Chamber match. So Ring Rust might Kick in. And Jason Ricochet, with no history with anyone in this match, a man who’s spent the less amount of time in APW may be at a disadvantage by not knowing his opponents, but could be at an advantage.
