This Monday WWE and TNA go head to head. The return of Bret Hart as the special guest host of Raw, plus Hogan is gonna be on TNA and they probably have a new surprise appearances as well. Should be interesting.

This thread just reminded me it was on. If I can remember to watch, I'll be tuning into TNA; and flipping just to see Bret Heart.

Can I challenge Pence to a shoot me match, where he starts off blindfolded and unarmed and Draven gets a fully armed Uzi?

Pence would still win that contest. Come up with a better handicap .

I'm so pumped for Bret Hart tomorrow night! I'll actually have to wait until Tuesday to watch it, as I don't have cable, and one of my co-workers burns all the wrestling shows to DVD for me. Bret is my third favorite all-time after Eddie Guerrero and The Brian Kendrick, so needless to say, I can't wait. As for TNA, they get the same response from me they always get, which is meh....

How? Hardy is shit anyway.
TNA was very "meh" for me. All they did was the parade of the wwe castaways.

Believe it or not Hardy was a huge draw for WWE so it is a big loss for WWE if he did or does sign with TNA.
And I agree its basically wwe rejects, don't they realize there is a reason y they r not with wwe anymore?

Well i watched Impact for most of the night. The main event was a damn good match. Any time AJ & Angel go one on one it's good. I was shocked to see Flair show up on Impact as well as Hardy. I think this might be a good start for TNA depending on where they go with this.

I watched impact. It sucked. The main-event was amazing, and the ending segment was really good. That's about it. I'd say, the last hour is worth watching at best. The main-event saved the entire show of being a complete, utter, epic failure.
TNA is going to get smashed in the ratings.

I agree with Level-One. When none of the other matches go over five minutes, you know your wrestling show is in trouble. The AJ vs. Angle match was longer than all the other matches combined, which is extremely poor for a three hour WRESTLING show. Also, what a shame that Hardy and Flair turned their backs on the great sendoffs they were given.

I only watched the first hour Impact, The hogan segment (Only cause in canada we get Raw on a 15 minute delay) then a switched over to raw for the Bret Hart stuff, which was the only thing worth watching on Raw. DX Vs JeriShow was good and Orton Vs Kofi would have been good if there was any chance of Kofi winning, but they already killed his push.
I'm downloading impact so I can watch the rest of it. The first hour of impact was horriable. The Cage match I thought was a great way to kick off the show, but then the match ended in a no contest, WTF, how does a cage match end in a no contest. And Homicide climbing the cage towards the hole at the top was just painful to watch. And Jeff Hardy re-debuting was just weak. Kinda random. I don't see Jeff saying in TNA too long though.

IMO; for the ''smart'' wrestling fans, they really should have been tuning into TNA last night if they really cared about improving the product, mainly the WWE's. I'm looking forward to seeing the ratings. I've scanned various websites and I gather TNA actually had the better show, which is pretty painful after seeing what I saw out of TNA.

Raw was the same old shit with Bret Hart hosting.
Why the Nasty Boys are in TNA, I will never now. I agree with the Steel Asylum ending being weak, the crowd even chanted "THIS IS BULLSHIT" I look forward to seeing what Orlando Jordan vs The Pope ends up doing as Jordan, like Shelton Benjamin, was horribly misused in WWE. Shannon Moore...eh, doesn't move the meter at all. Both women's match were better than any women's match WWE has done in 20+ years of me watching the product. Val Venis with the Beautiful People is just eye candy, looking forward to seeing Angelina Love's return next week. Now, if they can just go ahead and get Dreamer, RVD, and Paul Heyman in like is rumored. Wouldn't be shocked to see Matt Hardy come in and Christian's contract expires at the end of 2010, if TNA is solid and Christian is still being wasted on ECW expect him to return. Angle vs Styles, 20+ minutes long, clean ending with one failed run in and was very well done.

One thing that sucked about TNA is that the Nasty Boys got more TV time than Beer Money. One of the best tag teams in wrestling today and they get next to no TV time. like, WTF. If having all of Hogans friends being the key focus of the show in the upcoming weeks, then its gonna be WCW 2.0 and we all know what happened to WCW.
I read rumors that Helms and Matt Hardy may jump over and ask for their release. Also read that Hogan is getting rid of the 6 sided ring and going back to the 4 sided ring.

Yea, this Thurs is a replay of the Monday show but next week will be the final show with the 4 sided ring.
BTW, WCW won the ratings war for two years but failed to build new starts which TNA has a ton of, i.e. Beer Money.

Let's be honest, if TNA was actually able to put forth a decent weekly Monday Program, it would push WWE to do better. Still, if what they put out last night is any indication, they aren't able to put forth a decent program. (AJ vs. Angle was amazing, but everything else pretty much stunk it up.)

as opposed Biggs to yet another Jericho losses and leaves Raw match vs DX or Kofi getting buried by Orton again? Evan Bourne being jobbed out despite being one the most entertaining guys on the roster. Hornswaggle....need I say more. Sheamus and is lack o' tan? Its the same 6 guys working the same 3 segments each and every week. Im not saying TNA was perfect, Steel Asylum anyone, but overall it was a better program and was actually interesting. Hart at the start and at the end was the ONLY thing remotely interesting for Raw.

Well the raitngs for Raw & Impact came out. Impact got as 1.5 & Raw a 3.6.
WWE is said to not be happy about there raiting seeing as they got that rating the week before and the fact they brought in Bret Hart expecting to draw a 4.0.
I kept so hoping tosee RVD show up on Impact but it didn't happen. I hope sometime soon they work out something and RVD does show up on TNA.
