to a shot of inside the Billings, Montana, airport. The new Xtreme Champion, Nathaniel Havok, and just the plain, young, regular Sally Talfourd have to made the flight back to Charlotte to make the Asylum show coming up. Shane walks on over to them, sitting out the front of Gate 40. The plane is there, but getting restocked and whatever else needs to happen. As Shane comes up on new tag team duo, Sally holds up a finger to her lips for her cameraman. She 'shhh' Shane, then carefully points over to Havok, who is busy dozing. Better to sleep now than throw out those cycles. Shane sits next to her, and Sally leans close so that she can be heard with her whisper.
[Sally] I thought it would be, you know, ok for APW's newest champion to get a little rest. I mean, it took a heck of a lot to win that chuck of gold … *Sally gestures to the bag on the ground, obviously holding the APW Xtreme Championship* … and I need him to be in tip-top condition if he's going to have my back. I mean, did you see what Kash did to this guy?
[Shane] I think we all did, Sally.
[Sally] he's bandaged up pretty heavy under all these clothes – not that he'll tell you that. But don't you worry … *Sally gently pats Havok on the head, like he were her sleeping child* … I'll make sure Kash gets what he deserves this week. You'll just have to watch from backstage …
With that, Havok stirs. He rolls his head over as he gets a little more comfy (though, how comfy can you be in an airport seat?) and mutters something under his breath.
[Sally] Uh-oh. Did you wake him up Shane?
[Shane] Me? You touched him...
Havok continues to mutter. On closer inspection, Sally sees that he's still asleep. But it doesn't look much like it's a good sleep. He mutters to himself. He stirs. He doesn't look comfortable. All of a sudden, he's getting louder. Sally places a hand on his shoulder and shoves him. It's not enough to wake Havok up. He keeps on yelling. Sally nearly pushes him out of his seat. Havok wakes up enough, but, in a daze...
[Havok] Attack! Attack them! They're traitors!
Sally looks taken aback. Then Havok finally comes to. He looks around, half out the chair. He spots a whole group of people looking at him. Then he spots Sally. She looks worried. Very worried. What has she got herself in for with this guy. People have talked about, you know, his 'black magic' and stuff. Even Sally's poked fun at it at times. Us this it though? Havok pulls himself into his seat.
[Sally] What was …
[Havok] Nothing.
[Sally] Are you …
[Havok] Fine. *Havok crosses his arm, turns slightly from Sally* Drop it.
Sally cocks an eyebrow at Havok, then looks back to the camera and Shane. She looks a little stunned, then gets to thinking. The scene then fades away. There's a pause. Then it comes in, but candid camera style. Shane is hiding around a corner. He peeks the camera around and Sally – oblivious to being filmed – stands there talking with another woman.
[Sally] … and if you could talk to him?
[Woman] Sure, Sal. Not a problem. But, I can't keep him off the books. If what you described is, you know, accurate this might end up being a lot of sessions. And if it is …
[Sally] Don't worry about costs and that. And the books, keep it all above board. Just … don't go letting this into the dirt-sheets. Shrink sessions … therapy sessions? They might be fine for John and Jane Smith. But in our business? Someone could use that to get into his head, and then …
[Woman] And they you've got more problems. *She puts a hand on Sally's shoulder* Don't worry, Sal. It'll be fine. This Nathaniel? So long as he's open to it? We'll get things sorted with him.
[Sally] Lani, you're a saviour. This guy, he's a real good guy.
[Woman] How good, hey Sally?
[Sally] No! Oh, no no no. He's good at wrestling. He's going to be a great partner. It's all for business, promise. Just, look out for him. If he's hearing voices in his head, he need to get some help.
That's enough for Shane to hear. The scene is quick to cut away, no fade out. There's a pause, and then
"Sally Talfourd and Nathaniel Havok"
is handwritten across the screen, in purple. Before it fades out and the episode closes.
