It had been six months since Hayley had stepped into a wrestling ring. Six long, painful months. Hayley had been working in another promotion having the time of her life. She had a boyfriend and things were looking great. She was on top of the world until she got a call that changed it all. It was unexpected and it shattered her world completely. Hayley thought she was invincible but then the call came in that her mother had breast cancer and things all became way too real for her. It wasn't like dealing with an opponent in the ring or a perverted photographer. It wasn't something she could beat for her mother either which killed her. So Hayley flew back to Santa Monica, leaving wrestling behind her and focusing on family. It was hard but she had to be there for her mom and nothing else mattered. During those months her mother fought hard and eventually beat the disease. It was amazing news for Hayley but she then realized she needed to go back to work once more.
Would she go back to just model like her mom wanted? It was easy money and she got to go to amazing locations and have a blast. Or would she do what she loved, wrestling? Of course her dad wanted to hire back her former agent/manager to help her but Hayley wanted to do things on her own. After a few calls she got back in the gym and started to train… Her love for wrestling beating out the easy money. She did a few modeling gigs while getting back into shape but it was over now. Now she was standing outside of an arena in Nashville, Tennessee as the newest member of the APW Asylum roster. She had on a strapless one piece black dress that barely covered her ass and a black belt around the waist with some bracelets and a necklace hanging down over her cleavage. The few people standing outside were all staring at her, checking her out. There weren't many girls in APW so she didn't mind. The idea of starting over in a new company though that was something she was scared of.
It wasn't like she would be alone though. Inside the building in front of her was Jason Kash, her former boyfriend. They had a quick break-up because of the situation. Jason understood but had a look of disappointment in his eye when she told him it was over. It wasn't personal and he knew that. Did he know that she still cared for him though? Or had he moved on to a new girl? Seeing him with someone else would be hard she knew but she would have to understand. Hayley took a deep breath before pushing the door open and stepping into the arena. Stepping into a new world, a new job and a new future. Here we got Hayley. She thought to herself as she entered the building.
SHANE WEST: Excuse me, Hayley Hitch, correct?
She turned and saw a vaguely familiar man standing to her side. He had a smirk on along with a cheap suit but over his shoulder stood a camera man filming everything that was going down. Hayley grinned, thankfully she dressed up a bit before coming to the arena.
HAYLEY HITCH: That's me and you are?
SHANE WEST: West, Shane West, backstage interviewer for Action Packed Wrestling. I heard you were arriving and I wanted to welcome you to Asylum.
HAYLEY HITCH: Thanks Shane. It is a pleasure being here. I've been out of the ring a few months now but I felt that out of all my choices that APW was the best suited for me. I mean it has the best talent in the world but it is lacking a bit in the sexy department. I am hoping to fix that and to kick some ass along the way.
SHANE WEST: Haha! I am pretty sure the show got about twenty times hotter with you on camera and I'm guessing your viewership among 13 to 50 year olds went up.
HAYLEY HITCH: They actually have Viagra now too, Shane, so it might be from 13 to grave that got a bit more viewers.
They shared a laugh and Hayley hoped that she wasn't coming off too much like some model bitch who thought she was the hottest thing in town. But she actually did think she might be the hottest thing in APW but she wouldn't say that on camera.
SHANE WEST: Very true. I'm sure the male viewers are thrilled to have you on the show and I'm betting a lot of the male roster is excited too. Do you ever worry some guy might get too excited in the ring with you?
HAYLEY HITCH: That is a very weird question… But if they do then that just gives me one more appendage sticking out to beat down and twist until they tap. I do whatever it takes to win and if some dude is too busy looking at my ass and can't wrestle then he'll pay for it. They will never, ever make that mistake a second time if it happens. I promise you that.
SHANE WEST: Speaking of excited men on the roster what is your relationship like with Jason Kash? I remember reading on the dirt sheets awhile back you were a couple then all the sudden it broke off.
HAYLEY HITCH: Yeah, we were a couple in a different company. It seems like a different life too almost. I've changed so much since I was with Jason but mostly for the better. We were pretty hot and heavy but then I had to take some time off for personal reasons so we broke it off. It might of worked as a long distance thing but I honestly didn't want to have to have a man on the road all the time while I was dealing with my family in California. It was easier to break it off.
SHANE WEST: But now you two are in the same company and traveling together once more, correct?
HAYLEY HITCH: That's right… And I honestly have no idea what it will be like when I see him again. I'm sure it'll be fine though and no matter how things turn out it'll be good to catch up with him. We haven't talked much since he has been so busy dealing with things here and I've had my own things happening.
SHANE WEST: Are you going without your agent this time around?
HAYLEY HITCH: Yeah, I did split with my agent. He was trying to help but at the same time I didn't like someone telling me what to do. I want to be my own woman here in APW. This is a fresh start, a new beginning and most people here don't know me so they will get to know me without some non-wrestler whispering in my ear how I should wrestle.
SHANE WEST: Yeah, that can be troublesome for sure. What are your goals now that you've signed a deal and are apart of the Asylum roster?
HAYLEY HITCH: I don't have goals at the moment. There are championships to be won of course but first I need to get a couple victories under my belt. There is a huge talent pool in APW so getting a win against anyone will be a challenge but one that I'm confident I can accomplish. I know that at my best in that ring I can beat nearly anyone at their best. Hold for hold I'm a dangerous woman. People don't look at me and think I'm a technical wrestler but I am. I've studied submission wrestling all over the world and I will pick a opponent apart piece by piece until they give in. Inside that ring I'm cold, I'm calculating and I'm determined. I'm sure most people will let my smiling face trick them into thinking I'm a pushover but that is the furthest thing from the truth, Shane.
SHANE WEST: I completely believe you, Hayley. Anyone you wanna face in particular on Asylum?
HAYLEY HITCH: Sally. She is a former champion and as a strong female in APW I would like to test myself against her. Besides her though maybe Jason Kash. I mean we dated so we may as well roll around in the ring and see who comes out on top. I know it is weird saying I want to face him but it is all in the spirit of competition.
SHANE WEST: Understandable and I'm sure either of those matches would be a blast to see. Hopefully you'll have a nice long career in APW so we'll see both at some point.
HAYLEY HITCH: Thank you.
SHANE WEST: No, thank you and I'm sure we'll have more conversations in the future.
HAYLEY HITCH: I certainly hope so. I plan on being here for a long time.
She smiled at him before he nodded his head and looked back at the camera guy, motioning for him to cut it off. He then smiled and headed off leaving Hayley in the hallway by herself again. The sudden interview wasn't too unexpected. They said someone might be looking for her. She let out a long sigh and started towards the locker rooms trying to find her new one. She only came to check things out and get some final details worked out. She wasn't sure if they would add her to the card or not yet.
JASON KASH: I would recognize that ass from a mile away.
Hayley froze as she heard the distinctive voice of Jason Kash behind her. She took a deep breath and turned around as Jason walked up to her and held out his arms for a hug. There was no way she was going to deny him either and she wrapped her arms around him, kissing him on the cheek, inches away from his lips.
HAYLEY HITCH: Jason! I'm so glad to see you again.
JASON KASH: You too. You are looking amazing too girl. How is your mom doing?
Hayley smiled. Jason acted like a pothead tough guy a lot on camera but he had a heart of gold that few people got to see. He was concerned for her family too when she told him all those months back.
HAYLEY HITCH: She is doing way better. Her cancer is in remission now and she is out and about again.
JASON KASH: Wow. That is fantastic and you are here to visit then? Or…
HAYLEY HITCH: I just signed a contract to be on Asylum actually. My mom was tired of me taking care of her so she sent me back to the ring. Actually she wanted me to go try out for a bikini contest but I knew I had to come to the ring. You know I couldn't stay away too long.
JASON KASH: No way. I'm glad you're back and being on Asylum is even better. Shit… I wish I could take you out for a drink right now but I have to go do some promotional shit. You free tonight? Dinner? It is all on me.
She smiled as she tilted her head back and forth. She had no plans for course but jumping right back into dinner with Jason seemed a bit fast but it also seemed like it would be a perfect way to get the feel for APW. He would tell her straight and not bullshit around the messy details.
HAYLEY HITCH: Yeah. I'm staying at the Marriott down the road.
JASON KASH: Nice. Room number?
HAYLEY HITCH: Room 2231. How about around nine? That way we can avoid all the crowds.
JASON KASH: I'll be there. You look amazing. Did I say that already? I'm kind of high.
HAYLEY HITCH: You are going to remember the date, right?
JASON KASH: Hayley there is no way in hell I'm going to forget that. I'm glad I bumped into you. I'll see you tonight and I would tell you to wear something sexy but you'd be sexy in a pair of sweat pants and a hoodie.
Jason grinned before he leaned in and gave her a quick, soft kiss on the lips. Then in a flash he was gone down the hallway in a hurry so he wouldn't be late. Even the quick kiss gave Hayley a chill down her spine and all the emotions involved with Jason came flooding back. She licked her bottom lip before taking a step forward and slowly going to her locker room. It was just the first day in APW and things already seemed pretty damn good.
Would she go back to just model like her mom wanted? It was easy money and she got to go to amazing locations and have a blast. Or would she do what she loved, wrestling?
