Hey guys and gals, Show is now up! Thanks to Kash and Envi for matches, thanks to AJP, Kash, TMarv, Mannie, and Blood for segs. Sally and Mannie collabed on a seg that's going to be moved to next week, so no credit this week for Sal. Feel free to discuss the show here, including the announced Main Event for One Night in Hell!

Big thanks to AJP for getting at me for the segment I was involved with. Over AIM no less, my first real AIM Segment so that was cool. It was posted twice and because it evolves to like 3 segments it really comes off long but sticks to entertaining. AJP is a great character to dislike so it's good seeing the swag that Envi does with the character.
I believe Envi (again) wrote the Tag Match and he has a special way of doing matches I just like seeing. Makes them feel authentic in a sense of being able to visualize things.
Very cool to see Mannie get some spotlight, more than he's used too or not creating for himself in character. He fit it as well and was good to see someone different in a spotlight for a change.
Good show, Unforgiven scares me a tad and Kash will forever kick himself in the ass for not taking the Chamber spot. What a douche. Haha.

Also some have acted like they don't know the identity of the Mystery Opponent for TMarv. Asylum showed and hinted at who it was. I am so giddy with excitement! READ PEOPLE! Don't skim, I know it's hard not to sometimes, I do it plenty but the shows give such little hints into a storyline or mystery that you have to see everything or you might as well see nothing.

This was a sloppy, uninvolved show, and it was hard to read. Let's do better next week.
EDIT: Pleased at the mystery opponent. But I feel bad for the person that was originally supposed to have the 6th spot, since I feel he's worked hard to earn that spot.

Really in truth, I'd have liked to see a whole group of new challengers for TMarv. People like Shadow and Mannie who have put in work each show and deserve a shot at least. I won't go any deeper than that but I like the contestants and am glad to see a few new faces in the Main Event period. I hated feuding with Knuckles when I was Champ because it made me feel like I was just working with a friend and not everyone else. It's why I asked for Bailey when he was coming up and shining. I like this match going forward and good damn, Bailey deserves an award for double duty at ONIH unless the Tag Titles get pushed to a Supershow..

Honestly, I feel that putting Bailey in the ONIH Chamber (though he truly deserves it) takes a shit on the Tag Team Championship match. The tag match has been built as THE feud of APW over the past month, and now it's going to be forced to take a backseat to a thrown-together, last-minute match that was created for the sake of upholding an outdated tradition. The Chamber needs to take a rest.
Also, there's no way any wrestler would be able to go through both of those matches in one night. That's just silly. I don't see why the spot didn't go to Shadow, who has worked his ass off, and has nothing to do at ONIH, and has plenty of recent history with the New Sindicate.

Mick Foley or Terry funk could do both matches in the same night. I don't know of anyone else though. I think a group of new challengeers tod Marvel would be great. How many times does he beat the same top tier people. The guy is untouchable. Not trying to put anyone else down but he has been champ a year. I know I couldn't come close to himor level one but would love the opportunity to work with them. People like Bailey; Hopkins; Shadow; Smith and others should malso be given the chance to work with the top tier in APW. How else does anyone get better. I got better with help from Kash and by being able to face people I admire their work like Madison and Knox. I enjoyed Niobe too but I believe if she tried harder she could be a force here. Nothing against her but it seems she just puts up rp's at times they are good others mediocre. So are mine and I'm trying to improve. One of these days I would love to work with Marv; Level One and Envi. Can only do that by getting better and facing people better then you.

I agree as well. Had different people in my original Match I thought of when sending in that segment, including Shadow(who I thought was a perfect fit) but again I'm not the one in charge and they got changed before final posting.

I honestly think another guy that deserves a title shot who gets overlooked a lot around here is Evan Mcdonald. If only he would make his RP's longer with selling his opponents and doing segments I feel that he could be quite a big threat. I like the guy a lot and his character but it's those things that hold him back. I might work with him a bit after ONIH PPV cos he's only no showed a few times that makes me notice him more and it is about time that I help someone here as well from what I've learned since being here for a year. Maybe not the UT but either the Tap Out or the Suicidal belt. I do agree about Shadow getting overlooked though.
For me I will work on my character for a while as I need to make him more as a wrestler than he is currently as I don't think I show enough of that side of Stefan and make him more than trash talking his opppnents down.

I'll give up my spot in the Chamber if I have to. I just had an opportunity at the Undisputed Title two weeks ago and I blew it.

Yes. Evan McDonald has been killing it for a while now but he always goes under the radar for some reason.

That's entirely unnecessary, and I think everyone here would agree.
I think the issue is the main event scene (and the desperation to include the Chamber on the program) in general.

Likely it's the lack of segments. That causes lots of people to get unnoticed unfortunately.

I know it isn't my show but the discussion is about title shots? Terry Marvin has actually defended his title against too many different opponents if anything. Though, I have no problem with that if he doesn't. Just seems like an odd discussion to be having because plenty of people have gotten title shots outside of the traditional means - traditional being, at an actual pay per view with several weeks to build to a specific match.

I don't think that's fully what the discussion is about.

I don't think that's fully what the discussion is about. If it helps, I was mainly referring to Stefan Raab and the underlining sentiment in this thread about people who ''deserve'' title shots or anything of the sort.

Oh ok. Sorry if I pissed you off L1. I won't talk about it anymore. What? I'm not pissed off, lol. I'm just saying, PLENTY of opportunities have been made available on Asylum from what I have seen ESPECIALLY in the main event scene. Those who make the most of it will, those who don't, don't. When people say things like the show needs a main event mix up, it seems to be stemming from the fact that Terry Marvin is just a dominate champion running shit for over a year. Plenty of people have had title shots but just can't beat him; tough shit!

I will be leaving feedback soon on this past show (ive started to like 4 times but the browser keeps closing and deleting my work) *sad panda*
As for the 'en passant' mentioning of Shadow being 'snubbed' (is that the best word?) for a chamber spot. I havent actually thought too much on pursuing a title. Those who have talked to me before about shots know I usually bow out due to a lack of time to dedicate to the storyline. But I'll go into more on this in my feedback, just wanted to say thanks to those who think Im up for it. Oh, and fuck that number one fan guy ;P

If the Tag Title match wasn't going to be so violent then I don't see the issue with defending the Tag Titles early on. I had to do that as well the year I won the World Title at ONIH. I lost the tag titles to...Mannie and Red Shield Mafia but then went on to beat Sally, Rico Casteel (CJ Gates), KnoxVILLE who was on Asylum then and a few others. I was as surprised as anyone, maybe more so. I lost Kash's front teeth in that match as well. Ahh the memories!

It wasn't a shot at you, Biggs. It was alarming to see how few segments were produced for the show.
