Bio: Little is known about Rowyn Starr other than his date of birth and that he's a full blooded Cherokee Native American. A check by any PI worth their salt will find that Rowyn attended the University of Tennessee with a major in agriculture and a minor in astrology and that Rowyn left his hometown shortly after finishing college after a heated dispute with the elders of his tribe. The circumstances of his depature remain unknown to those outside of the Cherokee tribe due to their mistrust of outsiders. Relocating to the other side of the Great Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg and after months of work trying to get his foot in the door, Rowyn found a school that was willing to train him to become a wrestler. After two years of training and three years of working on the independent circuit, Rowyn signed with Phoenix Wrestling in July 2012. Within two months, he won a tournament to become the new PW Television Champion when the belt was brought back by Phoenix Wrestling, holding the title until losing it to Aurora Jansen. In 2013, Rowyn shocked the world by defeating Legacy in a World Heavyeight Title match in the 2013 Iron King Tournament quarterfinals to become the Phoenix Wrestling World Champion only to be stripped of the belt three weeks later when Legacy revealed that PW General Manager William Bateman did not have the authority to force Legacy to defend the title in every match he was placed in during the course of the Iron King tournament. Since then, Rowyn has challenged on three occasions for the PW World Heavyweight Championship, losing twice to former champion Arkia Fisk and to BAD ASS in the 2013 Pentagram match at Devil's Playground. Currently, he is embroiled in a fued with SCW superstar Drake Mosa.
