Standout Face: Sally Talfourd and Arkia Fisk. Standout Heel: Buckson Gooch and CJ Gates share it. Standout Match: The main event, definitely, with Sally vs. Crenshaw as a close second. Both told powerful stories, both set up future storylines--the main event especially. Fisk's vengeance is gonna be swiiiiiiift. Most Enjoyed Segment: The opening segment was rather strong, I thought. Least Enjoyed Segment: I... didn't really have one. Everyone put out really good work. Shock or WOW Factor: The alliance of CJ and Buckson makes sense, but seeing it come together was a surprise. Overall Opinion: Good show. I know there were more than a few no-shows, but things will smooth out as they go along. I also think more people should do segments--myself included, eheh. Also, I cackled like a madwoman during my match. Biggs, buddy ol' pal... you captured Rachel's intent and attitude going into this match perfectly. Thumbs up! ♥

Standout Face: Arkia Fisk (results), Mark Mania (promo)
Standout Heel: Buckson Gooch (results), CJ Gates (promo)
Standout Match: Main event - Arkia FIsk vs CJ Gates
Most Enjoyed Segment: Opening segment set a great standard going forward, hyped for SUGOI Suga, and I wanted to shout-out Terry Marvin's continued scouting -- first Roy, now Jac!
Least Enjoyed Segment: Every segment did its job! I didn't not enjoy any of them!
Shock or WOW Factor: I have to confess that I didn't see Gooch had changed his alignment to heel so him beating up Mania and then Arkia ... out of no where for me haha! I was also wowed by the prospect that there's going to be an extended Mania/Gate feud! Oh the possibilities!!! Also, I am so happy to see so many new APW people figuring into the fold!
Overall Opinion: Congratulations guys! Everyone who put something together for the show (segments, matches, a helping hand) you have made a bunch of people very happy! And also to all you writers of rap's; I read every single one and there wasn't anything to be too disappointed in. It will take us all a bit to get back into the swing of things - balancing deadlines with real life and all that - but don't fret or be disappointed! Just doing something is doing plenty at this stage. I think this was a great show that sets the tone for the new phase of APW. Congrats to Rebel and Biggs for getting all this together! Let's move onwards and upwards everyone!

Standout Face:Certainly Arkia Fisk. Standout Heel: That bastard Buckson Gooch Standout Match: Fisk/Gates was great, Sally/Crusher was real good as well Most Enjoyed Segment: I was just so happy to see Terry Marvin for a second. Otherwise, Gates did a great job writing the majority of that opening segment. Least Enjoyed Segment: The one where I got beat up Shock or WOW Factor: Unfortunately, I knew about the Gooch/Gates team up, so that would've been it. Overall Opinion: That was a really great show for a first one. Too bad TJ didn't show up, it would've been great to go against him at his best. I real excited about what else is coming up.
Not to be a pain, but I will say on my match, I didn't really understand the direction that the writer went. The "Mania is even putting me to sleep" didn't make sense in the context of the match. I understand the David/Goliath reference in terms of height alone, but to follow it up with "beginners luck" didn't make much sense. In terms of APW kayfabe Mania was around far longer than TJ has been around. EDIT: Sorry, more complaining. Also, seems foolish for me to have a "sadistic smile" on my face. I'm supposed to be the good guy!
Also, and obviously Rebel you were rushing to put things together, I would've placed Gooch attacking me after my match. Because it seems difficult to understand why I wouldn't have tried to help Fisk after I had just had a successful match. I'd recommend people reading it just imagine it happens after.
Sorry to be a downer with negative comments, because it really was an excellent show and I'm really excited about the future of APW.

Standout Face: Talfourd and Fisk Standout Heel: Gooch, although there are a few others that stood out as well. Gooch just happened to have the biggest impact. Standout Match: Fisk/Gates. What, I shouldn't choose my own match? Okay, Talfourd/Crusher Most Enjoyed Segment: SUGOI Suga Least Enjoyed Segment: The ones that people didn't send
Shock or WOW Factor: The Gooch/Gates team up. Not because I didn't know about it, but because I wasn't sure if it was starting this week. I guess my WOW factor was due to not being sure when things were going down due to being away most of the weekend lol
Overall Opinion: For the first show back, it was a good show. I will touch on what I believe was said above about segments, and say that if people are looking to further their characters, best way to do it is to do some segments. Some people (*cough*me*cough*) might not read all the RPs, so a segment helps us see who your character is and get an idea for its direction.
Overall all though, good show to everyone. Looking forward to what might be in store going forward.

Standout Face: I'm not sure if this is based off of RPs or the show itself, so I'm going to give 2 answers. For the show itself, Sally Talfourd's bit about legacy really did it for me. In terms of RPs, I know calling "The Atomic Redhead" Rachel Ellsworth a face might be stretching things a bit, but I already love the character to death. Standout Heel: Everyone is saying Buckson and Ceej, but I'm really interested in seeing more from Crusher Crenshaw. His segmetn was unique and different. Standout Match: My favorite match of the night was actually Roy Speede vs. Magnus Colby. Liked the clash of styles, and love the concept of Colby's character. Most Enjoyed Segment: Crusher Crenshaw's backstage promo was a good bit of character work that really stood out to me. Least Enjoyed Segment: I'll be honest, CJ's opening promo fell a little flat for me. I know it's hard switching from heel to face, but it felt very by the numbers to me. I know once CJ gets the ball rolling, it's going to pick up, but this first promo had some growing pains. Shock or WOW Factor: What I can tell you I'm not shocked by was Raven Starr's no-show. For the show itself, it saddened me that the Gooch turned heel. Overall Opinion: I know personally that I'm still adjusting to the word limits for matches, especially considering it doesn't include entrances and commentary in those word counts. I'm not expecting or hoping anyone turns in War & Peace for bi-weekly shows, but I feel like match of the week is usually going to go to the Main Event, just because it allows for more words. I found myself cutting some flavor from the match I wrote just to make sure it was within the wordcount. I don't want folks writing pages and pages and pages, but I also don't want the matches to start feeling cookie cutter. As for the show itself, it flowed well, there were some good character beats, and I'm loving a lot of the new characters who are calling APW home. I've already developed a bit of a soft spot for "The Atomic Redhead" Rachel Ellsworth, as she is an incredibly fun character to write matches for.

Standout Face: I'm gonna go with Sally. Enjoyed that seg. Standout Heel: Gates and Gooch. That was just mean sirs. Standout Match: I did enjoy Crusher and Sally. Hard fought and it showed that way very well. Most Enjoyed Segment: Crushser. I'm very intrigued by his character. He seems like a good guy with a soft side and its hard as hell to expose that in my opinion. Least Enjoyed Segment: None, I liked them all. I was worried a little about writing Kia's because well yeah I didn't want it to be filler but I did want to put her out there. Shock or WOW Factor: The jumping. I honestly didnt think they was gon do that. Booooo heel meanies boooo!! Overall Opinion: A very good start up. I'm just happy I'm in a place where people are willing and wanting to work together. It brings he best out of everyone. Thank you for coming back APW seriously!

I'm probably the only one here watching Titansgrave, so no one will get that. Dammit.

I felt it when I was writing it but by the time I tried to fix it it was Friday and I had to send it in. It felt very cookie cutter to me, and I'm hoping that the coming shows offer a bit better in terms of segments from me.

Well, coming from the guy who couldn't write a face character if his life depended on it, you're going to have some growing pains trying to figure out how to navigate CJ as a heel. I tried turning Rebel face once and it was an absolute disaster. You'll find your groove though - and certainly gives you something of a challenge considering you'd mastered a face Gates. We've talked privately about the role that I can see Gates fulfilling as a heel, and I won't spoil that for the masses as you continue to delve in to his character but I'm really looking forward to seeing where you go with him!

So am I! I used to write heel characters all the time. When I first started this game, way back when, all I could do was heel (fun fact, when I originally created Gates, before bringing him to APW, he was a heel). Gates here was my first true face, and true with a capital T. That might be why it's harder to write him heel, he was so uber babyface that it still seems foreign for me to do so. Maybe I've got to start sending my segments to Biggs and Rebel for heel-edits

Bit late to the party but here are a few thoughts on things people have raised so far:
In terms of the word limits making matches feel "cookie cutter", I personally feel that brevity is almost always a good thing, BUT perhaps in order to make the card better reflect the "game", we could allow match writers more licence to extend their word count where there has been a particularly hard-fought and epic RP battle between the competitors, and to shorten it where weak efforts and no-shows come into play. Not a huge variation, just like 250 words either way. It could make for a more asymmetrical card, as wrestling shows tend to be, and reward hard-working RPers with more prominence in the show.
Secondly, there was no seg I disliked - perhaps I'd feel differently about the CJ Gates seg if I'd followed his character for years as many of you have, but I quite enjoyed it. A little explanation on the Jac Glydŵr/Terry Marvin seg - I wrote it (with T-Marv's permission) expecting that due to Jackson Reid's no-show, the tag match would be written as a handicap match, with Jac bravely battling the Dying Breed on his own and looking heroic in defeat. Obviously there was a crossed wire somewhere and Reid was written into the match, which meant that the seg probably didn't have the desired effect - no big issue but it might help if you imagine it as if Jac just lost a handicap match and took a serious beating in the process.
Finally, a suggestion for RP deadlines: "12am Thursday" can easily be misread and taken to mean the start, rather than the end, of Thursday, is the deadline. In SCW, midnight deadlines were expressed as 23:59 on the last day of the RP period - it really helped to avoid confusion.
Overall the show was great and an awesome positive sign of what the new APW can be, and I can't wait to really get involved with some of the awesome old and new characters that are being written here.

I attempted to write up some form of a review for the show but being that I have an absolute zero level of knowledge of these characters I didn't feel it was right to try and put my two cents into what "worked" and what didn't because I don't have that foundation of "Oh this guy has been a good guy/bad guy for years so this feels awkward to see them the other way around" that everyone else has.
