Michael Lively News
At Test for the Best, the “Death Wish” Character who was making President Jeff’s life miserable for the past few weeks has been revealed to be former World Champion, Michael Lively. Lively left APW after losing the world title to Level One at Rasslemania 5 to wrestle for IWC, which died soon after. With realizing a mistake he made, leaving APW for a unorganized Indy fed, Lively returns to APW trying to get his job back.
Lively is not Under Contract, and with the antics he’s pulled with the boss, it doesn’t look like Jeff is interested in resigning the former World Champ. However, President Jeff has invited Lively to Boston for Overdrive to face the Overdrive Champion, Shadow. Why? This is what President Jeff had to say;
“Lively isn’t under contract, so what ever happens to him in the ring, Myself and APW isn’t responsible.”
Experts Extreme Tournament 2009
The first round match up has been announced for this 64 person tournament. 4 superstars will be representing APW in this tournament. In first round match up, Biggs takes on Jay Phoenix from PRIME/PTC. Pence Weatherlight takes on T-Bone from TAWA. Chris “BDC” Defoe comes out of retirement for this tournament and is taking on Emma McIntyre from HIW. And Level One takes on Chris Champion from SCCW.
On a side note, Level One won this tournament last year.
Streets Wilson’s Mystery opponent at Overdrive
With Streets Wilson turning on President Jeff as Test for the Best, one can only assume this mystery opponent doing was because of President Jeff. Its obvious that President Jeff wants revenge on his former body guard. Not telling him who his opponent is, is one thing, but with the people Jeff knows in this business, the mystery man could be anyone.
APW Tour Schedule
For the first time in a year and a half, APW returns to 5 towns. Boston, Manchester, Portland, Montreal, Ottawa and then Toronto for Shockwave. This will be the first time since the very first show that APW has been in Toronto.
