According to reputable sources made available to APW.tk, APW Misfit, "The Career Killer" Trevor Blackwell has undergone treatment by famed Sports Physician Dr. James Youngblood... Dr. Youngblood has diagnosed Trevor Blackwell with three fractured vertebrae as well as two broken ribs and various internal injuries sustained in his Last Man Standing Match against APW World Heavyweight Champion, "The Ego Crusher" Sgt. Kenny Lambardo this past Sunday at APW Mayhem.
Dr. Youngblood has reset Trevor Blackwell's ribs and given him medication to heal the various internal injuries but says he needs to undergo surgery to repair in his badly injured neck.
"Trevor Blackwell has sustained so many various injuries over his career, its ridiculous", said Dr. James Youngblood to APW Reporters. "He has pushed aside many crucial surgeries over the years in favor of wrestling against past doctors' orders. He should not be cleared to continue wrestling, despite his wishes. This latest injury is very serious and needs to be attended to as quickly as possible or Mr. Blackwell risks permanent paralysis."
The Hardcore King could not be reached for comment about whether he plans to continue his in ring career here in Action Packed Wrestling or if he plans to submit to Dr. Youngblood's orders. Dr. Youngblood is best known for his treatment of other Superstars in the past in regards to neck injuries including Steve Austin, Chris Benoit, Lita, Rhyno, Edge, and most recently, Rey Mysterio Jr. What does the future hold for The Excellence of Extreme? Will his ego allow him to step out of the feuds he is currently involved in with Kenny Lambardo, President Jeff, and Matt Metal? Only time will tell...
