Rasslemania 03/27/2011 Approximately 8:30 pm EST.
The scene opens in the locker room of the Rasslemania arena. We see Rachelle Lodge standing there as Terry walks out from one of the back rooms after showering and changing back into his street clothes. She gives him an "I'm Sorry" look and he just shrugs.
Rachelle: "You alright?"
Terry Marvin: "No...Not Really."
He walks over to the bench in front of a locker area that has "The Real Show" Terry Marvin on a white name card taped tot he top of it. Terry starts gathering up his stuff.
Rachelle: "You BUSTED your ass tonight. You almost had it."
Terry Marvin: "I'm getting really really tired of almost. Before, when i almost won...I passed it off as me not being focused enough, of a bit of ring rust, of me not being at my best, of me not giving it all I had. Tonight, that wasn't the case. I gave it all, but it just wasn't good enough."
Terry continues to gather up his stuff and Rachelle puts a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.
Rachelle: "I don't believe that for a second. You'll get him next time."
Terry stops at that last sentence. He hangs his head and lets out a deep sigh.
Terry Marvin: "I don't think there's gonna be a next time."
Rachelle: "What're you talking about?"
Terry puts his stuff down and looks at her.
Terry Marvin: "I came back here for one last run...one last journey at the top. I didn't need to be here, I don't need to still be in this business. I've accomplished everything one can possibly accomplish in a wrestling career. I just wasn't ready to give it up, wasn't ready to say goodbye. I was being selfish, and stupid. I was being stubborn."
Rachelle: "Are you saying what I think you're saying?"
Terry lets out a deep sigh and peeks his head out the locker room. He hears the sound of the crowd cheering for whatever the next match is and a smile comes to his face.
Terry Marvin: "I think I am. It just feels like the right time. Kenny Rodgers said it best...You gotta know when to walk away, and know when to run. Nothing lasts forever right?"
Terry walks up to his locker, and looks at his name tag. He pulls the tag off, smiles and stuffs it in his bag. He looks at Rachelle and smiles.
Terry Marvin: "C'Mon Babe, let's go celebrate."
Rachelle: "Celebrate what?"
Terry Marvin: "One HELL of a ride."
He throws his arm around her and grabs his bag. They exit the locker room and head down the hall. Terry stops for a second, walks over to the curtain and takes one last look at the crowd. He smiles and then turns back to Rachelle. Slowly they exit the arena as the scene fades to black.
