The scene opens up shortly after Chris Cyrus match with The Gambler and Isamu on Asylum. Chris enters his dressing room and slams the door shut
Chris: I had it. I had the match won. I hit Isamu with the Straight to Hell. All I had to do what pin him and I would be the suicidal Champion. But once again, The Gambler screwed me over. He cost me another title. I did all the dirty work and he came in and Stole the victory and the championship from me.
AHHHHHRRRRGGGHHHH!!
Chris grabs the bench in his dressing room and flips it over, then grabs his water bottle and throws it at the door.
Chris: The only thing I didn’t want to happened, Happened. All I wanted was to leave this match and not see Gambler with the Title. Isamu as champion should have been ok with me. But now, The Gambler as Suicidal Champion? Give me a break. What has this company come too. Everyone knows Chris Cyrus is better than the Gambler, but why the hell is the Gambler getting the best of me. I’m a Triple Crown Champion for crying out loud. I held the Xtreme Title for almost an entire year, and The Gambler, he gets the best of Chris Cyrus.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
Chris: Great, now what
Chris goes over and opens the door and standing there is the General Manager of Asylum, Reginald Schmidt
Reginald: Excuse me Mr. Cyrus. I was informed that there was some commotion in here following your match.
Chris: Nope, no commotion in here
Reginald sticks his head in and see the bench flipped over and the bottle of water next to the door with a puddle of water under the bottle.
Reginald: What happened there
Reginald points to the bench and water
Chris: Fine, I lost my temper. But can you blame me. For the past couple months, The Gambler has been costing me matches left and right. And now tonight, just as I was about win the Suicidal Championship, he goes and steals that win from me. Its frustrating knowing that your better than someone, but they keep getting the best of you
Reginald: Well maybe the Gambler is better than you?
Chris: Hey now, we both know that’s not true
Reginald: Listen, take a deep breath and calm down. If make any damage in that room and its coming out of your pay check. Plus, you got The Gambler at Shockwave which is now for the Suicidal Championship.
Chris: Good point Reginald. But I can’t wait that long. I want to get my hands on Gambler now.
Reginald: I’ll tell you what Chris, I can’t guarantee that you’ll get your hands on The Gambler, but what I can guarantee is that on the next Asylum, you got yourself a match with Bobby Bodacious. Hows that sound.
Chris thinks for a second
Chris: Bobby Bodacious huh? You know what, I can live with that.
Reginald: Good. Now pick that bench up and clean up that water. Last thing I knee is President Jeff getting mad at me again.
Reginald walks away, leaving Chris to clean his mess as the scene fades out
The scene opens back up a few days after the Asylum show. Chris Cyrus is seen inside of a local gym working out. Chris is hanging from a bar, doing chin up.
Chris: Ninety Seven, Ninety Eight, Ninety Nine…..One Hundred
Chris lets go of the bar and then see’s the camera man recording him
Chris: Its about time you showed up. And as you just saw, I, Chris Cyrus, is working harder than ever in the gym. See, I’ve been in a slump as of late. Losing to Diamante Valentine, BDC, Rico, and just recently, The Gambler. The thing with all those loses, at some point in the match, The Gambler gotten involved. It got me thinking. Maybe, I shouldn’t be blaming Gambler for all of my loses. Maybe the person that I should be blaming and the person I should be mad is, me.
In my matches, I’ve spent too much time worrying about The Gambler. Worrying to match wondering when he would show up in my matches. What I should have been doing is focusing on my opponent. Studying their weaknesses. Studying their strengths. Being in the gym, preparing for my next match, making sure I’m in shape and ready. My next match, its against The Gamblers Partner, Bobby Bodacious. I know that the Gambler will be at ringside watching, but I’m not going to let that distract me. I know Gambler will get involved and I will be ready for it, but my focus, it will be on Bobby Bodacious. Its time I put my losing stream to an end, and it begins with Bodacious.
Bobby Bodacious, your in a bad spot right now. Because now, I need to beat you. And I’m going to do everything that it takes to make sure that happens. But also, your best friend and partner, is a man that I absolutely hate at the moment. And the fact that I’m in the gym right now busting my ass, it just goes to show you that next Sunday, your in for a world of hurt.
We are just about a month away from Shockwave. And at Shockwave, I will be taking on The Gambler. And with him being at ringside watching, I’m going to show him just what’s in store for him at Shockwave. The thing with you Bobby. All you are is The Gamblers side kick. You’ve accomplished nothing on either on Asylum or Overdrive. Before, while knowing that, subconsciously, I wouldn’t take you too seriously, but now, you need this win just as much as I do. And the odds are in your favor right now. But that doesn’t phase me.
You want to call yourself a Superstar. That’s all fine and dandy, but me, I’m a Megastar, That means I am better than you. You pride yourself in being very intelligent, and being great at everything you do. Well, it doesn’t take a genius to know Bobby that your not in my league. I’ve beaten some of the greats in this company. Pence Weatherlight, the AKA, even the current Undisputed Champion, Biggs. What have you done Bobby. And what does that Say about me, and about you. Statistically, you stand no chance against me. But this is wrestling. Where anything can happen. But like I said before. I’m going to do everything in my power to ensure I walk out victories.
Don’t think I don’t hear the critics. Don’t think I hear the fans talking. For the past couple months, since I started my losing streak, I’ve been hearing people say that I suck and that I’m a loser. Quite franking, I’m tired of it. I’m tired of losing. I’m better than this and everyone knows it. I need to win before I get compared to Jason Royce. I need to win so people can start taking me seriously again. And I need to win because, Losing, its just plain no fun at all.
And that’s why, on July 31st at Asylum. Bobby Bodacious, get ready. Bring everything you got. Bring the Gambler with you. Because your gonna need him. This Chris Cyrus, he got a wake up call last week. This Chris Cyrus, he’s coming to Asylum for Business. This Chris Cyrus, will buy you a one way ticket Straight To Hell. Bobby Bodacious, at Asylum, I will show you why I am just Simply…..AWESOME!
With that, the camera fades to black
