APW News Break: October 30th
One Night in Hell is an event to Remember
One Night in Hell took place this past Sunday and what an event it was. It was a History Making night. This was the first APW where all 4 titles changed hands. The Elimination Chamber blew the roof off the Tokyo Dome where the biggest bump of the night came when Sabur hip tossed Dr. Matt off the top of the Elimination Chamber and through the commentators Table. Sabur went on to win his first APW title.
Meltdown Debut notes
APW’s 2nd show, Meltdown, makes its debut on Tuesday, November 4th. We learned at One Night in Hell that the General Manager for Meltdown will be Connor O’Reilly. He may not be well known to the APW superstars or the APW Faithful, but this man is a multi-time champion as well as a Hall of Famer. Connor made a huge announcement that the first Main Event for Meltdown will be Streets Wilson defending his newly won APW title against Fyre Angel in a Strap of Hell Match. Connor also claims to Make Meltdown a better show than Overdrive. So expectations are already high for Meltdown.
One Night in Hell Injury Report
No serious injuries to report from One Night in Hell. Everyone pretty much had their fair share of bumps and bruises. Dr. Matt is still banged up after the big bump he took through the Commentators table, but he’ll be ready to go in about a week’s time.
APW Superstar taking time off
Dita Von Amora has request from management for a few weeks off to spend some time with her family. We hope to see Dita back in an APW ring soon
Tag Team Competition, who’s next?
With Hardcore Ice regaining their tag titles at One Night in Hell, what’s next for the new tag champs. There’s currently no other tag teams in APW to challenge the new champs. Will a team emerge soon and challenge the champs?
A Return and 2 debuts
Doctor Phate makes his in ring return to APW this coming Tuesday on the first edition of Meltdown. Phate was last seen in an APW ring at Shockwave back in August. Phate will be taking on a man who’s making his in ring debut to APW, Level One. Level One is currently the EWC and the True Experts Champion, so Phate has his hands full in this Pay Per View quality match up. Also making his APW in ring debut is Dangerous X who will take on one half of the tag champs, Jason Royce.
