* The scene opens up to Nate Bishop walking through the snowy and frozen Central park In New York. Wearing a black North Face jacket and jeans he casually strolls through the park as the IWC cameras follow him. *
Nate - Rico’s words last week keep in my mind- calling me undeserving when really he should be telling me that he’s grateful. Grateful in the fact that he could say he stepped in the ring with me, honor that my boot graced the side of his jaw- grateful that I Nate Bishop can calculate and know when a battle truly means less then the war. You see Rico thinks that all this is over. The beast was “ fed “ and The Loose Cannon will continue to run his mouth about how great he is when I shown how human and humble he is. Only I saw the fear in his eyes, the worry, the discourse that comes with a man that stares his own destiny in his eyes. I saw that fevered, panic stricken look in his eyes, the heavy breathing. That must come when a man eats, right ? Wrong! That happens when a man knows he’s being hunted, when is time is at hand. Rico Casteel may have been fed but Nathan Bishop still has to hunt. Our first encounter was merely a trial run, stalking the game trails if you will. In seeing what lays ahead of me, I can accurately plan for what’s in front of me this week.
By stalking the trails and chumming the waters, coaxing out The Loose Cannon I’ve seen more then I need to see of him to get the job done when the time comes but for the moment what’s in front of me is a triple threat match. This triple threat is for a contender ship which many already believe I’m above- for a title that some believe is already mine. You see there’s a lot more to me then what I displayed against Rico Casteel; there’s so much more that the IWC feels it necessary to put me against two other men. They’re doing this not because The Mad Man and the “ Ice “ man are worthy opponents or that they can compare to Nate Bishop. IWC fears Nathan Bishop- as it should so they want to stack odds against my favor because I made them all too uncomfortable last week. So what do they do? They want to see if The Chosen Future can live up to his name- well does Rico Casteel have inferiority complex?
* Nate Shakes his head *
Nate - Oh yes. Three way dances, Fatal Fourways.. Six man brawls.. dodecahedron donnybrooks.. you name it and Nathan Bishop can do it. My agility, dexterity, stamina and all around unyielding will is what carries me through and those are the exact qualities needed if you want to get that victory. I personify those qualities in such a way that they are the matches that I look forward to. I look forward to controlling the pace, dictating the action and being that thought looming in everyone’s mind. Ebon and Iceman won’t make a single move with out first thinking “ gee, I wonder if Bishop will capitalize on this” Or if I will come out of no where and tip momentum yet again in my favor. As I see it, both men are distractions, not only a distraction for the IWC so they don’t have to face the inevitable but distractions with themselves. Ebon has this whole love triangle thing going on with Chambers and Cyrus where he probably feels that he can become Insane Champion through association; an Iceman who? Gallos checked the records for me, Iceman has not been seen or heard from since November. Unless Punxsutawney Phil knows something we don’t because he may not have seen his shadow but IWC hasn’t seen Iceman since before the start of winter- which I guess makes logical sense but its absurd that the man whose namesake has to do solely with winter is coincidentally absent for it ?
I know that the IWC is trying to get all you good, hardworking Nathan Bishop, DangerTainment fans to drink the kool-aide but don’t be roped in for, even if it is Brendan Harvey and Rico Casteel out side your house dressed like little girls, pig tails an all trying to sell you a cup for five cents so that Brendan can buy himself a winning match that doesn’t involve Chambers and Rico can get that pint of rocky road ice cream he so desperately wants- don’t be fooled by cheep imitations. Don’t be brought in by irrelevant nostalgia acts like Iceman. Cyrus wants to be your future Insane Champion an all Ebon wants to do ride that gravy train. There won’t be any gravy when he steps into the ring with me, only regret. It’s a shame Iceman’s name will have worn out its relevance when Nathan Bishop jacks his neck up into the mat.
* Nate stops for a moment, exhaling- letting the warm air escape his body and billow out into the day light. *
Nate - It’s the past fighting the future, even all this snow must melt and yield in the face of the coming spring.; so must Ebon an Iceman. I know that neither can compare to my agility- so maybe they’ll try and ground me but eventually their own greed will give way and not allow one to gain the upper hand. Dexterity will allow me to go and change the pace on the fly. Changing the game on your opponents before they have a chance to fully adapt is a great way to keep them off balance and that’s exactly what I intend to do. All this squabbling, turkey running, is just what I want them to do because like I said before- I’m here to hunt. My stamina will ensure that I’ll see my hunt through the end and meet Rico Casteel sooner then he’s like to imagine . Last week I told everyone that these matches are what I’m good at an I WILL show the world exactly that. What’s Ebon gonna do ? Ohh-- ohh!! I know..
* Nate snaps his fingers. *
Nate - He’s gonna knock me out, right ? Tell me I should stay home and leave this fight to the big dogs but Nate Bishop don’t hear so well. DangerTainment don’t listen so well because it’s a distraction from our goals; The Suicidal Championship. It’s no rocket science that I’m not the biggest guy around but Rico thought he knocked me out, Rico thought he got rid of me- sent me away- that he got his noon feeding. Funny thing is that I’m still right here, standing in the way. Looming over his head like a shadow of doubt; the shadow of doubt that his time is quickly coming to an end. I know that he’ll be begging Ebon an Iceman to save him from a rematch with Nate Bishop; the soon to be Suicidal Champion. This number one contender ship is just a stay of execution for Rico because every big game has a hunter and every Rico Casteel has a Nathan Bishop.
* Nate starts to laugh to himself as the scene starts to fade. *
