If we're going on guts, and all, your vote for me made me more suspicious of you Kaji. I mean, when I went building the case for Bailey last phase I was also building one on you. It was far less convincing - indeed, it was a few random points together. But the timing of your votes had trends in them, and that caught my eye.
And, yeah, you voted for me. I know I'm town, and I know that you're trying to lynch a town now. I feel compelled to stop it.

I'm generally at a loss on where to go from where. I was confident that Bailey was scum and now we're back at square one without an idea on where to go. My role was severely nerfed when Bacon was modkilled way back during the first day phase. I can tell you that our roles were connected and when used together were way more powerful. I did receive an innocent verdict on someone but I'm going to hold off on announcing who until more information comes out. I know there are some powerful roles left in the game... much more so than mine. In terms of suspicion, this is my list: 1. Atken 2. Kaji 3. Farq 4. Sally 5. Jeff Interesting you say that. I haven't brought it up until now because it hasn't been relevant, but my role is much the same. I doubt it is the same super effect, but my role would also have been amplified if Bacon hadn't gotten himself killed. Since I'm at two votes, which is now enough for a roleclaim, I'll elaborate. I'm a cop. I'm reasonably confident I'm sane. If Bacon were still alive and we investigated the same guy on the same night, instead of just learning town or scum, we'd learn their character's name and their full role. The sad thing is that I still don't blame the people who are voting for me (Jeff, now Sally) for doing so, because I've been less instrumental in scum hunting than I should have been. But if you lynch me, you're only digging yourselves further into the hole, and that's a promise. |

I'm still trying to work this one out. I think we have to remember that based on Noble's write-ups my gut is the last member of the mafia (I hope it's the last member certainly) was probably recruited there.
There are so many unknowns and variables but right now, Sally is town to me, no doubt about it (as an aside, sorry Sally, I kinda zoned out on what your role was). Rebel is certainly town to me because last night he wasn't doing any murdering, he was investigating. If I'm reading Sally's insinuations correctly, I was the target last night.
To me, that leaves Farq, Jeff and Kaji.
Now, I've not investigated Jeff since I found out he was a paranoid cop and right now although I'm less certain of him in this situation given all the confusing information.
Kaji, I got to say, I really feel you're the last guy. Mis-representing my power just seems like a scum move to me. It is also the same case against me the rest of the scum team were using against me earlier.
Now, my gut says vote for Kaji but before I do, can someone please remind me what information we used to clear Farq.

Dude, you wouldn't be TOLD you were naive. That defeats the entire purpose.
Me getting town on you and you bringing up the thing with Bacon makes me feel more than ever that you are town...but Atken is right. If you're naive, which we all seem to think you are, you can't really clear anybody, for the same reason Jeff can't clear/pin down anybody. Jeff's gotten nothing but guilty. Paranoid. You got nothing but innocent. Naive. I've gotten some of both, and unless you turn out to be scum, they were all accurate.
To answer Atken, we cleared Farq because he watched Varga douse Bailey and when Bailey chimed in and corroborated, we jumped on Varga like flies on shit, and he flipped arsonist.

You're right to the extent that my role allows me to look at people and what they are doing. But it is totally a town role. I think if you look at my game play throughout it has been consistently pro-town. I have some thoughts on who I think the scum is, but I'm just heading out for the afternoon; I should have some time to post later. |

They look to move, but an officer pops a shot off near Courtney Sheldon. The Task Force freezes, clearly outnumbered. Officer: Put your weapons down! They do, but Leonard Peterson speaks up. Leonard Peterson: I want to speak to whoever’s in charge here! I’m the assistant DA! I can make sure this goes down quietly- Herschel Biggs: Shut it Peterson! We’re not making deals with the men that killed our brothers today! The Officers talk among themselves, before pulling Leonard Peterson to them, keeping the guns on the remaining cops and Courtney Sheldon. Officer: Alright lawyer boy, let’s see what you’ve got… -

If you want suspicion look no further than yourself young man. That's twice now you have conveniently 'cleared' as town two victims the night after they died (Tmarv & Sally). You've claimed cop, which is a pretty safe thing to do considering this is a cop-based game. When we look at the evidence we'll see that Kaji's 'investigations' have been either limited or impotent. He hasn't provided any useful info....oh yeah, apart from clearing as town people after their dead, which the write-up conveniently does.
Look at my game play guys, throughout I have been pro-town, and I've made positive contributions to the lynchings of all threats to the town. Atken, you haven't checked me out because you have had no reason to check me out...I'm town, continue to follow the gut instinct that has served you well in the game so far.
We've all been played a bit here by that last remaining scum, and if you look at his activity it is obviously Kaji.

Incidentally, I wish I had put all of this out, but I was unfortunately caught up last night and then deadline came.
p.s. since I can roleclaim, I am not actually a cop (shock-horror) I am the town tracker, I can see who people visit. I also had a one-shot journalism power that enabled me to snoop on JamesV when he doused Bailey in gasoline.

Your move, J-Reb. You get to pick the lynch. Farq's right about one thing, the last remaining scum is playing us, but he's wrong about who it is. My claim (since I can also claim) remains the same: sane town cop with synergy to Bacon if Bacon were still alive.

I'm having a hard time believing that our roles would be mirrored. I'm betting that you had some kind of power to see my role and as a last ditch effort threw it out there because Bacon couldn't counterclaim. Day 9 Officer: Gun them down…all of them except Biggs. The Chief wants him alive. The officer nods as he faces Courtney Sheldon, Rusty Galloway, Stefan Bekowsky, and Herschel Biggs. They are the remainders of the LAPD Task Force. An officer raises his gun towards Courtney Sheldon…when suddenly, gunfire is heard from outside the building! Sheldon ducks for cover, before looking back! Courtney Sheldon: That’s my unit from the war! Rusty Galloway: Hell son, looks like they pulled through! The officers are quickly overwhelmed by the war veterans, who storm the lobby and take down the corrupt cops! The LAPD Task Force regroups. Herschel Biggs: Peterson has to be dead up there. Serves him right for making a deal with that no-good bastard! Stefan Bekowsky: Now we just have to take the Chief! We can expose him after all that’s happened! Rusty Galloway: We need him alive boys. We still don’t fully know the Suburban Redevelopment Fund was up to. Take him nice and- A single shot rolls through the lobby, and the soldiers begin to shield the Task Force! Up above, William Worrell and another group of corrupt officers have taken cover. Courtney Sheldon: Biggs, how’re we supposed to get up there?...Biggs? William Worrell sees this, and tries to move back his forces, which are quickly being picked off by the sharper shooting soldiers! Rusty Galloway: Keep on them! We need to end this here before he gets out! Suddenly, one of the officers runs in with a tank of gasoline, and throws it all over the lobby! He pulls out a lighter, and tosses it into the crowd! A fire soon starts, and another officer shoots upwards, causing a chandelier to fall onto the soldiers! Courtney Sheldon and Stefan Bekowsky are about to move forward…until Sheldon sees Rusty Galloway pinned under some rubble! Courtney Sheldon: Don’t let him escape! I’ll handle this! Sheldon braves the gunfire and actual fire to move down to Rusty Galloway! He begins to pour some of the rubble off of him… Rusty Galloway: The fire’s too big kid! You have to get out of here! Courtney Sheldon: You don’t run in war! Courtney Sheldon manages to pull enough off of Galloway for him to get free, however… Rusty Galloway: Look out kid! Courtney Sheldon turns just in time to see the lobby roof collapse onto him! Galloway flinches, and sees his mangled body beneath the wood. Rusty Galloway: Sorry kid…but thanks. They push the Chief and his men back into his office, and they close the door behind them, escaping the inferno for at least a few minutes. Damn! Kaji was town. This is not good. Right then, I have one and only one suspect...

He claimed town cop and patently is not because Kaji was. I'm now inclined to believe Kaji's story that he was attached to Bacon. Somehow Rebel got wind of this role in his scum capacity and has exploited it. Add to this he has tried to fly under the radar for the whole game, he hasn't contributed much to getting ride of the scum, and he even cleared L-1 when he was scum.
Do the right thing Jeff and vote this guy out, then we can celebrate a hard fought, if somewhat Pyrrhic, victory.
