[The scene opens with "Supersonic" Branden Harvey sitting in the parking lot outside the IWC Arena. In just a few hours, He will be facing "The Hybrid" Damian Dimitri in a match. Branden Harvey is trying to mentally prepare himself for the match. He gets out of his car and grabs his bag, full of his wrestling gear. He starts walking towards the building. As he approaches the entrance, he stops.]
Do I really have what it takes, he thinks. Can I, " Supersonic" Branden Harvey, a beginner, a newbie in the business, beat "The Hybrid" Damian Dimitri in a match. Especially my first match in pro wrestling?
[He stands there for a few minutes, too scared to go in. Finally, walks in. He sees a few IWC Misfits and waves to them.]
I was confident before, he thinks again. But that was because of my anger. The closer I got to the match, the more I realized who I was facing. I am facing one of the best this business has to offer. I have never wrestled a match before. He has more experience than I do and he has more talent than I do. I am going to lose.
[He keeps walking. He runs across an empty locker. He puts his bag down and begins to change into his wrestling gear.]
Damian Dimitri is better than me, he thinks. He has trained with Trevor Blackwell, an IWC original and a great wrestler in his own right. Trevor Blackwell treats Damian Dimitri as an equal. That must mean he sees him as an equal. That means I have to see him as equal to Trevor blackwell, as well.
[Branden Harvey finishes changing and sits on a bench, wanting to be left alone with his thoughts. Unfortunately, he is approached by a camera crew. They want him to express his thoughts leading up to his match with "The Hybrid" Damian Dimitri.]
Yeah. Right. he thinks. Like I am going to stand here on camera and tell the world, especially tell Damian Dimitri, that I am afraid of my match tonight. That I am afraid of Damian Dimitri. I am going to have to make something up. It is trash talking time.
Harvey: "The Hybrid" Damian Dimitri attacked me when I was trying to announce my debut in pro wrestling. That makes me very angry. I said before that this is wrestling, not street fighting. Yet, he was allowed to attack me.
Damian Dimitri, I asked for this match. Some people say that was a stupid mistake, a rookie mistake, if you will. I see where they are coming from. I am "Supersonic" Branden Harvey, a rookie. You are "The Hybrid" Damian Dimitri, a veteran. Why challenge a man that you can not beat, they ask me. My answer is simple.
Damian, I tell them that I CAN beat you. I know your skills. I know your strengths. I know your weaknesses. You know nothing about me, Hybrid. I can tell you that you usually beat people with the Hybrid Twist, the Cardiac Arrest, the Crowelyplex, the Blackwell Bomb, or the Jawjacker. What do you know about me? Well, you know that my name is "Supersonic" Branden Harvey and I have stitches on the bridge of my nose. That is all you know about me, Dimitri.
I am a complete mystery to you. I know I only weigh 140 pounds. I know I am small compared to most wrestlers. But, Hybrid, you do not know how dangerous this little guy can be.
Dimitri, Trevor Blackwell did not have what it took to wrestle anymore. That is a fact. Who was his replacement? Who did he train to take over? He trained Damian Dimitri, the Hybrid. As good as you are, you are not even close to the caliber of Trevor Blackwell. Maybe all he saw in you was an errand boy. I have no idea. Because I do not see what he sees.
Damian, you are Trevor Blackwell's puppet. He is controlling you like he controls his daughter. It is all he knows how to do. He was a puppet master in the ring. He is a puppet master outside of it. And, Damian, you are under his trap.
You are the dummy and he is the ventriloquist. You do and say what he wants you to do and say. If he says "jump," you say, "How high?"
Dimitri, I can feel your sadness. The world is filled with madness. And you have to take it out on someone. You, of course, chose me. There is nothing I can do about that. But you need to know something, Damian. I am not going to take it lying down. I don't care what you do to me. I will beat you. I can beat you any day of the week, Damian.
I understand that I do not know you that well. Not your personality anyway. As I said earlier, I have followed your career for years. I am not going to judge you, Damian. I am just going to punish you. I have been a fan of yours for years and this is how I am repaid? It makes me sick. I know you want to cry, Damian. So, instead, you sneak attack defensless people with broom handles. Damian, this is the biggest mistake of your career. This is a bigger mistake than not putting up a fight at Rasslemania. I do not care what you do. I am going to beat you, Damian.
I have goals in IWC. My first goal is to be Insane Champion. You are not going to stand in my way. I do not know what Reginald wants to do to crown the Champion, but I do not care. Because I am going to win it. It does not matter what he does. I will win. I hope I face you for the title, Damian. If I do, that means I get to beat you twice. I do not care what you do to me. Let me say that one more time. I do not care what you do to me, Damian. I am going to be the next Insane Champion. You are simply in the way. So...

[He turns away, but just prior to that, a look flashed across his face. A fearful look. What was he afraid of?]
I hope they did not know I was lying, he thinks. I do not want Damian to know that I am afraid of him. It was some good trash talk, though. I almost found myself believing it. But I am going to die tonight. I know it. The fans know it. Damian Dimitri knows it.
