APW.com has learned that following the fallout from last night's Meltdown, general manager Johnny Diamond has booked a match for the APW North American championship at Mayhem!
"It's come to my attention that many are claiming Sam Parker had an unfair advantage at Meltdown's inaugural main event last evening in claiming a victory of Evan Envi. I went back and followed the tape and don't believe my evaluation had anything to do with the outcome."
"However, I've made good on my promise at the beginning of show. After taking a look at all of the talent currently on the APW roster, I've come to the conclusion that Envi deserves a second chance and a shot at redemption against Parker. Therefore, I've decided that Evan Envi will face Sam Parker for the APW North American championship at Mayhem!"
