I've heard OF Rapsody, never listened to her though. I did yesterday and she can rap but it isn't anything special at all. Not a fan.
Amanda Diva I hadn't and I checked her out too. Admittedly, I only listened to two songs - but she is unique - I like the poetic style she has. A little too much singing in there for my PERSONAL tastes but I'll be listening to a bit more.
On both fronts - still can't lyrically touch Alyssa but thanks for throwing the names out there. I like finding new artists especially female emecess who are largely under repesented.
EDIT - Yup, listened to a few more tracks. Amanda Diva is definitely quality! Love it. Thanks for the share again, Bailey!

If you can't dig this, I might ask you to re-tune your ears. Progressive Metal, Swing, Classical, Jazz, Groove, Ballroom Dance. All blended seamlessly.
THIS is what music should be doing nowadays.

Kane, I think we are alone in our taste here. Speaking of mewithoutYou however, have you heard their newest LP? It's actually quite brilliant. Not quite as good as Catch Us For the Foxes but much better than, say, A To B Life. Fox's dream is from Ten Stories. Personally, I think the last two mewithoutYou releases have been their best, the energy from their style whilst keeping true to a more indie style with cleaner vocals really strikes a chord with me. Plus, Haley Williams doesn't ruin the songs she appears on and works quite well. Defeater - "I don't mind" Not sure if I should get tickets to Ghostfest. On the one hand, Defeater are awesome and on the other, I have to travel to Leeds and Emmure are the Sunday headliners :/

The Eagles - "Hotel California"
This is easily my favourite song. Not a massive fan of the rest of The Eagles' stuff, but "Hotel California" is just brilliant.

I've always wanted to play this, but I really can't be arsed retuning my guitar for one song then tuning it back for the rest.

Gotye - "Someone that I used to know" Guilty pleasure I must admit My GOD I hate that song. Makes me want to bang my head against a wall. EDIT: Just because you've posted that, I'm going to have post some real music. Guile's Theme from Street Fighter. It literally goes with anything and is instrumental in helping me when I get the dreaded writers block for Callahan.

I have no clue why I like it, I just do for some strange reason. Nile - "Kahfir!" Absolutely love Nile. EDIT: Brett I know the song, I posted a link calling them The Human Corelia.

Haha. I actually like their singer over Travis. Though, since posting that, I've discovered "Treetops" is one of my least favorite tracks. The Sound Of Glaciers Moving. Now that is beautiful. Also, Art By Numbers. Its another wannabe THA. Same management, same audio engineer, and almost an identical logo.
Also, you checked out the new Nile track? Lots of bitching about the guitars being thin. But these people have obviously never listened to Woe Is Me, Alesana, or, TesseracT. Guitars sound cleaner. Thats all.
"The Fiends Who Come to Steal the Magick of the Deceased" - Nile
Im in quite a Nile mood myself, haha.

Nile's one of my favourite bands (Just ordered a top :D) The new track is a bit weaker than their other stuff, but still stellar.

I'm on this trip right now, remembering shit that has memories attached to the songs. So I'ma do some remembering and share? Cool? Breeze through..
I am a few years off this song being perfectly fitting to me. I have remastered the lyrics to fit myself better. This just hits home at how shit was as a kid and you had nothing to be worried about really but the games we played and the folks we hung out with. Back in the Days...Everyone has used the term and this song hits home for me HUGE.
This is the Remix, I prefer this due to the other dudes on it. (EXCEPT E40, I HATE THAT DUDE) The original plays to the same feel though. This was and still is THE WEED song and if you've never smoked to it, SHAME ON YOU!
At an early age, this was my first feel of HipHop. I wanted to be LL Cool J for Halloween so I painted myself light skinned black and had the one piece and hat, We spray painted rolled foil for the necklace and I carried a boom box that played this song. (Taped on both sides for full effect) Before the "Love" in Cool J came, he came BAD and owned the mic.
I've also stuffed my shirt with a pillow and became the Fourth member of this group when I was like 8 or 9 years old. I fell QUICKLY in love with Beat Boxing. A Lost Treasure for HipHop.
Okay, not so much an Old Song but something I for whatever reason can't stop coming back too. I think it's the Country Rap feel to it. Dude has a Southern Flow and I dig it enough, this track makes me wanna rep Tennessee!
