I've only skimmed the show so far. Video is great, because I'm in it, but I really don't like the song - but hey, I'm not the one making the videos etc, so more power to you mate!
I'll have a proper read tomorrow. I really should start helping out a lot more here ...

I didn't "hate" the shorter results, but in no way whatsoever are they better than full results.

Wow hated the song is strong, I guess Kung Fu fighting is more your sstyle Streets. The short results are OK. I appologize for not being able to write any matches this week. I had my Uncles' from Maine in town for UFC. Needless to say Jaegar Bombs...and more Jaegar Bombs...anyways. I here and ready to roll.
BDC...I'd say yeah you should really help out here more...it would be great to get some more guys.
It seems we are in a transition again, who knows we'll pull it together.

the entire show is up. Sorry for having to do short results, but if you want long results, everyone needs to pitch in with match writing. I could have wrote all the matches, but I'm not going to be one of those feds where it takes me a week to post a show.
So you guys want long results, volenteer to write matches. Never wrote a match before, then here's your chance to learn.
I'll have next week's card posted later this afternoon, or later tonight

Great show, I loved the segements!
Let me say though, theres nothing wrong with short results. I have grown to like them better in particulary when dealing with weekly shows. The matches dont make the show, the segements and build up, makes a show. I loved reading long results when I was new to the game, now I prefer them short and to the point (with the exception of PPVS). With all due respect to Jeff; the way these short matches were written didnt work out as well as they potentially could; and I think its soley because Jeff is used to writing the longer matches. The short style; usually takes a different written approach.
Nonetheless, it was a great show. Keep the angles building guys, well done.

For the next few months I'm struggling just to get rps done, so helping out with match writing etc is impossible for me. Like I always say, family first, everything else second. No competition really.
Anyway, short matches, long matches - doesn't really matter mate. If people help with the writing then they get long matches, if not then they get short ones. LO is right - segments and angles make the shows more than anything.
Still, I wouldn't say we're struggling here in APW. The roster is strong, shows are up every week, and the overall quality is amazing.
All in all I'd say APW is a very succesfull efed.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I have a card written on paper but I'm not sure if I'm happy with it yet. But I will have a card posted tonight when I get home from school
Thanks for the feedback guys, and your right Level One, writting shorter matches is different than writing long matches

Great results Jeff. I could really care less if there are long or short results. As long as results get done. Anyways loved my match against Lynch. I thought the outcome was good. I can't wait until Carnage. Can't wait to see next weeks card.

It's just a song at the end of the day, and I say that the guy that spends hours putting the videos together gets to pick the song. Like I said, I don't love it, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it either. I'm MORE than happy that my character is in the video at all  |

I think maybe the problem is everyone keep adding the opinion...possibly the problem. Second what with people saying there is no competition, or a lack of competition.

There's no lack of competition here. 3 people didn't RP for Overdrive, and Its because they are busy with their move. There's plently of competion in APW and the next Overdrive card will show that if everyone RP's

That's exactly the same thing I was thinking when I watched the video. We still have the same overdrive theme song as we had in the first video.
Plus, there's nothing wrong with the song. It suite the mood, period.

Yeah, that was a monster!
I've struggled ever since the whole rp length limit came into play if I'm going to be honest, but hey - I haven't got time to write epic rps anymore anyway, so it's for the best.
I doubt I'll ever get back to the form I was in back then. Even though the rps were long, they were good - and I know that sounds big headed, but I'm the first to critisize myself when I'm bad, and the same goes for when I'm good.
Oh well, we'll see innit!
