"For many people in this world their fortune resides in luck. Their hope evolves from chance. Soon we will meet a man known for his realism; soon we will meet a man who needs no luck. We will see a man whose opponents have no chance."
-We are met by a bright light, almost as if we're looking down a tunnel. We hear "change" being whispered off from the distance. The screen begins to spiral out of control. When we focus we're met with the back of a man of medium stature. He is sitting in a chair that's in front of a large-framed window, and out the window lies the remnants of a field.-
Man: The world is a strange thing, really. You have these self-professed geniuses that trust everything they hear or say. You have people that would eat their own feces if you told them it was made of cheese. You have people that desire to become great, who only become yesterdays news. It takes a special person to be remembered for what they're accomplished, for what they've done. Soon the roster of APW will be scolding their mothers on the danger of conception. Soon they will question their own mental mortality. Soon retribution for their ignorance will spread across the squared circle. Soon my contract will be signed with the blood of idiots. I will leave a reminder of greatness with every move I do, as I beat the worst to prepare for what the APW considers "the best". Quote, unquote. Soon, this man... John Canyon.. this man whose face you still haven't seen.(pause) If you can't look at the sun.. how can you handle the vision of the consequence of being bred by greatness? I will bring pain and suffering. This is the code of being the epitome of hope for the masses.
-The camera pans over his shoulder and out to the field. We hear a knock on the window, and a menacing laugh. Suddenly we hear a crash that shakes the camera.-
John Canyon: Life is mine. I am your personal beacon of hope.
-We pan back to see a broken oak mirror. Within a fragment of the glass lies the reflection of the APW logo with "Change" written in thick marker across it. And with that our adventure only begins.-
