I don't hear Mainstream music these days, all of it garbage. Lil' Wayne get on my nerves, dude sucks and promotion is all that make him in the level he sitting at. With the right promotion Ja Rule was at the top at one time too remember? Music on the radio means you paying the most to be heard the most and I hate that folks give these clowns the nod for best in the game. Tech N9ne rock worlds around dudes lyrically. Tito Lopez is mix tapes right now but he kills tracks that others put on the radio, he has a few original songs but dude is the future and is on the come up now. I'll promote these dudes all day, Tito and I talk on Facebook. Good people. Listen to that 2nd song all the way through and tell me that doesn't TOP "Young Money" Morons...

Last one for now...hehe. This Roy Jones Jr, the boxer? Yeah well this his rap group and this song pumps my blood going into any heated argument. I write rps sometimes to this song and it just flows with the music. Great song.

Jon Lajoie isn't better. He's not even in the same category, really. His music appeals more those who actually dislike rap, because he pretty much makes fun of it. Those who do enjoy good rap music, listen because it's comedic and original.
When you posted his lyrics on the forum I didn't know if him and they're horrible... but put them to a beat with his style and flow and you got yourself a suprisingly good song; but again, in an entirely different way.
Ay, Kash. Check out my music in OCC; titled Verbal Artillery, you may like what you hear. At the very least, it isn't mainstream bullshit... so it can't be that bad.

I can't stand the garbage playing on the radio these days. Pac would be murder Wayne, Drake, and all these fools who think they top spot right now. If I was gonna listen to someone mainstream it'd be Jeezy but only cause he close to being real good. I'ma have to find that music you mentioned. Where it at?

I like Jon Lajoie's songs (maybe not as much as Branden), but i obviously don't consider them real rap songs. As a fan of both hip hop and alt rock i often get caught in the middle of the argument of what is better, but i can appreciate a good joke at how repetitive today's mainstream rap is, which is why i lean more towards Alt rock these days...with that said, Kash gets points for posting "Back In The Day" by Ahmed. That was the first rap song i ever learned. And the first ever cassette tape i had, also, if i recall. In fact, i'll see your Ahmad, and raise you.....
