I have seen plenty of games with day roles. It is up to the mod what role he uses, and when they are allowed to use them.

C.J's right and we've got to have a lynch at this point or all of this is going to continue going on. The only thing we have to go on is James info that Knuckles is scum. If he doesn't turn up scum, James, you're done!
VOTE: KNUCKLES

Well, I'm going to roll the dice. See what happens.
Unvote
Vote: Knuckles
Pretty much, if Knuckles is lynched and comes up town, then we can turn our attention to James. If Knuckles is scum, I don't think it means James is town, but he probably wouldn't be scum.

Vote List: Knuckles -5 (JamesV, Lester "L1" Only, Arcadia, Rebel , CJ Gates) JamesV - 3 (Knuckles, President Jeff, Jesse)
Alright guys, daytime's up. We're ending today on a no-lynch because no player reached 7 votes. I don't have time to do a write-up at the moment (at school!), so we’ll jump straight to night-time so you guys aren't waiting like you were last time. You may now send me night actions. Please have them all in by 1 PM EST on November 16th (24 hours).
By the way guys, for future reference, you may not vote AFTER the time for the day ends. I didn’t explicitly explain that in the rules, so I let it slide this time. You may talk after that time passes, but votes will not be counted.

(Hey guys! I wasn’t going to do a write-up to end day 2, but was asked to do one via PM, so I’ll do a quickie! The night phase is NOT over, and still ends at 1EST on November 16th. Enjoy this until then!)
SAW Mafia Day 2- Daytime
“HOLY SHIT!”
Several of the players standing around the window back away in horror, having watched the Detective die just moments ago. In the back, the Redneck snarls in disgust, while the Recluse vomits in the background!
The Peeping Tom: He…he’s dead. Jigsaw got him…
The Liar: Jigsaw didn’t do shit. He made his own choice. He should have gotten out when he had the chance instead of wasting time on those damn dolls!
The Redneck: But what’s it mean? He had that number, so what does that mean?
The Survivor: I’m not waiting around to find out…
The Survivor begins to walk away from the scene, but he’s stopped as the Rapist steps in his way.
The Rapist: Where do you think you’re going? One of us just DIED, and you want to walk off like it was nothing? If we don’t figure out to survive this, we’re all dead!
The Survivor: Correction…you’re all dead. I’m not playing some game for my life. I’m getting out of here, and I suggest the rest of you try and do the same…or end up like him.
The Survivor points to the Detective’s dead body, and several members of the group begin to shuffle around uncomfortably…until a television comes on in the background.
Jigsaw: Greetings everyone. I trust that you have all begun to grow accustomed to the walls that hold your secrets. Should you hope to carry those secrets past these walls, you must begin to think as a unit. However, not all parts are necessary for a machine to function. So I ask you…who will sacrifice themselves so this group can function?
Suddenly, a nearby door opens, revealing another dark room. Inside are a series of hooks hanging from the ceiling.
Jigsaw: Inside is your next test, and salvation for one of you. Think hard: Discovering the link between you all will not save you from your tests. Only finding my apprentices among you will…but know that it is not their will to be truthful towards you. Find their lies before they find you. Live or die…make your choice.
The television turns to static, and the group faces the room that will no doubt test one of them.
The Gossiper: Any volunteers?
The Liar: Fuck that. What about the quiet ones?
The Liar begins to walk among the group, where a few people in the background haven’t been exceptionally vocal. He eyes each and every one of them.
The Liar: Any of you gonna die so I can live? Sounds fair to me.
?: Fair…yeah right.
The Liar turns towards a person in a hood, who is just smiling to themselves.
The Original Apprentice: You wouldn’t know fair if it jammed those hooks into your brain. We’re all going to face our tests sooner or later. You just have to decide if you’re doing it now, or if Jigsaw’s followers are going to stick you in it. That’s our real choice, right?
The Liar: You've been quiet ever since this game started. You know something about this game that we don't?
The Original Apprentice: I know your big mouth is the reason you're here...right? A criminal isn't going to intimidate a criminal, so I suggest you stop trying.
The Liar eyes the person in front of him, unsure of what to make of him. The Original Apprentice just smirks, but before anyone else can react, The Redneck scoffs.
The Redneck: Fuck this. I’m gonna go hold up somewhere and wait for help.
The Liar: Sounds like a Goddamn good idea to me...
The group begins to disperse, as The Rapist looks around, seeing the empty rooms filled with Jigsaw traps.
The Rapist: If we don’t start filling these rooms…none of us are making it out of here…what are we missing here?
*NIGHT 2 CONTINUES*

SAW Mafia Day 2 – NightThe Survivor moves into another hallway as the group breaks apart. He ends up in what appears to be a bed room of some sort. After a few moments, he’s joined by another member of the house. The Liar: You’ve got the right ideas about this place. We’re not going to get out of here by sticking our heads in the meat grinder. There’s clues out of here, right? The Survivor: Why are you asking me? I didn’t put us here. The Liar: I just get the feeling that some people in this house know more than they say they do…if Jigsaw does have guys hiding here, how the Hell are we supposed to find them? The Survivor: What are you trying to say man? You think I’m one of his psychopaths? The Survivor turns and faces The Liar…but his eyes catch something different on the wall. The Survivor: There’s clues about how we’re going to get out of here…right? What do you think of that clue? Both The Liar and The Survivor turn towards the wall… The Survivor: Sounds like Jigsaw wants us to know something about certain people in this house… The Liar moves towards the bed, and begins to search it…but both his attention and The Survivor’s attention are pulled away from a man in a black robe and pig mask standing right behind them! The Original Apprentice: I’ve got you now… The Original Apprentice moves in, with two syringes in hand…but suddenly, he’s his in the back with a baseball bat! A voice behind him yells… “GET OUT OF HERE!” Both The Survivor and The Liar turn towards the person standing over the masked Original Apprentice, before running out of the room! The person throws the bat away, and walks out of the room as The Original Apprentice stirs… ?: Play that game, motherfucker… He exits the room, and the Original Apprentice stands up, before quickly exiting the room to recuperate after the failed attempt… The Original Apprentice: Goddamit! *NIGHT 2 ENDS WITHOUT A TEST. PLAYER LIST COMING IN JUST A MOMENT*

So I can only assume that someone roleblocked the mafia killer, or something along those lines. Good work to whomever did that (no need to out yourself).
I'll post the number idea that I was talking about in a few moments.

It looks like we get to go back to our argument about James, Knuckles, and numbers again. A townie didn't die thankfully, so the numbers aren't as bad as we thought they would be. Any new info over night 2?

I received some information at the beginning of the game that I wasn't sure would check out because of the nature of the game but after last night, it's confirmed.
I was informed about the number system at the beginning of the game and YES, it's based on alphabetical order by the beginning of our usernames. I tried to do the best that I could to hint about that without blurting out to protect myself. I'm 100% confident that this is true and if we could draw out some information that it would ultimately lead us to one of the scum.
I'm also the town role blocker and have the ability to block a role each night. I was skeptical about LO's story considering he didn't have a number that fit in the alphabetical order but was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and I bought his "13" story initially but just to be sure, I made sure to block him last night.
It's no coincidence that were was no night-kill last night. LO targeted someone and his kill didn't go through because I blocked his role. This is a simple lynch folks. . .if he doesn't come up as scum, I'm willing to put neck out but I'm extremely confident that he's the Original Apprentice.
VOTE LEVEL ONE.

I'm not questioning it...but if you're roleclaiming without half the number of votes, wouldn't that mean you'd be getting modkilled, Rebel? Though the rules don't say that a modkill will happen if you roleclaim without the number of votes required...

The rules don't say anything about a modkill if you out your role but they don't say them either. It's definitely an "all-in" move.

If its to do with the player list at the start of the game, the Nunez is scum.
If you do is alphabetical, what number do you have L-1 at?

I agree that if it's the beginning list, Nunez is scum based on what I figured out.
L1 claims he has #13, though alphabetically, he'd be at #9 I think?

Actually, knuckles, it's not that sudden. It's a pretty appropriate time, considering the day phase just started and he used this for his night action last night. It would be sudden if it was a midday thing.

So, I'm at what... 3 votes already? I'm glad those who have voted decided to take their time and actually digest the information here! [/sarcasm]
First of all; if Johnny Rebel IS the role blocker and role blocked me that is not what stopped last nights kill. The target could have been protected during the night. I don't know what stopped the kill but it was NOT Johnny Rebel.
Since Johnny Rebel role claimed how about we actually WAIT to see if he's modkilled or not? Last time I checked; a roleblocker isn't a investigative role; so if he's telling the truth, he WILL be modkilled.
And if Johnny Rebel isn't mod killed it's because he's lying about his role and if he's lying about his role then it's likely because he's mafia. With the information coming out about Knuckles; and the vote being split half way last day phase; this in my estimation is a diversion for the scum.
My vote is pending on J-Reb for being a 100% confirmed scummer if he's not dead within the next 12 hours, VIA modkill.
Noble should see his roleclaim by then.
And if Johnny Rebel IS modkilled; then I understand if I am the next vote. It makes sense from everyone else's perspective to lynch me even when if I flip town.

It's logic you use all the time yourself, Lester. Him sticking his neck out and his ass on the line is enough. Isn't that exactly what you said about James and the knuckes thing? (And I haven't forgotten about lynching him, either)

(And I haven't forgotten about lynching him, either) It's not hard to stick your neck on the line with false information. What happens when I'm lynched and turn up town? A) Will you lynch Rebel? OR B) Give him a pass because ''he stuck his neck'' on the line? Again, he clearly roleclaimed. The best way to see if his info is legit is wait to see if he's modkilled. Why is this so hard to understand?
