Action Packed Wrestling mega star Anthony Bailey visited his hometown of Tampa, FL earlier today to celebrate Valentine's Day with some special young ladies of the Hillsborough Youth Collaborative.
The Hillsborough Youth Collaborative is a program that seeks to empower young people in the hopes of strengthening the lives of children and families through the service and effectiveness of youth and adult partnerships. Bailey, a former member of the HYC himself, arrived with tons of roses, candy, and stuffed animals to give to the young girls.
"I'm aware of all the pressure placed on young women today by the media to look, act, or dress a certain way. Many of these girls grow up in homes without fathers and seek fulfillment in a boyfriend who might end up taking advantage of them. I'm just here to show them that you don't need a boyfriend to have fun on this holiday and I also want to show them that I care for them dearly and that I want to see them satisfied with themselves above the their image or or what the media says that they should value," said Bailey.
Family members and friends of Bailey, as well as members of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, including starting QB Josh Freeman were all in attendance for the festivities. They along with numerous others enjoyed great food and drinks, live entertainment, and wonderful conversation.
At the end of the event, Anthony stuck around to sign autographs and take pictures with all of the young girls.
