If there was a second third party (I say if because it hadn't shown up in the write up) Reginald could always be it. C.J., this is why I think there's a second third party. Look at the section of the rules where T-Marv mentioned coding. Speaking of coding, characters highlighted in green in write-ups are town. Characters highlighted in red are Mafia. Characters highlighted in purple, or blue, if any, are third-party. Oh, I saw that too, I just meant that until it appears in the write up, I'm not going to say definitively that it's there. I've been part of games that mention third party colors in coding rules, when there was no third party in the game. And Kaji, Biggs did feud with Level One/Sindicate (and later Black Hand) however that was only for about a year/year and a half of his APW tenure. That's the only reason I said that he might not be straight town (I mentioned he could be scum, though a vengeful or miller role could also work). Naturally, like you said, it's all meaningless until we see what actually is out there, but it's at least something to talk about, I guess. |

Well as someone with no real APW knowledge I don't have anything flavor wise to add, but as it has been said, flavor doesn't really make a difference at the end of the day

Well as someone with no real APW knowledge I don't have anything flavor wise to add, but as it has been said, flavor doesn't really make a difference at the end of the day Flavor always makes a difference. Anyone who has hosted a game of Mafia knows that when you pick a theme, the roles you assign to the characters are always completely suited if not relevant at a stretch. That's why Callahan, one of the few Ultra Heels in APW (no friends or allies, hated by faces and heels ala Muhammad Hassan) is ideal for the Third Party role because he wouldn't fit in in a scum faction and he wouldn't align with the town. Similarly, if AC's suggestions that the Scum are all Syndicate members then I would say the flavor is extremely important for this game. |

In a small little room, we see Aubrey J Parker quietly staring down at her title belt. They want to take it from me. All of them! I can't trust them... I can't trust anybody. I'm alone! And that's the way I like it. I'll do what I've always done in APW...whatever it takes to be the last one standing!
In the offices of President Jeff. President Jeff: Gentlemen, I've called you in here because we have a problem. The Sindicate is going to do whatever it takes to tear this whole thing down. We MUST protect the last Rasslemania... AT ALL COSTS! The scene pans out where the Space Cowboys CJ Gates and Biggs are standing. They nod in agreement and shake hands with Jeff.
Back in the offices of the Sindicate, Level One is on the phone. Level One: Yes Felipe, He's in. No, I don't trust him... but that's fine... He'll do the right thing in the end..... No, I plan on just sitting back and watching things develop tonight. There's too much heat on us right now, no reason to fan the flames. Tonight we do nothing... tomorrow night, APW burns. Aubrey J. Parker is creeping in the shadows, constantly watching her back, worried that somebody will show up and slide a knife into it. She see's former Overdrive Champion Chris Cyrus creeping around a corner, trying to get a peek on somebody. She finds a steel pipe laying in the garbage can and sneaks up behind him. AJP: What's up Peeping Tom? As he turns around, she burries the pipe into the front of his skull and he goes down hard, knocked out!
DEAD: NOBODY! Day 2 - 18 alive - 10 to lynch. DAY STARTS NOW! |
