Well, Cena is ripping the Rock a new asshole every time he has the mic, and Rocky doesn't know how to respond. I'm fucking loving the rivalry, and I'm Team Cena all the way. Always been a mahoosive Rock fan, but Cena is on fire, and I've never seen Rocky struggle before. Good times, good times indeed

Cena had about 8 mins max mic time on the last Raw, and Rock had about 15+. Cena knew all his promo off by heart, and Rocky read over two thirds of his off a piece of paper and the titan tron. I hope Cena batters him senseless to be honest. Always been a massive Rock fan, but he bugs the shite out me now. As for Cena fans being geeky 42 year old virgins, well, I'm a geek, but you've all seen my girlfriend, so fuck you Rocky lol

Oh, I'd say it was closer to 5 and 25.
Also, I know it won't happen because it's supposedly the main event of that sign everyone's always pointing at...but if ever a squash was warranted in the main event of Wrestlemania, it would be this one. Cena needs to go out to the ring on April 21st and fucking destroy Dwayne Johnson. Fucking destroy him. Rock goes for Rock Bottom, Chokeslam reverse out of it into an arm takedown or something, grab his ankle, STFU, Rock taps like a bitch, hold the STFU for twenty minutes kind of destruction.
I GUESS the Rock can do a couple arm drags before that, since he proved he can still do that at Survivor Series. But nothing else.
Barring that, I guess Cena popping up at the People's Elbow and using Rock's momentum to hit an FU and do the STFU is good enough.
The point is this.
Cena.
Destroy.
Rock.
Rock.
Destroyed.
Kaji.
Happy.

I am one the biggest Cena "haters" out there. I hate everything about his persona, his character, his gimmick, his fruity pebble t-shirts, his stupid camo jorts, and so forth...
BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT
Cena has owned Dwayne Johnson for weeks now. Notice I said Dwayne Johnson and not The Rock. Reason being The Rock would never in a million years let a guy like Cena get over on him like that and yes there's a difference between Dwayne and the Rock, the big difference is passion & money. The Rock loved wrestling. It was in his blood. It was what he loved to do, but when he went to Hollywood. He changed and he became Dwayne Johnson. Dwayne has no passion for the business. He is simply there for a pay cut. Dwayne doesn't care about who wins and who loses. He doesn't care about Cena or the boys in the back. He doesn't care about the fans. It's simply all about Dwayne, and that's why this feud is sucking imo. It's Cena vs Dwayne.
The Rock would have never used the jumbo tron or lyrical note sheets for "The Rock Concert." The Rock would have never wrote stuff on his wrists to remember the direction of his promos. The Rock wouldn't let Cena get over on him like that. It saddens me to see that The Rock isn't there and we instead get Dwayne Johnson, but here's to hoping. At Mania, The Rock will be there and he'll win, but if not. Cena wins, whatever. Just get Dwayne Johnson off my TV set and bring back THE ROCK!

WM is the only wrestling event I still will tune into watch; so I have zero info about this feud... but as a fan of the attitude era, I hope The Rock smacks Cena's candy ass ring post to ring post!
Here's hoping I don't waste four hours on bullshit.

Rock will never let Cena or anyone beat him right now at Mania. He's trying to put some more juice into his fame with this match and it was signed a year or more ago? I'd bet money it was in the contract, Rock wins a "Close" but poorly wrestled match. Rock didn't do shit to prevent injury, either he is still wanting to be protected or he's going to put on a show. Still, Rock wins and Cena is humble enough to get it over with for the success of HIS business.

That's a good point. I was wondering who was probably going to take the win... but you never really know.
It would be wise for the WWE to put Cena over The Rock... but I think they were so desperate for ratings (don't know if the rock increased them or not) that they have agreed to put The Rock over Cena.

Cena over Rock.
Dwayne may have a giant ego but he's understands the wrestling business. He knows he has to pass the torch in exactly the same way Hogan passed it onto him at WMX8.
Re: the actual feud. I'm just not that into it, and it lost a lot of momentum this week. There is a lot of talk among the IWC about worked vs. shoot, but tbh I think even the 'worked vs shoot' angle is worked.

The reason they took the WWE title out of the equation, is because if it were there, people would know who is going to win already. Rock has movies to do, Cena is a "sports entertainer". Cena is going over, mark my words. This is Hogan/Rock WM18, with Rock playing the role of Hogan.
As far as the last few weeks go, Cena has been taking it to the Rock every time they cut promos. The Rock Concert however, was more entertaining than the rap by Cena. Rock took this past Monday, however it was nice to see the Dr. of Thuganomics back. I just don't think he was ready to play the part. It's been a long, long time since the Slang-Cena, but it was refreshing nonetheless.

Farquhar passing the torch kind of happened for The Rock. He jobbed to Lesnar and then in his FINAL Match in WWE before he left him and Foley lost to Orton/Bastista/Flair in a 2 on 3 match at WrestleMania XX.
So he passed the torch in a sense and this isn't about passing a torch. WWE wants to make Money. The Rock has already said he will probably be at Next Year's Mania as well so losing makes no sense for The Rock. It hurts his Hollywood buzz and he has been about him, he doesn't care about Wrestling. He's using it as a way to increase his movie sales and popularity so his movies sell again. Rock wins, anyone wanna make some wagers?

Kash, we're going to have to agree to disagree. I wouldn't say losing in a tag team handicap containing Ric Flair is passing the torch. Lesnar would have been as big as if not bigger than Cena if he had stuck around, but he didn't.
The fact is Cena is going to be THE GUY for the next years still. I see this as all about passing the torch. WWE needs Cena to remain over for his merch, if he loses at Mania there may be no going back for him.
I'll take your wager though. I'm saying Cena over Rock and the two shakes hands afterwards.

Okay and I say Rock over Cena, fuck what they do after. What you want if you win this bet? If I win I you have to put "Kash Knows Wrestling" in your Signature for a week. What you want?

I am a huge fan of Miz, so I am all for what gets him back in the main event but I doubt the match would be any good if the two ended up going at it. Neither one are that great in the ring, but I believe Miz could work circles around Dwayne on the mic, especially if he keeps bringing the same ol' 2001 crap like he has been with Cena.

But the Rock Concert was awful. Horrible. Atrocious. I cannot post enough words to encompass the enormous badness of the Rock Concert. And this is completely neglecting the controversy of covering Queen to call Cena gay.

The Rock Concert wasn't THAT bad. The ending of it with the We Will Rock You was horriable, I'll give you that, but the other stuff, I thought was entertaining and Fun to watch and I thought some of the stuff he said was pretty funny. I missed the first half of the Cena rap due to my PVR being shitty, so I can't really comment on it, besides the fact that it was a smart move to have Cena come out in his Thug Life gimmick.
For me, The Rock gets the crowd involved in his promo's and he makes them fun, and I look forward to his promo's.
Cena will probably get the best of the Rock up until the Raw go home show where I can see Rock and Cena battle it out with Rock laying Cena out with a Rock Bottom
But eitherway, Cena still going over at Mania

I'm with Kaji on the Rock concert, I thought it was cringe-worthy. I would have thought that Rock might have learnt more than just the chords to Heartbreak Hotel by now though. I guess it was supposed to be a reference to The Smackdown Hotel, but having the same song, with just a few words changed, played over and over again was tedious.
But I've found everything Rock has done since Survivor Series tedious. It's the same childish jokes told in the same childish way; never been a fan of Rock's cocky jock persona anyway. I'm no Cena fanboy though, even if I'd rather him go over.
It's the right thing to do.

I have NEVER been a fan of either of them, well I was a fan of the Rock when he was a heel back in '03 around Wrestlemania 19, but that's it. I think they are both corny and am tired of all the lame jokes and catchphrases.
I am quite disappointed with the direction this feud has taken. Cena is being ultra serious, which after so many years of happy go lucky Cena, just doesn't quite fit. Rock is being to comedic, which downplays the seriousness Cena has been using. It's just not meshing for me.
The Cena rap had good intensity, but just didn't fit who he is now. He seemed more like a poser than ever before. The Rock concert started off decent, but dragged on too long and the We Will Rock You was a disaster.
I really don't care about this match. I don't care who wins, and I am eager for it to end.

Not sure where you get your "Rumors/News" from Havok but WWE is DOWN on The Miz right now. I HIGHLY Doubt they'd let him into the Cena/Rock match to interfere and get involved.
And Jeff..Just because YOU ROCK AS A BOOKER!! Doesn't mean WWE has awesome ones all the time.

Sadly, the officials are down on The Miz. Some of it is his fault, and some of it isn't his fault. But how I feel about that is another story for a different time. However, I also heard there was some type of rumor going around about The Miz inserting himself in that main event somehow at the end of the show. But as rumors, they are just that until we see what happens on April 1st [or in Taker's mind April 21st /troll]

Miz is one of those guys I have never known what all the fuss is about. I know people make a big deal about his 'mic skills', they are okay in the sense that he is competent with a mic in his hand, doesn't look uncomfortable, and doesn't botch his lines. That said I can't remember the last time I saw Miz cut a promo that made me think 'I can see why this guy was given a Michael Cole main event push'. To me going around telling everyone 'I'm Awesome' doesn't make you so and doesn't make you main event material.
On top of that he probably has the weakest offence I've seen from a main eventer since the 80s. He doesn't have a standout signature move, and his finishers...well he has that full nelson face plant with a name so horrible I won't even mention it. It doesn't exactly get you out of your seat or reaching to buy that PPV. I honestly can't remember the last time Miz had a match that I really thought was a great match. He had an okay one with R-Truth just before the rumble, but it was just an okay TV match.
I think it may be time for Miz to turn face and see if he can make a fresh impact with that because the cocky celebrity wrestler machismo gimmick isn't working for him these days, fans don't really react to him anymore except for some habitual and tired-sounding booing.
With guys like Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes coming through I can't see Miz getting himself back among the main events in a long while. I'd much rather see Kofi Kingston given an underdog push before I'd want to see Miz given another boring heel push.
