A huge thanks to all who participated. I've truly forgotten what kind of beast these things are to put together and got overwhelmed at the end. A huge thank-you to all the match writers, those who role-played, the seg writers, and a HUGE shoutout to Biggs for his hard work in helping me finish everything. He stepped in to do a lot of the little things that helped get this thing out. As always - congrats to all the winners. Feel free to post your feedback below. I know not everything was as smooth as it should be but considering we haven't done this in over a year, it was nice to get broken back in. You can read the results here: apwprez.proboards.com/thread/19292/reunion-show-charlotte-north-carolina. Stay tuned for a huge announcement concerning APW tomorrow evening! Thanks again. - J-Reb

Will leave more detailed feedback in the morning, but after a quick read through, it made me realize why I loved this place so much for so long. Segments were great, some funny, some serious, but all accomplished what they were meant to more or less.
All of the matches were well written and Biggs, you are a motherfucking beast.
Sorry if I didn't do the Tag Team Guys Justice, I really tried, but the magnitude of the match just got away from me. So no ill intent meant there.
Really loved match writing and getting back into things. It was fun.
Thanks Rebel and Biggs for throwing this all together.

Not a split up.... Was supposed to be later on in the night where Terry visited Speede's locker room. Was just a quickie.

The show was amazing. It was like a time warp, going back to the good old days (if they ever existed?) where APW was firing on all cylinders. The show as a whole was great. Loved the little segments that reminded us all of those characters we all knew so well. And those old faces who made their special guest appearance - it was a nice dose of nostalgia.
I'll give feedback on a match by match basis over the weekend, but I just wanted to get in an early thanks to the organisers and all the match writers, and especially Rebel who did the hard work. Thanks heaps people!
Oh, and Young Mannie: Never change young man.

Loved the show, loved being a part of something APW-related again. Huge thanks to Rebel for putting everything together when he obviously didn't have to; this was a really cool event. Gates/Mania, hope you guys enjoyed your match; I haven't written one in a very long time, but I was pretty happy with how it came out.
The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the Smith-Delikado match being thrown together. Obviously, one couldn't have predicted no-shows, but it sort of stinks that Delikado, who actually DID produce something, had to take a loss when, in my book, he shouldn't have had to. Other than that, the show was a really nice throwback to the good old days that SalTal mentioned.

I can certainly see that A.C.
I had to weigh the prospect of writing two matches where more than 50% of people didn't show or put something together more exciting with two people who obviously cared enough to put some effort in. If the Reunion Show counted for anything in the grand scheme of things, I probably wouldn't have made the adjustment but since it was all in fun, it was an easier decision.
Hope that helps a tiny bit!

APW Reunion Show Feedback -Loved the cold open with Bryan Payne talking about what made APW special to him. Even though he wasn’t with APW for very long, he was very successful here, so it was great to see him in some capacity. -I wrote the opening match, Terry Marvin vs. Roy Speede so I won’t give feedback on it, but I will give a bit of commentary. I actually started writing it with TMarv in a heel role, because the match was written before either one had RPed. I was just so used to TMarv being a heel. But then I went back and read his RassleMania X match and realized my mistake! Thankfully, I wasn’t too far in, and only had to make some minor changes to make him a face! Also, Roy Speede is a very fun character to write for. His moves make sense for a guy his size, which isn’t always the case in the game. -Great promo from The Dying Breed, and especially great to see William D. Williams. I always had a soft spot for “The Smooth One” on Asylum, so it was great to see him here. Also liked the way they introduced Daniela. They did it naturally, and didn’t spend too much time on it. The meat of the promo dedicating their match to a deceased friend was a very babyface thing to do, and all around, rock-solid promo. - Chris Maverick vs. London Carter is one of those matches that is frustrating to judge, because Maverick no showed, and Carter went over twice the word limit. The match itself was well written, with good back and forth action, and logical match progression, but the behind the scenes issues honestly prevented me from being invested in the match at hand. Still, Shadow, excellent work on the match itself. Would definitely look forward to reading more of your matches in the future! -The nod after the opening match was written without knowledge of any storyline plans of Terry and Speede, hence the slight disjointedness. It gets chalked up to me writing the match before anything else had been turned in. -The Black Hand promo by Knox and Madison was exactly what it needed to be. Caught us up on what they’ve been up to, explains the disconnect between them and Jennings. My only complaint is that TJ and Saint felt like after thoughts. (Also, would have been nice to see promos from TJ and Saint as well. ) - Robina Hood vs. Michael Jennings is another match hurt by a no-show, but I got to give it to the Gooch for writing a fun little violent match despite the heel vs. heel dynamic. It was a good choice to go that route to give the crowd something, anything to bite on and latch onto during the match. Smart writing. -Short little promo from A.C. Smith. Quickly established what he’s been up to and who he’s allied with now. Very efficient promo. Only thing I would have changed would have been the placement on the show. I would have put it in the post right before A.C.’s match. -I have one major bone to pick with the Three-Way Dance of Isamu Suzuki vs. Lord Raab vs. Shadow, and that’s that Isamu Suzuki didn’t get any offense in. Yes, his RP was short and thrown together, but it’s discouraging when two no-shows get more in than he does. However, everything after that was a very different big man vs. big man match. Instead of throwing bombs at each other the entire match, the focus on submission wrestling early one was a nice touch, and a good change of pace from the prior match. The finish did seem to come rather abruptly, and I do wish there was more post match. Mr. Dangerous’ involvement, I felt, actually took away from the match. I may be in the minority here, though. -My segment with Biggs and the Stud Muffins was mainly to catch everyone up on what the Studs have been doing. I think my execution is a little clunky in places. -The Loser gets Slopped match between Buckson Gooch and Young Mannie was a ton of fun. The Gooch has always been one of those characters that is really fun to read, and Young Mannie was the perfect foil for him as the cocky, arrogant jerk who thought he was above Gooch. TMarv, you did a great job of writing the characters into the match. As for Mannie’s OOC outburst, I’m sorry that you feel that way, bud. -All I have to say about C.J. Gates vs. Mark Mania is OH MY GOSH! The C.J. Gates heel turn was something I would have never expected, something I would have never seen coming! Originally, in the end of show dance sequence, Gates was written to have given Biggs a hug, but that was cut once we saw this finish! And A.C., consider yourself more than forgiven for you computer snafus at RassleMania X, this was an excellently written match! Mark and Ceej, I also have to compliment you two for a great RP battle. One of the closest ones of the night. I had to read and re-read your RPs several times back to back before turning my vote in. -I also wrote A.C. Smith vs. Delikado, so I won’t give too much feedback on it, though I will give J-Reb some advice. There were two explinations for the change of the match, one you wrote, and one that I had already written in. A quick skim of the commentary would have prevented this. I didn’t catch this until my read through this morning while writing this feedback. As for the match itself, once Envi no-showed, we figured both matches he was going to write weren’t going to be turned in. Rather than throw up two squashes, we figured it would be better to reward Deli and A.C. with an actual competitive match for their efforts. Considering how late in the process this match came about, it was a lot shorter than I would have liked to have written it, but I tried to make up for the lack of length by making it balls-to-the-wall violent. A.C., I see where you're coming from, but I respectfully disagree that it was a bad call. I think it helped the show to have one competitive match instead of two squashes, and I think I made the match violent enough and hard hitting enough to where both of you got put over by it. It would have been easy to write A.C. vs. Streets as a squash, but a Triple Threat TLC, not so much. Bottom line is that Evan Envi put us in the spot, and we made the call that we thought would help the show the most. -Who the heck is Devin Richards? While it was a competent promo, I don’t think it should have been on the show. There has been no announcement as to whether APW is re-opening or not, so something like this feels unnecessary to the show. Not a knock against Devin at all, it just didn’t fit the show. - The Black Hand vs. The Dying Breed vs. TJ and Keaton Saint was utter chaos. I can understand how TMarv feels this one got out of hand. 6 legal men in the ring at the same time is hard to juggle, and even though there was a three way dance earlier in the show, it might have helped the flow of this match if it wasn’t Tornado Tag, and if it was just two men in the ring at a time. Still, the match was put together about as well as can be expected with the gimmick, even though it didn’t feel like anyone got to stand out in the match. Again, this is entirely due to the gimmick. -A good ol’ Donkey Punch commercial. The graphic is still weird. -Glad that Cashe got a promo in. Not his usual sophomoric humor, but considering the stakes of the match, it was appropriate. -Kicking myself and J-Reb that we didn’t work a Donkey Punch into Johnny Knuckles vs. Jason Kashe Hell-in-a-Cell. As a co-main event, I hope this delivered! - Sally vs. Biggs was co-written by Sally and myself, so again, I’m going to do more commentary rather than feedback. When the rumors of an APW Reunion show were starting to circulate, I knew that it was going to be my last match. My life has changed so much since APW closed it’s doors that I just don’t have the time to devote to e-fedding like I used to. There was only one person that I wanted to wrestle, and that was Sally Talfourd! (Sorry Cashe and Bailey, I only tagged you on that tweet incase she said no!) Through out both of our times in APW, our characters have always had an interesting dynamic, in the fact that no matter whether one was a heel and the other was a face, or whatever alignment, they were always friends. Even though we never had a feud proper, our characters were very much intertwined, and it was a really fun story telling tool to have, to be able to go back to time and time again. It also didn’t hurt that Sally is one of the coolest people OOC, and has always been kind to me. (Our mutual OOC love of The Office certainly didn’t hurt either!) I do know that I may have been more than a little self-indulgent with the Main Event, but as the match progressed, I just kept getting more and more ideas! Also, APW has a history of incredibly lengthy Main Events, so I didn’t feel too bad about it! Regardless, Sally, I want to thank you for allowing me to go out on such a high note. I knew I probably killed my chances of winning the match by suggesting no word limit on our RPs, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I also wanted to let you know how much I appreciated your RP. Still, enough with the sappy stuff. This is supposed to be a feedback thread! -Overall, I would say that the show was a rousing success! It was a fun bit of nostalgia. Although I will not miss all the work that goes into making a card this big happen!

Full feedback.... Opening segment was great, really got me pumped for the show. I can't say enough about my match. Biggs wrote the thing perfectly. And the nod at the end was a great touch. Nice classic dying breed segment. Hyped the match... did good things. Mav vs carter was a good match....way more than a no show deserved. Good read. Ya my seg feels a little out of place... just wanted tmarv to show some respect, perhaps I could done it better. Strong black hand segment. Hyped the match and tied back into stories with jemnings. Fun seg. Decent match in Jennings vs hood. Weird ending though...idk why or how to put my finger on it...maybe it's just me. But still good match. 3 way dance was ok but I agree with biggs... woulda liked to see isamu get some offense in. Biggs segment was funny. Loved it so much. Biggs and Sally sitting in a tree....lol Loved writing Gooch vs manny... hope at least one of u enjoyed. Gates vs Mania was phenominal. Great job ac. I don't mind the ac and deli match being thrown in. It was a great match and it showcased to people who gave a damn to RP quite well. Bravo. The Richards promo was outta place. I hindsight shoulda been held off l. But with the rumors of apw coming back Its understandable Again... tornado tag so hard to write. Hope I did okay. Yes! Donkey punch. I will deny this till the day I die (j/k cashe) but I've missed jc segments. This one was excellent. And that hell in a cell match..... *tear* bravo. Good to see jk climb outta obscurity Main event was a beast.... just a beast. Great job biggs. Love seeing Sally back in action... I missed for too long.

THIS E-FED CAN: Suck My Dick...Sucka Neighborhood!!!Yeah and these comments rubbed me the wrong way completely. Personally, Mannie needs to show some respect to the fedheads here. I mean sure look at me, I lost a match at the show, but I'm not getting in a fuss about it cos I know the 2000 word max was just too short for what I wanted to do with my RP, nor was it that good either. Usually, it would detail a lot of stuff with an actual promo, but it was impossible with the max cap limit, but it's not my decision. I actually see too much storytelling with Mannie's stuff rather than talking about his opponents and talking about you're opponents, especially in wrestling is the most important part of this game. If he combined both in his stuff in 4CW, he'd go father than he thinks. Yeah these comments were so disgusting quite honestly and I know my comments right now may have gone out of line, but I was being honest as to what Mannie could improve on. Yeah you did a solid job Johnny Rebel, don't let this goon ball get you down. Hell, I'm so over the moon that I lost because I win way too often now and I'm bored and sick to death of me winning matches.

Hats off to you, AC, definitely did a great job with the Gates/Mania match. Definitely captured what both men were like in their time in APW. Was great to read and great to follow. I thought I'd lost a few times, so kudos for building that suspense!
Also, thanks to Mark Mania for the match. I think we had a few one offs here and there throughout our time, but not really anything of length, so it was nice to get a match with someone whos work I've always enjoyed at a show like this.
Hopefully people at least somewhat enjoyed the post match stuff. I know nothing was made official about APW re-opening, but I always said that if I was going to go back to e-fedding, it would be to do the one thing I never got to do with Gates, and that was the heel turn. If the APW re-opens, I've got a nice little start to something. If it doesn't, well, at least I made things fun on the way out!

Show was Bonkers! Wasn't sure the Tag Match would get beat and then the TLC was stellar! Then came the HIAC which my ONLY complaint if ANY is that Knuckles used a Benoit move to finish off Cashe. The setup was fantastic, the back and forth owned. I too was looking for ONE more Donkey Punch, one more HEEEEEHAAAAAWWWW!!! However it can be said without that then maybe he wouldn't have won? Needed to surprise Cashe to beat Cashe? I can live with believing that. Haha! Probably the best loss I've ever had, much love and respect to you Knuckle Fucker. YOU MY BOY FOO!!
Main Event was one of those times and it's really rare in efeds honestly where you get into the flow and every big spot you think "That's it" 1...2...Kickout! WTF!?! You feel those moments and often times it's fabricated because someone over hypes their own writing or doesn't paint the picture right but this was a beautiful example of not just an APW Main Event but an example of APW period. These two. Love and the hate I've had with Sally has NEVER changed my thought that she was as big, if not a bigger piece of this place as anyone else and Biggs? Pssh I love that dude like he's blood related. He knows that. All Day I'm a Biggs fan.

Everyone seems to be waiting on a big announcement so I guess I have to deliver. I'm not going to go into the minutiae of the results since it has been and will be covered in better detail by other people. What I can say is that the reunion provided evidence for both the good and bad parts of my personal experience with APW. The Good: Results had similar flow, tone and language to the better events that I can recall. From the RPs that I read, the character work is still there. The Bad: I found it exceptionally difficult to write a Saint piece. Time away from the game only made it harder. On the assumption that APW does come back, I'm probably the only person who will unequivocally say that I won't be returning. Keaton Saint was done in 2013 and I wouldn't dare bring him back elsewhere. As far as the character is concerned, it's APW property now. With regards to myself, I did a few things, went to a few places and I'm now working in adult education so there was some form of progress made. I did take note of the summoning ritual on TJ's podcast and at the very least I'll try to be some form of presence on the twitter machine. Feel free to drop a message on there since I think I've got a Skype account on my phone as well. I might just cheat and debut as someone else though

While we wait ...
- Opening with a message from Bryan Payne was awesome. I liked the conciseness of it. Bryan probably won't remember, but my first match (which was also my first win) in APW was tagging with him. I hope that if APW gets off the ground again, we have these 'stop ins' from other big names from APW in much the same vein as this in the future.
- The banner is awesome. Great job, bannerman!
- Great run of action in the Speede/Marvin match. Written good, tying everything together. A lot of fast action, it seemed, with all the near-falls. Nice exchange between the two at the end as well.
- Loved seeing the Dying Breed appear together once more, hyping their match and selling the night really well. Teasing a return with the potential return of APW is unfair - what if it doesn't happen!!? Chocolate wasted - haven't heard that in forever!
- Maverick and Carter match was well written as well. I liked the development of this match. A lot of wrestling action, into a series of near-falls, and then into the final run of action. Simple formula that works well.
- Little segment snuck in between Marvin and Speede. Hinting at something, I hope?
- Knox and Madison segment was sound. A bit of history in there for the uninitiated, which helped clear up some stuff that came up in the promos. I liked the ending of this the most, where it was selling the team's chances and why they are good.
- Jennings and Hood was a nice, tight match. Seemed like a match where Hood was up against it from the beginning. Some good consideration to the differences between the wrestlers as well made for a believable match. Well done.
- Teasing the AC Smith appearance. I can't say I know what's happening over at SCW, so the impact of the segment might have been lost on me. I was more hyped for AC!
- The triple-threat match to follow, which had Mr Dangerous in it? I was glad to see Mr Dangerous on the show. It wouldn't be APW without him, right? Match clearly was between Shadow and Raab. Well written, again, for what was needed. Felt more like it was a physical match, more than a suspense-builder (which had been done for the past few matches, so it was a good change).
- Ahhh, Stud Muffins. My favourite tag team in APW. Plus, anything with Biggs gets my attention - always been a favourite character of mine. I felt that the segment built up his side of our match quite well.
- Mannie and Gooch. The match was really good. I thought it was really interesting to see how the writer handled the two different styles of the characters in there. Nannie looked like he threw everything at Gooch, and Gooch came out of it the winner. All is right with the world. Liked the ending - it was the first real bit of humour through the night!
- CJ and Mania. Two of my favourites in APW. I have to say I enjoyed reading their promos. I don't know how they felt about them, but I thought that they really 'summed up' the feel of this show, but both in very different ways. CJ the more 'personal' side and Mania the more 'show' side (if that makes sense). Anyway, great promos deserve a great match, and it delivered. Really good flow throughout it. But ... DAT ENDING!!! I did not expect that, at all. First big surprise of the night!!!
- Delikado and AC Smith. Big match here, in my opinion, given the fact they seemed to hold up the rest of OverDrive after the main event. Really well written, this match. Built up well to the final phase of action. Loved the moment where Delikado "strong arms" the ref into helping. Thought that was a funny touch. Hat tip to one of my favourite matches of the night.
- Teaser from Devin Richards. I imagine that, should APW reopen, we will see a lot of these types of promos in the future. I'll be keeping and eye out for Devin in the future. And now that we have ne Hurricane Jeff, I guess the hurricane title has found a new home?
- HUGE match to follow. The kind of match that would have headlined an APW ppv 'back in the day'. So much talent in there! TJ and Saint resurrecting the Pillars of sorts (yeah, I remember that!) means that all three were legit tag teams. I have to commend the match writer for really managing to give everyone a fair showing here. The match was long, but I appreciated it. Big win for the Dying Breed. In a bygone era, this would be the start to a phenomenal storyline for a number of ppvs, I reckon. Well done to everyone involved in the match.
- lol Donkey Punch. That picture.
- Segment to follow from ... Kash? Solid promo. Sold the match really well, and kept me interested through it.
- Great banner for this match. Big match with, what I thought, was a big upset (IC speaking). A lot of action that was well deserved of both characters - two of the 'hard workers' for Asylum that got (possibly) their last showing for APW. I was worried that the match would be a little bit of a let-down compared to the Kash/Knuckles showdowns of the past when they were red-hot. But, no, the match was really good at building up some greatness.
- Biggs and mine match. We co-wrote that over a few days, but Biggs is the one who deserves all the credit. After a Skype session, and planning out some of the details, it was all his genius that made it great. The great GM lives on! Personally, I really appreciated just the match. But more, I'm so honoured to have been in your last match, Biggs. I know that we had spoken about that before, but re-reading the results ... it sank in and made me a little sad.
Overall, it's a great sight to see when - even after a year - we can all come back together and work on something this good. No one seems to have lost a step in all this, whether they've been in or out of this game since the close. Well done to all the match writers and segment senders.
Of course, thanks to Rebel for masterminding this whole thing. We all owe you!
