Rumor has it that Action Packed Wrestling newcomer "The Icon" Doctor Phate has had quite the negative reaction to the words of JZ, who debuted on last week's Overdrive in a losing effort to Phate. JZ, in many respects, challenged Phate's manhood, calling him a coward among other things. Phate was reported to have been acting differently ever since the promotional video aired on APW TV, seemingly fighting with himself.
Phate was able to defeat JZ with an old finisher of his, a stunner variation he used to call the "School's Out". Backstage personnel say he was frazzled after the match, wanting to watch the ending of the contest over and over again. It is reported that he left the event in quite a frazzled state, mumbling something along the lines of "not again."
The rumor mill is churning because the last time Phate exhibited such adverse behavior and pulled out the "School's Out" the wrestling world was greeted with his alter-ego, "The Twisted Schoolgirl". This aspect of Phate's personality is always decked out in a catholic schoolgirl outfit and has an insanely violent nature. How violent? While using this persona Doctor Phate gained the distinction of being the only wrestler to ever be banned from wrestling in New Jersey due to competing in the first and only Phatesville Commons Streetfight, a twisted contest where everything within eye's range is covered in barbed wire.
Phate has not been seen in days, flying back to his home in Portland, Oregon and holing up at home. The only known sighting of Phate was at an Oregon Ross Department Store....buying what appeared to be a school uniform.
We will keep you posted as more developments come to light.
